Heavy handed with the chicken (seasoned very well) within their wraps and pasta meals. You can call it in and take it to go or eat at the counter top sit down. If your into protein shakes and juices, they got you. Paying $8 for a salad for the Bronx isn't bad, considering your paying almost $11-13 for a salad from Chop't in Manhattan. Only 2 bowl offerings, hope they can expand that option. Also hope they can expand on a breakfast menu that doesn't exist. Parking although open, it's deceiving. Traffic agents walk aggressively around here bcz there is a school next door also. If you choose to park in the street. However, there is a Open parking lot next door to Pwr House that can be used for this location. It's not a Muscle Maker Grill chain, but for where it's at and the offerings, it's worth it. And unlike MMG, they sell Creatine, pills, powders, supplements throughout to help get to were you want to be health wise.

They do large meal preps for the week, where if you buy 15 meals, you get one free. Their food is perfectly portioned, reasonably priced, and the healthiest you can get without your food tasting like straight cardboard. When I warm up my food, there is literally no grease in my plastic container. My only complaint is that their meal prep is sometimes inconsistent. I will ask for sauces on the side, but not get them. I will call ahead to pick up my meals, and sometimes they are not ready until the following day. This may be a more systematic issue that they need to iron out because it seems like they have really been building up their clientele.

I shopped that particular store online for what was in stock. Went to the location and was told the price was DOUBLE the online price, even after informing the clerk of the online price and asking if he was sure the in-store price was correct. He never checked the online price. Went home, checked the price again, and called the store. Was put on hold and called back and was treated rudely by a woman who said she was the manager. Was told to come back, tell the clerk about the online price (exactly what I had done the first visit!), and they would check the online price and honor it. So now I have to walk another 3/4 mile round trip in the heat and humidity to get the lower price (if it's still on the website!). Incompetent and inconsiderate "service".

The manager Maria is rude and is very politically incorrect...that's putting it mildly. She allowed…read moreher lighter complexioned customer to skip me and my daughter(we are African American). Instead of apologizing, she argued and lied about the situation. The same customer was never on the line. She helped him behind the register while we were already on the line. That same manager asked me what country I was from a few months earlier...as if that had anything to do with business. She also said she didn't care if I called the CEO which shows you the standards the employees are given when it comes to customer service. The entire ordeal felt racist and it just wasn't professional. There is an employee name Mario who talks badly about his fellow employees to customers, which is uncomfortable to say the least. He's a grown man so it looks odd that he would interrupt a transaction to bad-mouth employees who are much older than he is...especially when those employees he speaks bad of are actually great and make the store better. He also gets sores/warts on his arms and hands and they sometimes look like he picks at them because there will be blood, and he won't wear gloves when performing transactions. There was a previous manager who was moved from the store because she would hide in the back and not serve minority clients during the pandemic. GNC needs to do better with this location. I've been going to Vitamin Shoppe. They have more variety and better customer service. They respect people regardless of race. The employees don't speak badly about each other and make the customer feel uncomfortable. It's a functional and professional environment to buy protein and energy drinks and go about your day.
