I provided them a dress shirt, brand new out of the pristine packaging from Nordstrom. No stains. I just needed the creases out. I went to pick it up, and unfortunately still full of creases. No problem, it happens. I ask them to redo it as it can't be worn like that. I go to pick it up again, and now it's covered in stains. These stains were not there when I handed it to them, or when they gave it back to me the first time. No idea where they came from, but I noticed it right away - dark brown and throughout the entirety of the shirt. I pointed it out, and they took it back while I waited. They reluctantly fixed it. Regardless, I'm not sure why I gave them a clean shirt to be pressed and then it came back with stains. The woman then told me to find another dry cleaner if I wasn't happy and that it wasn't going to be perfect (unprompted as I was leaving). Im not expecting perfect, but I do expect to be handed a shirt without stains, especially when it was given to them without. I found this to be hurtful and rude. As a loyal customer, I would have continued coming back and assumed it as a one off. The fact they were so dismissive and not taking ownership was incredibly disappointing.

They are professional, reliable, and provide excellent service every time. I especially have to give a shout-out to their seamstress--she is absolutely amazing! We have been loyal customers for many years for a reason. I would highly recommend Continental Cleaners to anyone looking for a dependable, professional cleaner with wonderful people who truly care about their work!

They're literally an inch too big around my waist. That's not how dress pants are supposed to fit. The same thing happened with the sleeves of the my suit jacket. They fit too long and look sloppy. They did some minor alterations but I now have a suit that still doesn't fit my body and does not have the tailored look the way it's supposed to. A complete waste of time and money. They do a fine job at the actual tailoring work, but their refusal to do what I requested suggests a high level of laziness & absolute disregard of the customer's needs. The lady also seemed very passive-aggressive in her tone. You would think people who tailor clothes for a living would know the importance of how clothes should properly fit. Never coming back here again.

The woman working both when I dropped off and picked up was friendly and efficient, but otherwise there wasn't much that wowed me about the place. For a shirt, jacket, and pants, it came out to just under $15 which I assume is reasonable? The only thing that caught me off guard was how long it took for the clothes to be cleaned. Despite the fact that ry seemed to have a large facility, I didn't see any cleaning happening on the premises, so I suspect they send it out. It took a week for my clothes to be ready for pickup. Didn't dry cleaners used to be know for same day or next day service? I probably would come back here again the next time I need a dry cleaner, it's right next to the train station, however they don't open until after my train leaves in the morning, so not as convenient as it could be.

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The seamstress was not there when I dropped of the coat, they said that she will look and see if she can fix it and let me know by phone. I then find out that she "fixed" my coat without consulting me first, claiming the repair was necessary for the dry cleaning process. In doing so, she actually made the tear worse and ended up ruining the coat. When I tried to address the issue with the staff, the situation only got worse. The employees became defensive, rude, and belligerent. The interaction escalated to the point where I felt uncomfortable and unsafe in the store, as two male associates were behaving aggressively. I haven't even evaluated the quality of the dry cleaning yet, but at this point it's hard to say the service was worth the cost of a ruined $400 coat and the unpleasant treatment I received. It's especially disappointing because I had hoped I'd found a reliable dry cleaning and tailoring service close to home.

From my perspective, however, dry cleaning is fairly simple: 1. Are they careful about tagging each piece of each item so that you don't pick up a houndstooth K&G suit when you dropped off a charcoal Hugo Boss suit? 2. Do your clothes come back clean and wrinkle free? 3. Do they do their work onsite (allowing for faster turnaround on rush orders, as well as minimizing the likelihood of items getting lost in the shuffle)? 4. Are they pleasant / polite? 5. Are their prices reasonable? For me, each "yes" equals a star. See? Simple.
