Been a while since I've been to 100 Montaditos and with their new location in Pines it was a must try. So, we came here for my kids birthday dinner and it was enjoyable. Hard part was to figure out what to eat and try with their large array of options as they don't call it 100 Montaditos for nothing lol. Ordering was easy at the counter as you order by number. Paper is given to you at the table to help you write down your options. They also offer great deals on happy hour and package deals and also have flamenco dancers on Fridays. Wednesdays they offer $1 off each sandwich. Love the decor and truly gives you the Spain vibes. Service was good as the main floor personnel was doing it all as the greeter, the bar tender, the cashier, the busboy and even saw him in the open kitchen helping! Everything tasted great but a little on the cold side. Our favorite sandwich was the chorizo and fried egg. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. All the bowls were good portions and great combinations. Definitely worth a trip back for happy hour on Friday and attempt to catch the Flamenco show! read more

This 100 montaditos location is great because it's very spacious. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. You walk up to the cashier where you place your order. They have the menu cards that you can look at to make your choices. I think that's the hardest part because there are a lot of montaditos to choose from. And if that's not enough, they also offer other things now like paella, bowls, and tablas to add on with your montaditos. They sell beer, wine, sangria and tinto de verano to compliment your Spanish goodies. My ultimate fav is the tinto de verano. A pitcher of that baby and it feels like I'm back in Spain! Once you place your order, you're given a number which you place on your table and the food is brought out when it's ready. This time we skipped the montaditos and tried the seafood paella which was surprisingly delicious! It had a really good amount of seafood. I also liked that the portion is not huge, so it's perfect to share and get a few more plates. We also got the Tabla Espanola which is great compliment to the rest of the food with jamon serrano, chorizo, fuet sausage and manchego cheese. And an order of chistorras which are very yummy. I chose 100 Montaditos for lunch last month because the last time I went I was still living in Orlando and it just reminded me of the good ol' days. Nowadays I am big on nostalgia and good memories and the experience did not disappoint. Each mini sandwich is only between $2 something-$4 each which is not bad and there are over 100 different combinations to choose from. My favorite was the guava & cheese but you cannot go wrong with any choice on the menu. The atmosphere was welcoming and kind. Forewarning, the sangria is strong. I had one glass and needed to drink a lot of water afterwards but I am also a lightweight so that could also be why. read more

I decided to accept my Spanish friend recommendation and I love this place; 100 montaditos serves small sandwiches for $2.99-3.50 each so you can try different options! (are small, open-faced Spanish sandwiches typically made with slices of crusty bread.) 100 montaditos because comes from 1-100, I like that you can ordered with a note and pick any number; I tried #8; #81; #84. #28 My favorite was the #81 Serrano ham with fresh mozzarella, tomato and pesto. As well I tried one with tortilla española, another with Philly steak. We went to get this for brunch, so decided to order coffee but I'd recommend try Wine or Sangria. I enjoy the ambiance, the music, the decoration. The service was amazing. He explained everything and guide me to how to order. We ordered 5-6 montaditos. Excellent service! So we decided to celebrate after Spain's win and surprisely it was empty. Of course it was after the party. The food was good but I noticed there was only one cook and one server. We had the pitcher of tinto de verano which was delicious but the food took a while to come out. Overall everything was good. I only have a negative observation which was annoying to me. The place was empty, yet the music was blasting so loud that we barely could talk. And the server kept bringing our food "which is great" but left all the leftovers on our table. We ended up having a ton of garbage on our table. Not a big deal but why not clean the table? The place is empty and she was ok her phone the entire time. Anyways. Aside from that everything was great. Before I forget, the paella was good but it wasn't fresh. It tasted like reheated microwave leftovers. That was my take. I will come back again to see. There used to be a 100 Montaditos (usually meaning to mount or top but there they put the fillings inside the bread as opposed to on top of the bread) restaurant in a different shopping center that went out of business so I was happy to see one show up in another shopping center nearby. My friend and I went at lunchtime and there was only other person there so our order was ready pretty quickly. One of the hardest things here is trying to decide what you want to eat because as the name says there's 100 choices. They now offer bowls and other things like paella and french fries and things that they didn't have at the original restaurant making choosing what to eat even harder! In addition to water and sodas, they also sell beer, wine, and sangria. We ordered the cheese fries and Spanish tortilla to split and then each got two of montaditos. The montaditos are bite-size sandwiches, but it was still too much food and we both had leftovers. The food was really good and I throughly enjoyed what we ordered. I even bought a few home for my son. The two people working were both very nice and the place was clean. Will definitely return. read more

We were looking for a quick lunch spot and drove by this place. I'm so glad we decided to stop! The ambiance was very relaxed, I didn't feel rushed to make my food choice. We sat wherever we wanted, chose our food, then placed our orders and paid. We were given a call disk and didn't wait more than 5 mins before our food was ready. I had the garlic shrimp: a dozen medium sized shrimp perfectly cooked, basted in olive oil and garlic with a wedge of delicious, crunchy bread to soak up all that deliciousness. The wife had the Spanish torta which transported her to Spain. Well seasoned, the potatoes were soft not mushy, the eggs were fluffy. All in all, delicious. We also hade the fried calamari. Man o man, these were the softest strips of calamari I've had in a long time! The aioli sauce was great, it complimented the calamari perfectly. My only negative is that the calamari itself was a bit underseasoned. Maybe it was the breading, and again this is to my personal taste. Add to this delicious lunch, a nice glass of merlot and the meal was complete! As a note, I read a previous review giving this place 2 stars wher they commented on having to seat yourself, basically doing it allself serve, to that individual I say,this is the atmosphere usually found in Europe. We here tend to feel rushed for everything. Being hovered over by someone or asked constantly 'will that be all?' after each thing you ask for. We were able to enjoy our food, leisurely and enjoy our time. If you're in a rush, go to burger king. If you want to enjoy a good meal come see 100 montaditos. Odd arrangement for ordering food at a counter with two screens that are unmanned but are not self service. You sit yourself at a table with a menu you pick up at the unmanned counter and figure out what you want. Then you go back to counter where the server enters your order and you pay and are asked for a tip but you pick up your own food at a counter. The place is next to a cigar bar and the cigar smell permeates throughout. It's cavernous and loud so you can't hear yourself at your own table. The sangria is at best slightly better than kids juice. The food is just ok. The croquetas are all a uniform mush that you can't distinguish from one another (they all tasted the same) and the montaditos taste like something you could prepare at home. So they'll need to do better but I'm not waiting around to give it another try. read more

Just picked up my order and without tasting it the disappointment started. According to their menu the paella is a "shareable," meal, was told 2 people could eat from one serving. I bought 3 since we were five people. I literally received one meal player, which includes 3 shrimps, 4 calamari and 3 clams. According to them this is big enough to share one portion with two people. I paid for three, this can't feed three people, let alone enough to share. Called, manager out till the middle of next week. Told a lady who claims her name is Anne/Ana that they're misleading their customers, she agreed. Needless to say, completely disappointed and this business is fully taking advantage and misleading its customers. $64 thrown away, now have to look for more food to feed my family for my daughter's birthday. Will update if the manager ever returns the message I left. I would look elsewhere to feed my family', unless you're good with paying $64 for a plate of one meal. read more
