Great Energiser smoothie here! One of the best I've had in London; perfect consistency and nice and cold for a hot summer day. It contains berries, peanut butter, oats, almond milk, flax seeds & banana! Yum! read more

This is a cute, picturesque place with some delightful pastries and a nice place to take instagram photos. I think it's mostly a check the box type of destination and it was so packed and tough to get seating which was mildly frustrating. That said, I do recommend a visit if you want to spice up your social media with nice pics. read more

This place was probably designed for maximum photo opps. From the flower wall in the back to the flowers hanging from the ceilings to the neon signs, the entire cafe is beautiful. That said, I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back. The chia seed porridge is a bit sweet. The cold brew coffee is strong and refreshing, especially if you're dealing with a bit of jet lag and unsure of what time it is. If you're in Chelsea, Elan is a great place to stop in for a quick snack. read more

We called in advance to get a reservation for two, however, we were notified that they're unable to make reservations for a party less than six. It was a Wednesday morning and we decided to test our luck. When we arrived, we were asked to wait 30 minutes! There is no waiting area, so we had to wait outside of the restaurant. The restaurant is very small and crowded! Just like everyone else, we came here for the iconic flower wall. The flower wall isn't all around the restaurant, so we considered ourselves lucky to be seated by the wall. It seemed as if, every two minutes, we were approached by customers asking if they could take a photo in our seats -- not so lucky after all! We didn't seem to mind during the first ten minutes; however, it continued even when we began eating. We asked the server if we could be arranged elsewhere, though, there weren't any tables available. If the flower wall is one of their biggest hits, I would recommend the business owner to remove the table and chair, which would allow customers to take photos as they please. We ordered a latte and a parfait. Both were average -- nothing blew me away! read more

Really cute decor and pastries. At 3 pm on a Friday, my mom and I waited 40 minutes to get a seat for 2. The queue was so long we were in front of the two other stores! Once seated, they gave us menus. Inside decor is adorable but be warned... not the entire cafe is covered in flowers. The flower wall specifically is located in the back and only has 1 table and 2 couches in front of it... so only two parties can be seated there. So I was a little disappointed. Other seats are crammed together... but the workers are very kind and quick so it made up for the lack of space. My mom got the carrot cake... sweet and delicious!!! And I got the red velvet cheesecake, less sweet compared to the carrot cake but still moist and yummy! These two were about the same level as any other cafe I've had. But what blew me away was the sweet potato fries and their dipping sauce! Loved it!!! Cafe latte was great too! And loved the latte art. Overall, I waited cause I'm not from London... definitely a worth it experience! But I wouldn't wait in the queue for the experience again. read more

We were recommended to come here on one of the tours we took so we made reservations for that same night. We arrived on time and were promptly seated in the back room. After sitting for awhile, we finally figured out we needed to download the app to order when no one came back to take our order. Our drinks took about 20 mins, which was fine, we weren't in a rush and they were really good. My food, which was the French toast came out shortly after that. It was delicious, but I was trying to wait for my husband's food to come out. After about 30 mins and my food was almost gone/cold, a man whom I assume was the manager came back and began apologizing. He stated that the kitchen was now closed and the other meal had not been made. My mind was blown at this point and I'm not sure how this could have happened when they were ordered together. We were offered some desserts, however my husband doesn't eat these kinds of things. He was left hungry for the night as many things were closed by this time. The man informed me he would not be able to do a refund since the order was done on the app, but to email and the refund of both meals would be done right away. I emailed the next day as it was already late at night. Needless to say, a week and a half later I haven't heard anything back, I haven't been called, and I don't have my refund. Very disappointing experience. read more

We waited about 30 minutes to get seated this afternoon which is expected for any place remotely cute in a big city like London. I had the mini strawberry cheesecake and ordered a cappuccino to go because I wanted their to-go cup. We tried to go to the back to see if we could take pictures but unfortunately we came at a very busy time so it didn't really pan out. I didn't try any food items so maybe next time I will stay here longer and come here earlier to beat the crowd. read more

Cute ambiance but only seems you go here for the cute pic.. we ordered a few things and it was ok. Didn't have a lot of flavor and tasted very bland. If you are checking this out I'd recommend looking at the two other tea/desert spots right next to it! They looked really cute as well. read more

Élan Cafe - Gorgeous presentation but flavor is boring and uneventful... - Cafes Near Me - London, XGL

From the minute we stepped in, service felt non-existent despite the cafe not being busy. It was a Friday mid-morning. The lady at the front counter seemed more interested in looking me up and down, judging, than doing her job. We had to seat ourselves and ask for a menu. The desserts and drinks looked so cute, that I still wanted to give this place a try despite the lack of service. Then they served my lemon cheesecake with the topper / flower missing... Why?!? If you're mainly known for your cute decor and desserts, why would you think it's acceptable to serve it this way??? My husband had to ask them to replace it with a new lemon cheesecake that was intact like the rest of the displays in the window... Overall, the dessert and latte tasted basic. Nothing special or exciting here besides the place/food being Instagrammable. With so many cute cafes and displays popping up in London, I wouldn't recommend coming here. You can get better service, views, and better tasting food and drinks somewhere else. read more

I was soooo disappointed in this cafe! It's totally different than what you think it would be from looking at Instagram. The desserts are pretty but they are overpriced and not that great. The staff was over it and not warm and friendly at all. read more

Pretty cool spot to hit up if you're close to Buckingham Palace that's a little different than other nearby cafes. Although this is now another one of those 'crazy instagram spots', it is still pretty amazing, and worth it. There is a lot of effort that goes into their meals, and pastries which is why it is also so successful. Try any of their deserts - you won't be disappointed! read more

One of the most beautiful cafes I've seen ever. I was honestly in awe of everything. The flowers, theme, ambience is our girly fantasies coming into life. Once you enter, the display of sweetness on the right makes you want to order everything all at once or at least come back to try all. They have wide array of pastries that changes constantly. It's very instablogger worthy as they have a massive flower wall in the back. Unfortunately I came for that but didn't get to experience it due to a professional photo shoot that was occurring. The lighting in the place is fantastic, the colors mesmerizing, Elan definitely is a place to check out. The food is amazing too. Pictured is the flatbread and acai bowl. The quality is exceptional and I enjoyed every minute of it. The menu was easy to read, simple. A little warning ahead of time, you have to be patient with this cafe. It's very popular, therefore crowded and of course there's a huge wait. We got lucky and was seated right away but I did observe a wait line happening. They also try to fit as much tables and chairs so it's a snug fit. There was two of us and we were seated with another two by just scooting the tables apart, there was barely any room to get up back and forth! The service was adequate, they were pleasant but was very very busy that customer service didn't match the ambience. But the place was packed, I can't imagine balancing everything there! Despite the service, the ambience and the wonderfully delicious food made it worth it. Definitely stop by Elan if you're in town! read more

The atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful, and truly a fun experience for brunch while in London. The açaí bowl was also delicious and beautiful. However, the service was quite slow and the wait for someone to come take our order was slow, as well. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal, but you are practically given 45 minutes beginning when you sit down to eat your food and leave. We felt a little rushed given the reminder that we had to get up and leave in a hurry. read more

A spot not to be missed if you have some down time to grab a tea or coffee and chill. Love all that pink!

I'd like to start off with the ambiance. The florals were beautiful. The brunch set up was aesthetically well put together. The neon sign was fun. The barista station was well positioned. The food was alright. We had the avocado toast with salmon. We also ordered the açaí bowl. The açaí consistency was actually very pleasant. The avocado toast definitely wasn't the best I've had. It was alright but the presentation was very pretty. The coffee was cold and not very tasty. My stars are basically for the presentation, the designs and the açaí bowl. read more

I was vey excited to visit Élan cafe as it's been all over my news feed. Me and my friends went there and waited about 20-30 minutes as we were told they were very busy. I completely understood. The look of the cakes and drinks were amazing. After sitting down we have ordered 4 cakes and 3 drinks. (Although we had to wait quite a bit to be served.) I thought the two lattes my friends ordered weren't that impressive BUT! The watermelon iced tea was the best thing I have ever tasted. I don't think anything ever could refresh me as pleasantly as that. It was such a satisfying feeling. The cakes tasted quite good too although some were a bit dry for me but I think it's because they aren't covered to keep their moist. Over all it was a nice experience and I would go back in a less busy time. read more

Pretty much one of the most beautiful cafes I have ever seen. If you're looking for gram worthy photos, this is your spot. Be prepared as there is a little wait to get a table since it's really popular. After leaving our names, we queued up outside in front of the other shops for a little. Inside, everything is in different shades of pink, there's a flower wall, neon signs, and a beautiful display of pastries right by the window- it's all super gorgeous! Service was okay, a little on the slow end because it's super packed and some seating is a little snug. It's a popular spot and you will see, even at night time there is a line to come. Also the cake was a little too sweet for me- I got the red velvet cake which had a tiny cute macaroon on the top. We weren't seated at the table top underneath the flowers or near the flower wall which had me a little bummed. The whole shop though is very cute. Overall, decent experience but mostly because of the ambiance. read more

Stumbled upon Elan during my first week in London and promptly fell in love. The decor is OUT OF THIS WORLD - pastel pinks, lacy flowers, and an entire rose wall in the back. This is the go-to destination for all Instagrammers! I ordered a small croissant with jam and a latte. Both were delicious, albeit small for the price. My friend got a benedict and loved it. Elan is the perfect place to brunch with girlfriends and take an aesthetic photo for your feed. It's a bit pricey, but worth it for the beautiful experience. read more

Élan Cafe is a gorgeous, easy to find cafe in a very fashionable area - only a few minutes walking distance from Harrods, Zara, and Topshop. Inside, everywhere you look is filled with absolute beauty. I fell in love with the decor and beautiful pastries on display. I ordered Alex's Coffee (which has oat milk) and the chocolate cherry cake. Both were delicious! The chocolate cherry cake slice was so decadent and rich, I had to get a to-go box because of its size. Staff are very quick and kind, I walked in and was immediately seated although the place was packed. Would highly recommend visiting this location! Will definitely come again to try their variety of salads. read more

Adorable overpriced Instagram worthy cafe bursting with lovely fake flowers all over, neon signs with catchy phrases, pink everything, and a sweet display of cakes in the window. I enjoyed the pistachio rose cake, although it didn't taste of rose in the slightest. And my matcha latte was nice. 3.5 stars for food 5 for ambiance read more

This place was on my list to visit while in London, and as soon as I walked in, the staff treated us like royalty! Everyone was so kind and and the server politely whispered to me that I get the special table in the back room which my fiancé said is the influencer room (see photos) lol. It is the best room in the cafe, however for both of us it did get a little annoying to see the Instagram influencers order food, moving tables and furniture next to our table just to take 1,000 photos of the food and themselves and leave. I truly wanted to enjoy the cafe as I appreciate the decor and creative menu. The food was very good, the ruby latte was delicious, my guy enjoyed his food and mocha. We did overhear some drama with a customer and what was perceived to be the manager arguing over the customers stolen jacket. Besides that, everything was pleasant! read more

Dirty!!!! The entire cafe is dirty! If you went here or are planning to go here, don't wear your finest clothes. Take a close look at the chairs. Disgusting! The floor is so dirty as well! The food is okay. The staff is unprofessional. No service. The staff just talks amongst themselves. This place looks so good on instagram. Its a Trap!! They put a few neon quotes on the wall, and made a flower wall, and they are taking in all these customers, but offering nothing of value. Big mistake going here read more
