My experience with this company could not have been more stellar. We had carpet in our house that…read moremust have been at least forty years old. We finally decided that it was time to pull the trigger. We stopped by the business and selected "Shaw Heritage Oak" vinyl plank flooring. It's a light greyish color that is just gorgeous! We had them do the Master Bedroom first and then decided that we could live with the same for the rest of the upstairs. They had their work cut out for them. We have a house that was built in the seventies and the floors were very wavy and had been laid with pressed wood and just regular nails instead of screws. So, over the years there was much movement and those simple nails had become loose and caused all of the unevenness. They also replaced three or four boards and installed about one million and six screws to tighten up the floor. Just kidding! But they really DID use a bunch of screws!!!! Then they "floated" the floor with a fine mixture that looks like concrete and does a great job of making the floor even again. They used sixty bags of that stuff. It took them about four days of work with several people to get it done. They even moved the furniture back and forth as needed. I wholeheartedly recommend them. Thanks Elliott flooring.

My first impression was she is very chill, easy to talk to, and friendly. She was by far the most thorough. In addition to checking out the roof, she climbed in the attic over the garage and the one above the second floor. She said she wanted to give an estimate in a way to minimize surprises during the job. She showed me some pics of some visibly damaged boards. I had some other companies out but hadn't gone with them because they were a combination of car salesman, liars, and clueless. I said to her, beat my best estimate and let's move forward. We had several quotes (few in the 6 digits). My husband and I just couldn't agree on which one to choose from. The quotes were either too high or did not on design, and sometimes both. I called STL Design and Build Design, setup an appointment as my last resort. STL Design sent Tom Levinson. Mr. Levinson arrived earlier than time with his assistant. This is definitely a rare. We went through the areas for remodeling. Tom sat me down and listen to all I wanted to do. Then it came down to the details and pricing. The wants an can't live without. We finished with an estimated quote that we were very happy with. Tom was wonderful. He gave me sound advice on my selections for the kitchen remodel. He went through the cost, time-line, and process. Tom went to warehouses with me for selections on the items. Matthew Pevehouse, thank goodness for him. I had a family emergency out-of-state. Matt took care of everything for us. The whole crew were wonderful. Matt took pictures and kept me up to date. If there was an issue it was quickly resolved.
