Excellent service kids were happy it was air conditioned in the trailer and it fit in the driveway

I was really excited to book 1-Up Game Truck for my son's birthday. I initially booked over the phone, and the owner let me know she would be sending over a waiver and a link to pay the deposit. Unfortunately, I never received either. I followed up via text just to confirm the booking and ask how to submit the deposit, but I never got a response. I completely understand that people get busy, so I spaced out my messages and calls to avoid being pushy or annoying. With my son's party only three days away and still no confirmation, I ultimately had to book with another company to be safe. One thing worth noting for others planning ahead is that this company mentioned needing to connect to our home router via cable, which may be inconvenient for some setups. The company we ended up booking had their own WiFi, which worked better for us. While it didn't work out for our event, I wanted to share our experience so other parents can plan accordingly. It would have been horrible to have 12 boys show up and no game truck! I hope things can run more smoothly for future customers. read more

1-Up Game Truck - This is the entire conversation with my address retracted. I also called 3 times over 4 days and left one friendly voicemail. - Game Truck Rental Near Me

Reserved the game truck for my sons 12th birthday in July and it was a hit! Truck arrived prior to booking time to set up etc. They had plenty of games to choose from for every age which was great! The trailer was air conditioned too, a plus during the heat! The owner was awesome and helpful during the entire party. Booking process was quick and my questions were answered in a timely manner. I wasn't waiting days for a response back like I experienced with another business. Thank you 1-up game truck for an awesome experience! We definitely recommend booking them for your next event! read more

Very fun, clean, and a lot of options to choose from. Price was very fair and she came on time to set up. I enjoyed the PlayStation VR and so did my children. I would recommending purchasing additional hours because when it was time to go, the kids were asking where the truck went. Definitely recommend 1-up game truck and will use them again for my other events. read more

Leah was amazing to work with! We had some issues with another party rental company and was scrambling to find another entertainment for the kids for our sons birthday party yesterday and she definitely came to the rescue. Though she lives in Manteca, she still made it out all the way to San Jose for our party last minute and we are very grateful for that. Her game truck was very clean, had ac especially for the heat wave we were going through, had all the latest games even something my 4 year old loved. She even sat down with my daughter and danced with her!! She came on time and the kids had a blast with the game truck. Luckily I was able to pull them out to eat before they started playing or else they would've never came out to eat haha read more

This was one of the best birthday party entertainment rentals I have ever done! Booked this truck for our sons 8th birthday. The kids and the parents LOVED it! The booking process was easy and simple (I actually got to speak with a real person instead of filling out a form and having someone get back to me). They called to confirm prior to the event and easily accommodated more time needed. The game truck was very clean and on time. They have all the new video games for both boys and girls even including some online games that the kids knew of. We were very pleased with hiring this game truck. Pricing was great too! Can't say enough great things because this was one of the easiest birthdays ever! We will definitely rent from again. read more

They were reliable, had a great selection of games, and managed to keep 20 kids happy for the whole time. I highly recommend them for a trouble free kid party. read more

Our City has been banned from hosting events, due to the Coronavirus. We paid them over 500 dollars. They won't refund us our money. They never told us that we could not cancel. They told us that we had to have the event anyways, and that they will not be refunding. There's no way to host the event because we have to stay in our home. We did not sign any contract with this company, or were ever told of the refund policy. They are very unprofessional. Took all day to respond to text message about refund. Will not answer the phone for us, even though we have been completely respectful consumers. Will not recommend them to anyone. read more

I was really excited to book with Leah for my client's upcoming first birthday. After chatting with her and getting all of the details, she texted me the information she needed to start the invoice. As an event planner, I need to discuss the information with my client before moving forward. After 48 hrs I reached out to Leah to move forward with booking. She informed me that she was no longer available for the time I needed. I replied stating that it would have been great if she would have notified me that someone else was requesting to book that date and time. She then stated that "it's also good practice not to ghost when information is requested". I found her text very rude and unprofessional. As a business owner I always communicate when the quote will expire, which she hadn't, and I reach out to a potential client if someone is requesting their date. I would have loved to work with Leah for future events, but her communication and unprofessionalism definitely will keep me and my clients away. read more

The best birthday party ever. My son was in heaven. They are super profession, very communicative. They set up early so the kids had their full playing time. Even the adults loved it. Plenty of room for everyone and the kids all were able to play their favorite games. Thank you Leah and 1-Up Game Truck for making his birthday "Epic" read more

My son love love LOVED having 1 Up Game Truck for his party! He was definently the coolest kid at school for quite awhile after the party too... I loved the super friendly service and quick responses to my million questions before the party. I've grown so used to doing everything for birthday parties over the years, but having 1Up Game Truck come was by far the easiest thing I've ever done, not to mention the best value for my money! I highly recommend them for any event for the gamer in your life!! read more

I booked this game truck for my sons birthday during covid and was told I would receive a refund if they canceled. They canceled and I never gave me my refund. They don't answer calls or emails!! Got the game truck as a surprise for my son's 12th birthday on September 12th and it was awesome! All of the boys were so excited and surprised. It was very clean and had AC inside which was of course needed with this summer heat. I would definitely recommend. read more

For winter party's it's hard too keep kids entertained. You can't have a pool because it's too cold. You cant count on having a jumper because it may rain. You can't just have the kids running like wild animals around your house the whole time so we decided to look into a game truck. We had 1-Up game truck come out for my sons birthday party and it kept the kiddos and some adults entertained the entire time. When it was time for the game truck too go the kids were all sad and didn't want to see it go. I highly recommend this company for any event they are amazing to work with!! read more

We had the pleasure of having the 1up Game Truck for my son's ninth birthday. It was so amazing we had 20+ children and the owner Leah was able manage all the kids and give the kids a great experience. They had all the games the kids love.. There was something for everyone, they had a great time playing just dance on the Nintendo switch, and of course every kid now loves Fortnite they were playing all of the new games in a clean beautiful user friendly Game Truck. It was a hot day out, but it was nice and cool inside with Ac on. I would 100% recommend this to anybody whose kids are gamers this is a great addition to any party. The kids are all playing games and the adults can have adult time while your kids get their gaming on in the truck. We will be using them again... great price, great games and an amazing experience all around. read more
