They made an appointment to come out and give me a quote on having a mattress removed between 7-9pm. Waited .... But no one ever showed up or called. Should give zero stars for this treatment. read more

I had seen many ads for this service, so I was excited to try it out. The employees I met were nice, but are left handling customer complaints because company policy doesn't permit them to disclose several things. It comes off as misleading, especially since he said they aren't even based here. When scheduling over the phone, I was told pricing depends on volume of items, but no "starting at" price or anything. I was surprised at the prices (starting at $169), and especially surprised at the ADDITIONAL $150 labor fee that I also wasn't told about. I was later told that if I had my items in a central location that I wouldn't have to pay the $150 fee, but if I could move them myself then I wouldn't have to hire a service. What I thought was going to be an easy and reasonable service turned into feeling misled and scammed. read more

I called junk removal and paid over $600+. They removed "some" the items I requested, but most certainly left a lot! However, they had no qualms taking a number of brand-new items, which shocked me beyond belief. To this day, I'm finding many things that were taken (IMO, stolen). Examples: brand-new shopvac, still in shipping box, an expensive large leather purse, a new sleeper-sofa that was wrapped in the delivery plastic, BUT they left the 25-yr old sofa!! Etc., etc., I've never been so disappointed and compelled to alert others of what can happen. This is the first time I truly felt I needed to write a review. read more

After the sudden loss of my Daddy I am now preparing to move my Dear Mama in with me out of state. My parents own a very large Victorian home with another residence, two duplexes and garage on the entire property. Upon checking I became overwhelmed with things that needed to be removed in order for me to show and sell this beautiful property where a friend suggested 1800 Got Junk. After reading the reviews I decided to give them a shot and I'm So Thankful I Did! Chris and Ari were the employees who conducted the removal and I couldn't say enough great thanks to the both of them! Chris and Ari were both quick, efficient, professional and courteous where I made SURE to advise their supervisor John how they are incredible assets to the company. I will be contacting 1800 Junk in the very near future where I will be requesting Chris and Ari again. Now I can continue to proceed in other things that need to be addressed. read more

Ali and D were head and shoulders above anything I expected in this service. They arrived quickly after I made my appointment ready to go. They had an upbeat attitude, were professional, and completed the task quickly. When all was said and done, they explained everything involved in closing out the work and payment, and we finished our business with absolutely no questions or issues. I think if all employees of this company are like these two, then 1-800 Got Junk will soon corner the market in this industry. Exceptional serves overall. I won't be using anyone else from here on out. Thanks! read more

Outstanding gentleman! Felt like having family over. Great prices and friendly people!

The guys who picked up a load at my house called before they came, came right on time , were very polite, and the service was reasonably priced. Both of the gentlemen wore masks. Can't ask for more than this! read more

Great team! Very professional. Wore masks and wiped their feet before entry so as not to muddy up my floor....which was very considerate since I just mopped =] read more

Had a tenant situation where they left lots of junk in the backyard and in the house. The handyman put it on the sidewalk, but did not haul away. I was left with trying to take care of the haul away myself, which could have been easily completed... if it were not for the fact that I'm in California! I read the Yelp reviews online, and decided to give them a try...before I got cited by the city (or County?) for the trash. (There was a neighbor that was getting tired of seeing the trash & was about to call the City/County about it.) When I call 1-800-got junk, they were professional, fast, and efficient. I got a time frame for when they would be out at the property, and had asked if they could also have one of the workers take before and after pictures of the work completed. They agreed, and as scheduled, the workers called me back with a quote. There was no pressure, and said that if I thought that the estimate was too high, I could just decline to have it done, and they would just be on their way. The quote was reasonable, and I opted to have it done while they were there for the estimate. A shout out and thanks to the Yelper who mentioned the 10% off AAA discount, as that came in handy! I paid by credit card after they sent me the before and after pictures when they were done. Fast, friendly, and efficient service! Will definitely use them again if needed! read more

I have used 1-800 got junk periodically for 10 yrs, most recently yesterday. They are easy to schedule and will provide a courtesy call before arriving. I cannot think of any service I use that consistently sends the most pleasant and professional employees. Very respectful of my house and property and took particular care to take care for my three cats. A little pricy but definitely worth it. read more

Listen. Micah and James with 1-800-Got-JUNK literally saved my sanity and restored my peace of mind. It's Spring cleaning season, and it's hard enough for me to sort & bag everything... so they found a way to get rid of it for me, because, Lord have mercy, it would not fit the curb. And I didn't lift a finger. You have GOT to use them to help you with ANY cleaning out project you're doing. They can even be at your house in the same day! Micah and James are friendly, respectful, and hardworking gentlemen. And they have a great (yet professional) sense of humor. They are worth every penny. What an unbelievably awesome job this team did. With only 2 hours notice on the Saturday before Labor Day, this incredible team showed up and hauled off 5 truckloads of junk from an old family home being prepared for sale. This included clearing out a full attic that was crammed floor to roof and three garden sheds that were cram packed. They also hauled off an old refrigerator from the basement and returned on Monday (Labor Day) to haul off 3 more truckloads. All of them worked fast and were extremely professional and courteous. I wish I could post pictures so that you could see what a huge job this was. They are tops in my book! read more

Worth every penny!! Very easy to set up time for pick up (I did it online), courteous, prompt and smooth. Definitely recommend this service. I had to dispose old mattress, I picked the time (2hr window) after new mattress was delivered. read more

On time & courteous!! MK & JG were very professional and polite. I will definitely use this service again!!

Make sure to book them online for the 10 dollars off. I called them at 9 am and they were able to schedule an appointment for noon the same day. Not only that, it is pouring outside today. I had 19 16ft 1x6 boards that the city would not take. The dump would charge me 44$, but I used 1800 got junk for the convenience. They were done loading the truck within 12 minutes. read more

A bit on the pricey side but I was delighted with the service. Two young, well-spoken and meticulous men showed up on time with a truck, took care of the job, had all the information they needed, etc. Took care of payment with a smartphone, received an emailed receipt within seconds. The scheduling process on the phone was also handled easily. You get a 2-hr window and they call about 1/2 hr. ahead on the day of service. If you show your AAA card you can get a discount on the total price. read more
