I always come before or after the nail salon for empanadas. However, I saw the sign outside for frozen yogurt and decided to stop in. I am glad I did, the Fro-yo was really good. I got mine on a waffle cone, and it tasted fresh. I hate stale cones. I wished they had other flavors to try, because they were only serving cookies & cream. This weeks prize for the lack of common sense goes to the employee of this establishment! I ordered a smoothie of banana and strawberries, she asks what else and I say sugar. She then adds cinnamon and vanilla. I ask her what that is and she adds another shot. I understand she couldn't hear me because the blender was turned on. None the less, she proceeds as she had done anything wrong and even tries to blame me for her mistake. My friend walks in, and in an effort to not give this employee a hard time, decides he will take this one. Which by the way, she decides to make it a large without asking! Question, you make large smoothies with 1/2 a banana and 5 strawberries? I had to ask for more while she was making a large smother... Yikes! After handing me this watery drink, she leaves to go attend to another customer whom walks in. Ummm hello.... We have not completed our transactions. I ask for another smoothie and she was going to mix it in the left over of the previous drink that has the vanilla and cinnamon extra shots. When I ask her why, she says it's the same exact drink. Ummm ma'am, please be kinder and exercise empathy. When I explained to her, she gives me an intense glare ( i suppose to intimidate me), once again unapologetic. I am not sure if the owner is aware of these shenanigans... The smoothies are delicious, and engaging with the owner is a pleasure. This place serves some delicious smoothies!!! Stopped by after a long day and the person at the counter was super chill and helpful with recommendation. The smoothie tasted fresh, had so much flavor and was very filling. The fruit behind the counter looked like it was freshly cut and they use very generous amounts when making your smoothie. They had some pastries to try out as well which I highly recommend you buy while your there. I will def be going back next time I'm in the area. read more

First of all, the owner is chill and really cool. He never fails to provide amazing smoothies that hit the spot! The fruits are fresh and clean. Granola, all the ingredients for a green smoothie, whey protein, you name it. Plus, I can never resist from buying his patelitos. The selection of patelitos is bigger than most: cheese, chicken, beef, shrimp, and something else (I don't remember). The price is great for the quality of what's served. They also serve frozen yogurt now, but I haven't tried it yet (note that I said yet). This is my go-to spot and I've never been disappointed with their service for the past 3 years I've been coming here. $3 for a small, $4 for a medium, and $5 for a large. Yeaaaa don't go to this place. The stuff is no longer fresh, super frozen and they are very skimpy when you ask for greens. Smoothies are meant to be a healthy alternative to a drink. If someone wants greens just charge them for the greens. He guy was super rude and said " I thought so" when I said I no thank you to his one piece of kale. He was also really rude to the people in front of me saying " you want it or not" when the lady asked why it was an extra dollar. This is why businesses in these neighborhoods struggle. Worst banana smoothie I've ever had the misfortune of tasting. I though I would have been able to deal with it, but honestly one sip of that horrible concoction was enough. They don't use milk or ice, just one can of condensed milk and one can of evaporated milk. Not half but one whole can of each. Just imagine the calories in one shake. The only reason I gave this smoothie shop a 2 is because it's the only smoothie shop in my neighborhood. The fruit is far from fresh. One day I ordered a fruit salad and the fruit was abnormally small and had a disqusting chemical after taste. The sad part is that this shop used to be a hit. About 4 years ago the service was outstanding, the smoothies and other menu items were delicious, and they were able to make your smoothies just the way you requested. I bought a 2 dollar Pataleo that was supposed to be filled with shrimp n I bit it n one...One shrimp was on the inside. I tried to show it to him n he was very reluctant to look. I tried explaining my situation n he simply turned n looked away n ignored me. I left n came back n asked for management. To my surprise he claimed to be it. I tried to explain the error in his disposition n the fact that he did not offer money back nor another food sample or even a mare sorry. He did not care n was very rude. if i could give this company zero stars i would. the owner of this store is a tall hispanic guy, i'm not sure of his name because he wouldn't provide it. i'm sure he was aware that i would report his company. let me start off by saying his customer service skills are not up there and he is very unprofessional. i came into the shop and asked for a small smoothie which is $3 and i also wanted a chesse pateleo which is $1. i asked him was the pateleos fresh and he stared at me and sarcastically said no they were sitting there for a month, then told me i come there everyday and i know that the pataeleos are $1. i told him i know the price and that i was asking about the freshness of the food because previous i purchased a pateleo and it was a bit stale (not fresh). he then got offended and told me to have a nice day and didn't bother to sell me the smoothie and pateleo. i will no longer be going to this place of business because of poor customer service. this is exactly why i don't like going to places of minorities because of cases such as this one. read more
