Don't sign up here unless you want to get robbed. They sent me to collections even though they auto draft my account every single month. I asked multiple times to cancel my account and they said I didn't have one. I wrote an email and they told me they didn't send anything to collections even though I disputed it and the agency sent me a copy of my 10 gym agreement I supposedly didn't have. And then they finally found one that I thought I had cancelled a couple years ago and charged me 60 bucks to cancel it even though they said they had already canceled it. I also can't get anyone to help me with the collections they wrongfully sent out. Steer clear of this company. read more

Seems like a totally normal 10 gym. Usually not super crowded, a little light on benches but that's where everybody usually congregates so it could just feel like that. Not having been to a gym regularly in nearly 15 years my review maybe skewed. I like it here. They have an easy membership program that is affordable and easy to understand. They have a lot of machines and free weights. They have aerobics classes and trainers available. Also during most of their open hours there is child care available. When I'm there I see staff actively cleaning equipment. the equipment is in good shape despite you can see it's been used. I have no complaints and am glad to be a member. read more

10Gym: I hate writing reviews to be frank but there are a few experiences where I'll invest time into them. 10Gym is one of them. I recently moved to the area so naturally, finding a new fitness community will top my list. Being a former personal trainer, fitness instructor, and membership sales associate, I have over a decade experience and knowledge of the gym environment. The idea of ANY gym is creating an environment where customers (every single one) is greeted and goals established and maintained. Where The facility is updated, maintained and clean. A fitness community is established between patrons and staff/trainers. It's a general all around inviting and motivating. You will not find any aspect of this in 10Gym. First day, I wasn't shown the gym at all. I was told I couldn't walk the gym to verify if My fitness needs would be met. (I walked it anyways, and instructed the front desk rep that she can either stay or follow.) Trainers/programs: With any new member, gyms come with an intro perk for a complimentary fitness assessment. (It's a mock training session.) This gets the new member involved right away and set on path to a goal. This also showcases the trainers and their capabilities to sell training packages while engaging the new member. 4 months later, I've seen one trainer 6 times. They do not wear uniforms, there is zero interactions (from what I witnessed) with other gym goers. Trainers MUST be present at all times of operating hours. If they are not with clients then they need to be on the floor making sure weights and equipment is in order. When not doing that, they should be engaging members on the floor, promoting gym services and inspiring members. There also needs to be a "intro" wall for trainers. A photo with a brief paragraph of their education/Certifications and highlights. Let members know who and what their options are. The front desk staff.. I cannot stress enough... you MUST find people with outgoing personalities. Too many times I don't even get a hello. Their faces buried in their phones. They MUST engage everyone that walks through their doors. Classes/group training: There's no advertising of available classes, promotions, or any schedule of group training programs for its members. There's zero effort to create a community. There's no trending products or supplements to purchase. There is a 3rd party vending machine that does NOT contain healthy energy supplements. They are stocked with "cheap market knockoffs" Equipment: While the equipment itself isn't terrible, it is an collection from 2 different gyms to create one. Plate weights are from different sets as well with dumbbells. Which max out at only 100lbs! There is a huge separation with the free weight section. And the machines seem to be randomly placed throughout the centered area. It feels like a Highlights Magazine, a puzzle to hunt and find objects in a cluttered space. In summary: it's not a motivating gym. A clunky collection of machines and weights. Ghosted by rare glimpses of a training staff and an underwhelming front desk reps. I just want to start off by saying the quality and service of this gym by the associates and how they maintain everything clean is just exceptional. I have been going here for quite some time and just have experienced exceptional service. Especially from Alex, everytime I come to this gym and she greets me its like it brightens my day because she's just so welcoming and caring and just always cleaning and a phenomenal worker. The ads are very deceptive -they do have a contract/commitment!!! And there's no way you're getting out of there for close to $10! The "premium" rate locks you in for a year's worth of payments. There is a $79 early termination fee if you choose to leave within that year, but your cancellation must be submitted in writing 30 days in advance. They act like they're doing you a favor by charging you $39 "membership rate guarantee" ON TOP OF the other $39 first-time registration fee for a basic membership. When asked about it, the staff member said flat out that "it's another way for the gym to bring in money". I asked if I could forgo the rate guarantee fee and just take my chances with the rates increasing and he said no. Because they know it's a scam and the rates never actually go up! It's just another way to nickel and dime you. The cheapest membership you could walk away with would end up at $98 (before tax) for the first 2 months (because it takes 30 days to cancel so you're hooked for at least 2) and that doesn't include childcare, classes, or any of the "premium" perks. My wife and i decided to sign up with a gym a year after moving to the Tulsa area. Sophia, employee of 10 gym and our consultant, was incredibly helpful in every way and was the nicest person. The new location in Tulsa is very nice, great working equipment, nice tanning, and other great amenities. However, it took a huge downward spiral when after two or three months of being a member there that their ABC financial group that handles all the membership fees started gouging us with unnecessary late fees. They also charged our account on file 2-3 times our membership cost for my wife and I both EACH. So instead of 21 dollars a person they were charging up to 60 dollars for the each of us. Do the math. Over a 100 was being charged to us for a couple months in a row. Whenever my wife called to discuss this with the main gym manager, he rudely said he couldn't help us and to contact ABC financial. I went in physically to the location and talked with a different manager who called ABC right then and got them to credit back the transactions and make our account active again. When contacting ABC they were even more rude and unprofessional about the whole thing. Unfortunately we have talked with about 3 to 4 OTHERS that have had the SAME thing happen to them. This is a major let down since the gym and most of the employees are very nice. Also a bummer that we've met multiple people that have had the same experience. My advice is get a different financial group to handle your memberships or be more understanding of what your customers are dealing with this ABC financial group. We would still be happy customers at your gym if it wasn't for this mishap and others having the same thing happen. We were wanting an affordable option to help stay fit and active without having to deal with someone taking more than what they should from our bank account. read more

Went for the first time with my fiancé to try it out, he's been an All American member for years so I thought why not? When we checked in he was told that since he wasn't "actually a 10Gym member" (their words) he could only bring one guest every 90 days, so I couldn't go back with him until August. Then, I'm walking on the treadmill while he's downstairs in the weight room. One of the people from the front desk when we checked in and knew I was a "guest" saw me and told me that we had to stay together. So he either has to walk with me or I have to sit and watch him lift weights? I was told that was correct. So heads up to all the long-time All American people, you're not "really" members and they treat your so called guests like crap. read more

I attended an interview for personal training with Custom Built Personal Training which is located inside 10 Gym at 69th and Lewis, Tulsa, OK. The salesman's name was Derek Roland. My friend was not interested in personal training but Derek talked to me about trying it out. I told him I was Type 2 Diabetic and I must speak to my doctor. I wasn't sure I could do it. He said they would be easy sessions to try it out and see if I liked it. I signed up and tried it for a month, missing two sessions due to health reasons. The personal training did not work for me so I called to cancel the remainder of what I thought was my one month of sessions. I went to my bank because I was being charged for services I did not understand and was told it was Custom Built Personal Training. I immediately went to 10 Gym and spoke with Matt, a personal trainer who was there at the time. To my surprise I was told this was a year membership at $180.00 per month. I was shocked! Matt told me he would get in touch with the owner. He text me back and told me to call customer service for Custom Built Personal Training. Upon calling customer service I was told they would do an internal investigation. That took about 30 minutes at which time I received a telephone message the contract stands. Again, I was shocked, what type of investigation did they do and how? I spoke to my friend who was with me that night for clarification about what happened when the contract was signed and she said Derek Roland specifically stated the bottom portion of the contract did not apply since I was trying the workout out for a month. At this time this company's practices are fraudulent! The area on the contract I am talking about was filled out after I left. I did not get my copy the night of signing and Derek Roland filled both copies. I want to warn people about doing business with CUSTOM BUILT PERSONAL TRAINING for doing fraudulent business. Also, I want to warn people about doing business with TEN GYM. I have belonged to All American Health Club for approximately 20 years and have always felt safe and secure. I was a member of All American/10GYM for almost 20 years. Last week I sent an email to the corporate office complaining about the ac not working in the group fitness class room. It has not been working properly for a month now. My email also included some other things that needed to be fixed. The ladies locker room smells like raw sewage and has for years. The equipment is rusty and the group fitness room smells like mildew. Instead of correcting the problem, they decided to cancel my membership. I was told I insulted them. Once they changed the name to 10GYM they said they would make several updates. That was over a year ago. The only thing they did was close the pool and move the group fitness room. Nothing else. I would spend the extra money at another gym and not 10GYM. read more

10GYM East Tulsa is by far the best gym in town! The staff is so friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk in the door, they even know a lot of the members by name which I think is cool and shows that they actually care about you. They are always willing and to help and there are so many machines you never have to wait! They are also literally ALWAYS cleaning their gym and interacting with their members on the gym floor as well. They have two memberships, one $10 a month called their basic, it is a no contract membership that gives you access to your home club and all of the free weights, cardio machines, locker room and sauna! They also have a 21.99 a month membership where you can bring a friend for free everytime! you can take the classes they offer like yoga and bootcamp and zumba! it also gives you access to all of their locations the pool at the broken arrow location AND gives you access to tan and use their hydromassage chairs! read more

Everyone is super nice. At first glance it doesnt seem like much but even when it is busy there are plenty machines. My only issue would be that need to spend some extra money on replacing some equipment (several treadmills arent working), making more parking, & fixing up the bathrooms. 10Gym itself is not bad. My experience has always been clean, a little crowded, but always something I can do to wait on a machine I want. I am giving them a 2 because they are indorsing Lighthouse Fitness. When you first sign up with 10Gym they schedule you a free fitness assessment. I was under the impression it was a fitness assessment...it's a sales pitch. Don't be like me and fall for it. After purchasing 12 sessions, I was told I could cancel at anytime. I was also told I would receive personalized meal plans, weight and measurement tracking and the sessions would be mostly free weights, kettlebells, and ropes. I received NONE of the above. I just called to cancel and was told it would cost $250 to cancel and basically...sorry you are out of luck. I was told if I did not continue to pay my monthly fee, I would be sent to collections. The $20/month 10Gym membership is worth it, just don't sign up for the "free assessment" it will cost you $360 like me! read more

I joined this gym as a married woman without children. We opted for the plan that is around $23.00 a month in order for my husband to work out with me. There is also a yearly fee that brings your cost up. The equipment is basic, and there is a musty smell in the air at all times. For what we were paying though, it was fine. Fast forward 1.5 years, and we have a son. I wasn't a fan of the "child care" room from the start. It's a small room, and kids of all ages are together. Only of of the three workers actually spoke or showed interest in the children or parents. Once my son was 8 months old, I reluctantly started dropping him off once a week or so. For child care, you can pay $10 per month per child for unlimited, but you have to sign up for a year, or you can pay $3 per child per visit. That brought our monthly fee up to around $40 per month plus the yearly fee. The child care problems started pretty quickly. Every time I picked my son up, he had black residue on his hands, knees, etc. The workers assured me that the floors were clean, but that the black mats shed their color. Another time, my son was the only child in the room. When I picked him up, the worker was texting on her phone and my son was on the floor crying. She simply said that he was sad to be the only child in the room. The final straw was when I picked my son up and his lip was bleeding. The worker was holding him, but explained that she wasn't quite sure what had happened to him. In my opinion, the "child care" is not acceptable. read more
