Frency and her staff truly give the utmost service to not only the patients but their families as well! The lines of communication are extremely good with this company. I have seen my family member go from being very very sickly to doing extremely well due to the great service from Western Home Care and Frency and her team. From the at-home nurse that comes by several times a week to the physical therapist that comes by - everything is well organized and supervised. The workouts are perfect for my elderly family member who has regained strength. If you have a loved one who is very important to you who would rather stay home than be in a nursing home, this is the company that you need to call if you want top-notch service and care! (They may also visit nursing homes to perform the same level of care. I have not inquired.) I'm so glad we were partnered with Western Home Care by the hospital staff upon our discharge it was truly a wonderful blessing! Frency truly outpaces and outperforms other medical administrators that I've had experience being around. She always makes herself available in case an emergency situation comes up. Livingstone is the most wonderful home health agency. All of their nurses are extremely well trained and very caring. Their skill level in medication infusion, IV fluid, wound care and complex dressing changes and explanations on medications and physical activities were better than any other professional nurses and therapists that we encountered before. Their professional demeanor was real and deeply caring. I have to admit that our elderly parents were saved many times due to these deeply caring professionals from the Livingstone Home Health Agency. If we have any questions or concerns they always answer the questions immediately. Many times we actually got a call from the president of the company. I strongly and highly recommend this agency without any reservations. I give them five stars. We all have dealt with this agency for over twenty years and they are the best place for our family's home health care needs. After a medical condition left my mother unable to walk she ended up in a skilled nursing facility for physical therapy to get her mobile again. Her doctor recommended 24 / 7 care. I called and spoke with Ryan who came out the very next day. We talked in detail about Mom's needs. He was comforting, reassuring, friendly, personable, polite, professional and knowledgeable. He made sure to include my mom in on the conversation. I've been with some people that overlook the patient as it may be easier and faster to converse with whoever might be assisting them. He made sure she knew she was the primary party in this process, listen to her needs and concerns and described in detail what they had to offer. Day nurses were MIRKA and ZARA. Their primary job was to see to Mom's safety as she was pretty much having to learn to walk again. They worked 12 hours shifts. They helped her to get in and out of bed, shower, keep her medications in order, got her meals, and assisted with the dog. They did laundry and changed bed linens. (We made sure not to ask them to do anything outside of the scope of their job description.) They took her vitals throughout the day and assisted with her physical therapy. They logged all that they did for her and noted how she was doing with things and progress she was making. Esmeralda was the night nurse. Also a 12 hour shift. Less to do while a patient is sleeping but she still worked and stayed attentive to Mom. She assisted her with bedtime tasks and checked on her hourly through the night; if Mom made any noises she made sure she was OK. Also logging things through the night. If Mom needed anything - getting to the bathroom, a drink of water - Esmeralda saw to it. She also tidied up anything around the kitchen or living room. All three of these women were kind and compassionate and receptive to Mom's needs. And they possessed all of the qualities noted above for Ryan. They were instrumental in Mom's healing. My hope, naturally, is that Mom won't need this kind of care anymore. But if so I wouldn't hesitate contacting LWHC. I cannot think of enough positive adjectives to describe them. I am forever grateful for them.

She got to know mom, her expectations and personality. And then went over how Living Well could meet our needs. I was highly impressed and immediately could see the compassionate attitude that set the standard for Living Well and their caretakers. Because Donata learned who my mom was, she has been able to precisely align caretakers that work best with Mom. With Donata's tenure in the business she brings a wealth of experience to the table. And I greatly appreciate that whenever I have reached out to her, she gets back with me immediately. She is one of the hardest working women, I know. Living Well has put standards in place where I can always check and see how Mom's daily care is going with each caretaker that comes to the house. Medicare has very strict requirements: physical evaluations, doctors' reports, copies of forms, and sometimes even re-doing paperwork for the smallest details. One form had to be re-done because the doctor listed her medical group name (how they bill patients) instead of her own name. These kind of delays were frustrating, but were entirely due to Medicare's rules, not Caremax. Lisa actually warned us from the start that Medicare is very particular and that patience would be necessary. She was right. But through it all, she stayed on top of everything and made sure we understood every step. When my sister's motorized wheelchair was finally delivered, Terry and Lee were wonderful! Terry had come out earlier to take measurements, and was so easy to talk to. Both Terry and Lee made the delivery day easy, and even fun! They showed all the features and explained how everything worked, definitely put a bow on the whole experience working with Caremax. Before closing this review, I have to say that I've read some reviews criticizing Caremax for delays. In our experience, that's unfair. The service itself was excellent. Lisa did everything she could to help us. The waiting and setbacks were simply a part of Medicare's process. When you're dealing with health and quality of life, every day admittedly feels longer, but I can honestly say Caremax as a whole, Lisa, Terry and Lee were wonderful to work with. Two thumbs up!
