When questioned, the employee admitted the menu prices were wrong because the owner hasn't updated them. Speaking with the owner made things even worse -- rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in fixing the issue or keeping customers. I ordered a sesame bagel untoasted with no spread in order to get the pure bagel experience and then a toasted plain with spread. The interior of the bagel is very much like white bread so, if you like white bread, you're in luck. If you're really into bagels and/or from NYC, you'll be disappointed. Saw this place next to our hotel and wanted to see what the lines were about. Boy did we find out! We stood in line for 40 minutes to order a couple bagel sandwiches and a blueberry bagel with strawberry spread. The bagel sandwiches were spectacular! I got the Turkey and cranberry sandwich and loved every single bite! The blueberry bagel with spread didn't have a good spread to bagel ratio but I wasn't too mad about that. The real star was the sand which. I just wish it was run a bit better. They have two drive through lines plus a walk up and order area but 2-3 people working. This caused every ordering line to take 40 + minutes before food was handed out. The staff was super duper friendly and aside from the madness seemed to be loving their jobs and made us feel happy to talk to them even though we waited so long. I had been wanting to go here for a long time but the line was always super long. Today I sucked it up and waiting in line for around 30 minutes. I got two things. I got the caprese sandwich and a bagel with cream cheese. Pictured is the bagel. It was burnt and the cream cheese was watery. It was about $15 bucks for those two things without a tip. The caprese sandwich was pretty good but I probably would not go back. The wait was unfortunately not worth it. One of the 5 best bagels I have ever eaten. Simply fantastic. We grabbed two toasted bagels with cream cheese at the drive through. We were going to save them to eat with coffee, but they smelled so incredible we decided to try a bite while they were piping hot. I'm so glad we did because they were amazing and we just kept munching. By the time we got our coffees at the close by coffee drive through, our bagels were halfway done. They are soft inside but still have that chew you want in a bagel. The toasted crust was perfectly browned and had that perfect combination of crusty crust and chewy crust. So so so so yummy. I had one of the cheese bagels, and there is an upcharge for cheese, but my bagel didn't have a lot of cheese on it. You'll have to decide if it's worth it. That would be my only compliant. I might have just gotten the one out of batch that didn't the same size cheese sprinkle. We both had our bagels with cream cheese. We decided on regular so we'd be able to taste the bagel. They did not skimp on the cream cheese. I hate paying for cream cheese and then being able to see the bagel through a super thin schmear. There was enough cream cheese on our bagel to make it a challenge to keep it from squeezing out with every bite. We stopped by on a fishing trip headed to the San Juan's. We prefer bagels over donuts and 1201 Bagels was recommended to us. It was a beautiful sunny slightly windy Thursday morning. They have a few tables and chairs to sit at. The menu was extensive with many different choices of bagel flavors and different cream cheese flavors. They had bagel sandwiches and even a bagel burger. We had the salmon lox bagel on everything bagel and the salmon Benny on pesto Parmesan. There was a little bit of a wait but once I ordered the wait wasn't long for our food. Both bagels were soft and toasted . They both had great flavor. You must try the pesto Parmesan bagel. It's delicious. It's a little extra for the cheesy bagels but it's worth it. The salmon Benny has smoked salmon, spinach , a fried egg and the most delicious creamy hollandaise spread. It was the best bagel sandwich I have ever ate. The lox bagel sandwich was everything I expected from a salmon lox. Creamy, with a bite from the red onion and tang from the capers. Definitely recommend to try this place when passing by! read more

They take forever to get you your order, wait time in line is AT MINIMUM 5-10 minutes per person. I ordered a Breakfast sandwich bagel, on an everything bagel with sausage and cream cheese. The order I received was an everything bagel with ONLY sausage. Not the correct order at all! I went back, after generously tipping them, confronted them nicely and asked them to remake it (keep in mind this an $8 bagel!!) and they refused. They offered me a side of cream cheese instead. Don't get me wrong, their bagel sandwiches are absolutely 5/5 quality, super delicious. The staff is kind and professional. I've gone here a handful of times. The only thing that dropped it to 4/5 is I tried a protein shake, and not only did I get the wrong flavor (I got banana put in, instead of peanut butter), it wasn't blended super well, like I was chewing on ice bits when I drank it. Got an everything bagel with a jalapeño shmear. The bagel itself was really nice, albeit a little under-toasted. The cream cheese was extremely tart and acidic and overloaded with pickle juice which was unfortunate. I wish we'de got some other kind of shmear because this just ruined a promising bagel. The drive through is pretty frustrating because you order at a window and then wait there until they prepare your right then. This means backed up lines and meaningless waiting. I wish folks could just order and then wait like regular drive-through; this seems a lot less efficient. p.s. The staff is extremely nice. read more

I love the concept of this little bagel stand but here are a few pros/cons: 1.) Both times I visited this past weekend, the wait was very long (15-20 minutes) for a basic bagel with spread. There are long lines of cars on both sides but it seems like they could hire another person to help to keep the lines shorter and more reasonable. 2.) The sandwiches are on the higher end price wise for what you get. 3.) The turkey cranberry was good but there was so much cranberry that it drowned out the taste of the other ingredients. 4.) They only serve drip coffee so if you want good coffee or a latte, you have to wait in line here and then go to the coffee stand nearby and wait in that line too. 5. There are two drive thru lanes and a walk up section for other people. Not sure they go in order so you may be waiting longer than expected. Pros 1.) Easy on and off the freeway 2.) LOTS of options for breakfast and lunch. So many good combos. 3.) Love all of the different cream cheese spread options. So many to try from! I would go back but only if I have a lot of time on my hands. read more

I've been here before when driving through Ellensburg and stopped again a few days ago while on a road trip. What a wonderful experience! There were four of us in the car and we each ordered breakfast bagles and a drink and the server working the window was absolutely fabulous! She explained our options and was super friendly. The food came out great and was delicious! We were a couple hours into a 9 hour drive and hungry so we scarfed up the food in the car quickly and continued on. I wish I would have taken pictures of the food but we were hungry and in a hurry.
