I placed an order. On the delivery date I got an email that the flowers were delivered (at 6:50pm) but when I spoke to the recipient there were no flowers. She checked next door and across the street as well. Nothing. I called 1-800-Flowers service. I held for an hour, then finally opted for a call back. I never got a call back. I went online and started a chat. Their robot responds right away but when it switches to a live agent the live agent never comes online. I still have that window open (2 hours now) and nobody. While tracking package was told plnt would arrive on the 25th of January. I was not able to get a refund. Was offered $20.00 off my next purchase and refund on delivery fee. I wish I could give them ZERO stars but 1 star it is. I ordered a mothers day arrangement for my mother using 1800flowers. I normally love choosing the florist choice for orders because the arrangements are usually so much better. But after ordering an EXTRA LARGE arrangement and my mother received a total of 10 flowers which included red, yellow, peach and white flowers (carnations, dahlias and roses.) After complaining to 1800 flowers it took two attempts for them to arrange for a redelivery and the flowers delivered are worse than the first order. These flowers were of better quality but they are OLD, most of the roses are welted and dry. this is totally unacceptable!! BUYERS BEWARE. Stay away from the flower shop! read more

For Yelp #800, I am reviewing 800 Flowers. Another over priced flower shop. Yippy. Awful service...I used them on 3 separate occasions and each time they forgot my order. One of the three times they offered a refund, and the other two times I had to call my credit card and tell them to block them from charging the order. Why did I have to call my credit card company? Well 800 Flowers told me that even though they did not deliver it on the day I requested, that my order was in their store and that is was going to be sent out anyways. Even when I told them that their delivery date was a day after the holiday or birthday. Just awful. read more

I never thought I'd find a worse company than a certain cable company... But 1800 flowers did it! I ordered flowers (4 weeks in advance) for my girlfriend to arrive on 2/13/15 and they never arrived! During the day they were supposed to arrive, I kept calling UPS to make sure they got to her office and kept getting the run around. You're telling me UPS can't track what truck a package is on? Give me a break. I gave it a couple days and called on Monday 2/16 to get my money back. Guy said no problem, sorry, we'll issue you a full refund and will send you an email receipt to confirm the refund. Sitting on Wednesday 2/18 with no email receipt, no refund, nothing! I call Chase and they don't see any pending credits either. So I filed a dispute with them to dispute the charge. What a headache! NEVER order from 1800flowers. WORST COMPANY EVER!!!! read more

Do not even waste your time considering this service. My boyfriend and I order a medium size flower arrangement and the arrangement received looked nothing like the item we picked. I figured it would not look exactly the same but I never expected the final result to be so disappointing. Mediocre at best. The flowers and vase were wrong. If the local flower shop did not have what we ordered they should have communicated with 1800 flowers and only sent to the recipient after it was approved. Thankfully, my boyfriend's aunt sent me a picture of the flowers and then I realized it was wrong. I called them and they offered to send a second arrangement free of charge, I agreed. What a nightmare! The manager of the local shop tried calling my boyfriend's aunt, but I had provided them with my phone number, not hers. So he ended up telling me he was there to deliver the second arrangement but also to get the first arrangement back because he wanted that vase. Sorry, why would anyone ever inconvenience the person receiving the gift? The error was done on your end. No one told me this was going to happen, had I known I would have simply asked for our money back. We went back and forth for a while and we ended up cancelling the second arrangement and a refund for the shipping was offered plus a $20 coupon for my next order. I agreed simply because I just did not have time to deal with all of this, when all we wanted was to show gratitude to my bf's aunt with a nice gesture. I got a $15 dollar coupon instead. We specifically told 1800 flowers not to contact the recipient because we did not want to inconvenience her, they attempted to call her the next day. Same lady that we dealt with on the phone. Luckily, as I mentioned above, I gave them my phone number instead of hers. In conclusion, we ended up demanding our money back. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALERT: I have been ordering Long Stem Red Roses for my mother's birthday and Mother's Day for the past 18 years. This is my first time ordering with 1-800- flower, and this was THE WORST experience ever! I almost thought I was being pranked. The 18 long stem red roses arrived three days early (which was fine), but what was in the box was nothing less than offensive (See picture attached). Three roses was broken, the leaves were wilted, and the bulbs were wide open. Indicating old roses. There were even spots of brown on the stem. I called to express my concerns, after being on hold for 1.5 hours, the representative "reordered" the flowers to be delivered on Sunday (Mother's Day). Here we are Monday, the day after Mother's Day, and they have not been delivered. Upon finding the email, confirming the reorder, I discovered she reordered 12 Daisies. I called back today to share, my mom never received the Roses and my discovery of her sending the wrong flowers. Even if they arrived yesterday, the order would have still been wrong. The representative originally offered me 25% discount on my next order. Why would I order again? I disagreed and requested a full refund for this order. I had already spent over 300.00 on the original order (ordering for other love ones). I thought the refund of this ONE order was a reasonable accommodation. After my refusal, she offered 50% off. I refused and asked for a manager. I was placed on hold for an extended period, and she returned, not with a manager on the line and stated she would credit the full amount for this order. This was an experience of a horrible product and service. My mother, who is a breast cancer Survivor, and A survivor of a burst tumor the size of an orange, who raised me and put me through college did not Deserve this kind of Mother's Day. I never had this issue with Pro-Flowers or any other flower distribution. I pray you have better luck. I would appreciate an apology from the corporate office and I urge you to look into this.
