I was leaving town to join my girlfriend in NC and all I needed to do was clear out of my current apartment. No problem, right? Wrong. I opened the door to my second bedroom which housed all my "stored" items or as it was lovingly referred to by my mother, "the room where my life had gone to die." I was going to need some help since I rarely subject my friends to torture and I couldn't possibly have my folks digging around in there for fear of what they might find, I opted to find a better way. Luckily, a quick perusal of the internet brought me to this shop and my issue was all but resolved. You may not have the same situation as me but these guys can help out just the same. I had discussed the move with my girlfriend. She was less than inclined to bring a bunch of my gear down just to have it sit idly in her garage and I welcomed the opportunity to purge some artifacts of my youth. I recently had a TON of garbage from moving out of a 1 bedroom apartment to the house I purchased. I had been taking all of the garbage to the new house because I was not going to be at the apartment 4 days later for garbage day, but after the big move day, I lost all of my help. There was no way I was going to be able to load all of the 2nd round of garbage into the truck by myself to bring it up to my house. Recently we had a serious problem: moving an oversized piece of furniture back into our Ridgewood home. A well-regarded moving company had told us the job was a challenge and couldn't be done. They said the piece was too large and the house entry and staircase too small for the piece to fit. We couldn't live with selling or giving away the piece. As a repeat customer, JG and team never cease to impress. Just like the other reviews say, they are amazingly pleasant, quick to respond and get the job done, and upfront with their pricing which is very competitive with the other large/professional junk removal companies. What is more important is that they are always extremely careful not to damage anything when they are moving the items out and they give you the option to donate. This last point is the most important to me. If you can avoid having your unwanted stuff becoming more landfill, why not? There are so many items that you would never think that could be donated that are actually desperately needed and can be reused by animal shelters and other charities. Our tenants recently moved out of our old house. I had to travel here in order to coordinate the contractors coming in for repairs and the house being listed for sale. Had a great experience with JG's team! They were able to accommodate same day pickup and were very nice and professional. They also donate items that are able to be and that made me feel much better about getting rid of items I couldn't take with me when I moved. They came to my storage unit and moved all my items even from a second floor internal unit. I didn't have to lift a finger! I helped hold the elevator to make myself feel useful. I've been in the process of moving out of my apartment, and my roommates and I have accumulated a lot of junk over the past four years. The guys were really efficient, quick, and professional. Well, I accidentally called another company who was VERY eager to get our business.
