I never write reviews, but this one is a delight to write. I used 1-800-Got-Junk? about 15 years ago for the first time. So when it came time to empty a large storage unit, I called the company again. Rudy and Daniel were assigned to help me. First, they called a couple of hours ahead of time just to make sure that the timing still worked for me. They gave me an ETA and then called me 45 minutes ahead of time. It was raining that day, and traffic was a problem, so they called again just to let me know that they were arunning a few minutes late! This is professionalism. Next, when they arrived, Rudy and Daniel looked at everything and gave me a realistic estimate. They packed the truck and maximized the space. It was unbelievable how much stuff they packed! Not only that, by being so careful with the load, they were able to reduce the second load and saved me money as a result. Another tip of the hat to professionalism. But even more, they brought with them a great attitude and wonderful sense of humor during a stressful event for me. It was raining on-and-off, and they turned it into a pleasant experience! It's pretty hard to find people so dedicated to their work as Rudy and Daniel were. At the end, they swept the storage unit and made sure that I was happy with everything before leaving. What a great couple of guys working for a reliable and responsible company. I wish all companies worked like this one, their service was remarkable. This is our second time using 1-800-GotJunk. The first time was a good experience, but I just had the best experience with Juan and Conner. My appointment was set for early in the morning, they called to confirm my appointment but I was driving so I couldn't pick up - instead, Juan sent me a very courteous text message explaining who he was and confirming our appointment. I called back and he confirmed his window of arrival and unlike every other delivery service I've had to deal with, they were pleasantly right on time. We are moving out of state, and needed to get rid of quite a bit of stuff before the Christmas break, I was worried that we wouldn't be able to get rid of all the junk in time before any new renters came around to view the property, but they got the job done! Since we are moving out of state, we had a strict budget on what we could spend on the junk haul away, Juan was very helpful and offered to meet our needs in the best possible way. I appreciated his honestly and willingness to help. They were both so kind, and courteous and they were speedy and SUPER efficient. Phenomenal service! Sven and James rock. The GM called the night before to discuss a coupon which was really nice. The day started with a bit of mix up. My cell phone did not have reception. Sven apparently called way ahead of time but it went to my voicemail straight. It was not until I called them, which was 3 hours later that I found that that I actually had a VM from him! Without a complain, Sven and James came right back to my place. Patiently waited for my traffic route...once I was there, they were upbeat, apologized (and it was not even their fault!) and we went straight to work and until the dark. They were soooooo accommodating, give me suggestions, we talked though and strategized the whole place on what to throw away and what not do. And man, their packing skills! Really worked the space that I had purchased, nothing wasted! Once it was done, they cleaned up and sweep up and I was so relieved with an empty and workable space! My experience with this Got Junk team was great. The day before my appointment I realized I had more stuff than would probably fit in one truck. I called and spoke with Jane the owner and she assured me that they would send a second truck and whatever it took they would get it done. I was under a dead line as escrow was closing in a few days and the house needed to be emptied. Rudy, Danny and Braden arrived on time. It was brutal hot that day, but they worked diligently. We filled two trucks and there was still more. They went and emptied the loads and came back again. We ended up with three and a quarter trucks. It took six hours, but as Jane had promised they didn't leave until the job was done. Rudy was a great manager - always checking to see that we were happy with the work and his crew was getting enough water and rest in the heat. Everyone was very professional in dress and manner. If you need junk removed, 1-800-GOT-JUNK is the way to go. I used this company for the third time today and they did a great job, as always. Rudy and Kyle are terrific! I really appreciated the way Kyle contacted me to let me know the exact time of their arrival, since you book for a two-hour window and knowing 3:00 instead of 2 enabled me to run errands instead of sitting around waiting. When they arrived Rudy was careful to find out what things were to be removed, and they checked in periodically when they weren't sure about an item to avoid making a mistake. In addition to how nice and friendly they were, they did an outstanding job AFTER they had removed all the junk. There were lots of leaves and a whole lot of dirt in a corner of the driveway that we discovered once some items were removed. I was thinking about how I was going to need to clean that as I walked back into the house, but when I came back out a few minutes later, they had swept the whole driveway clean!!! This was my first time using the services of 1-800-got-Junk and it was so easy and effortless!! My husband and I are doing a garage renovation and we needed to have a bunch of things cleared out including an old wall mounted shelf, a very large and heavy shelf, old barn doors, a bunch of old wall shelves, a huge pile of wood, old tables, a couple bags of trash, and a few huge bulky items to get rid of, etc. Danny and Jedi came promptly to their appointment window and got right to work. They were both so polite and very respectful to my home carefully removing everything that I pointed out for them to take. Syl and Montonio were absolutely amazing! From start to finish, they were the epitome of professionalism. They arrived on time, greeted my sister and I with a warm and friendly attitude, and took the time to do a thorough walk-through of the space before getting started. We were cleaning our dad's apartment due to him having dementia. Considering the circumstances, they made everything so easy! Their efficiency and attention to detail were top-notch--no corner was overlooked, and they handled everything with care and precision. I've never used this service before but I was desperate because I needed to move my Big Ass 35" clunker TUBE TV and stand. This thing is extremely heavy. (Yes - they do exist) I'm a woman and even if I can get my brother or male friends to move it ....this sucker is freaking heavy. They'll be breaking their backs (Bottom line: I couldn't even give this damn thing away) So I'm happy to have found GOT JUNK. The boys (Rudy & Dustin) arrived on time and removed my items. Oh yes! They struggled. But the whole time, they were in good spirit. Rudy & Dustin were friendly and made me feel at home. The anxiety of having strangers in my home just vanished. I called 1 800 Got Junk on Thursday to make an appointment to take away a heavy piece of unwanted furniture. My inquiry was returned that day and a date and time was set for Rudy and Juan to come to do the job. The morning of the pick up I was called an hour before the time period designated and they gave me a more specific time. Rudy and Juan arrived on time and the job was done in no time even though the piece was heavy and a couple of doors had to be taken off their hinges to get it out. I'm especially happy about the work because a week before I called Junk King and got a response on my cell phone asking particulars including a picture of the piece. I then called three times asking the status of my request and only got a programmed robot response. I requested an immediate call and never heard a word from them again. read more

I am SO HAPPY with 1-800-Got-Junk, especially the two men, Fermin and Antoine, who took my junk away! Not only my junk, but many items that I wished to be donated and recycled: which is why I called this company in the first place. Fermin and Antoine were more than friendly, clean, fast and professional! They phoned me in the morning to let me know exactly when they would be at my house and were right on time. Not once, did I hear a "No" or "We can't do that" as an answer: I always got "No Problem" as a reply! And to top it all off, the cost was much better than I expected and much lower than their competitors.
