We made an appointment online to have our old mattress and boxspring picked up, but the price was not available for us until they arrived, which I thought was odd. We arranged for them to come between 11 and 1, and they showed up at 9:20. We were told it would be $150 to take away our mattress and boxspring. Price was set, not even dependant on factors like how difficult the job would be. That's absurd. The best thing about our experience was the very friendly and professional young men who came to pick up. We did appreciate that. read more

Extraordinary! I'd forgotten how hard it is to get rid of stuff. And our stuff was in pretty good shape. But thrift shops don't like to take sleeper sofas, and Habitat has trouble organizing volunteers. These folks at 1-800-Got-Junk make the entire process absurdly easy. They provided a rough estimate over the phone, a more precise estimate in person, and a no-obligation guarantee. For our efficiency, with a queen sofa bed, recliner, small table and four chairs, two wicker chairs, and a few odds and ends, our two courteous guys showed up precisely when promised, and guessed (based on how much space our stuff would take up in their truck) that the price would be under $300. We could have said "no thanks" at that point, and they'd have been on their way. But it seemed reasonable to us, so we agreed on the price, and 30 minutes later our stuff was gone! read more

the worst company i have ever dealt with total rip off i had a 3 piece living room set quoted 350.00 to place on an empty truck called a second time just think maybe the guy just misquoted me to remove a single item a mitsubishi 73 inch television quoted me 175.00 to remove the television ,i am disabled in a wheelchair on a fixed income seems a little ridiculous being i had items removed both times for free they say they recycle ,the television still worked well so some kid got it for christmas as a gaming television really sad i cringe when ever i here their ads read more

Although they did an excellent job in clearing out what I needed, I question why their prices were so high when I had a lot of furniture which could have been resold--and probably was. The last pickup was $350 although I did have a solid wood bedroom set and several solid wood tables which I'm sure they were able to sell---among smaller items that they picked up. There were boxes of books and other usable items and it's difficult to believe that they didn't resell them as well as charge me a pretty high price for hauling them away. I don't think I will use them again. read more

Great service... truck and crew arrived on time, called before showing up, hauled away lots of stuff we no longer needed, very careful to not damage walls and flooring when carrying stuff out, the price was good and they were nice guys. An excellent experience from start to finish. I had a few piles of construction debris, old fence boards, some window units and barn doors that had been replaced, and a lot of miscellaneous "junk." It had sat outside through the winter. Got Junk? came the day after I called them. The guys who came, Chris and Josh, gave me a call to let me know they were on their way. They had to maneuver their large truck into a tight area, which they did expertly. They cheerfully removed everything that I asked them to. They were very polite and friendly. All was done for a reasonable price. A lot less than what having a dumpster on my property cost me a couple of times in the past. read more

This is based on my Ocean City experience only...They truly went above and beyond to take care of me. I came up to my vacation property to get rid of some JUNK and scheduled a pick up for end of day Saturday. Unfortunately, they got held up on a job and couldn't make it. They strictly only work Monday thru Saturday but because of the inconvenience, they came out first thing Sunday morning to pick everything up, gave me a discount and repeatedly apologized for Saturday's missed pickup even though it was completely out of their control. Honestly, showing up on Sunday was more than enough; the extras where just the cherry on top. In a time when quality customer service is so hard to find, this was an outstanding example of how customer service should be provided. Things happens and often times we simply can't complete what was promised but how you follow up with your customers and value their personal time is how you get happy repeat customers.
