Save your money and skip this place…read more The games felt completely rigged, and the experience left a bad taste in our mouths. We managed to grab a plushie that was literally hanging by its tag and should have fallen into the prize chute, but the staff refused to give it to us. That was incredibly frustrating after spending money trying to win it. Arcade and claw machine games are already difficult enough, but when it feels like the rules change whenever someone is about to win, it's hard to have any confidence in the games or the business. Would not recommend. There are plenty of better ways to spend your time and money in Hong Kong.

I was warned that this place is small, so I know not to expect the two storey high gigantic backdrops I've seen before. The museum is actually not as tiny as I expected, but the backdrops are really small. They should find a building with taller space, and expand the drawings a few feet each way. Right now you have to be very careful not to include the outside area and the spot lights in your photos. Also, the low ceiling means that the light makes the seams between floor and walls more obvious. Another disappointment I have is that there are only a few scenes that are Hong Kong related. Otherwise it's over 90% related to One Piece. For people who are not anime fans, this just isn't very interesting. They seem to change their artworks regularly, many of the photos I saw in the reviews are no longer around. Nonetheless, we still have fun, and there is a nice guy who goes around showing us how to pose (he also snap pictures which hopefully you'll buy from him but there isn't much pressure.) Some scenes posted a sample pics to give you an idea how to post but unfortunately a lot of them don't have one and left us rather clueless as to where we are supposed to stand. The 4 stars here is a bit generous but I do want this place to succeed and improve and see similar businesses opening up. You do need to have friends to go with you. And better some friend who's a perfectionist, instead of just pressing the shutter, to advise you where to stand, how to pose, and don't mind stepping around a bit to get at the perfect angle for the best effect. Useful tips: - they have lockers available but charge for it. - wear jeans/shorts but not dresses and skirts which are less gravity defying. - if you go on your birthday with a friend, it's $149 for two instead of $128 each.
Ahh so fun!!! Came here with my dad because he was the best at taking pics (girl gotta get that…read moreinsta pic right??) and surprisingly, we both had a great time!! They changed some of their pictures when I went (for example there wasn't a water wing) but it was still a great experience. They have different sections such as an area for One Piece and another one for HK lifestyle. There's an area where the place gets a bit crowded but I didn't care much for those backdrops so I just skipped ahead. We made two rounds around the place before leaving and it wasn't overwhelmingly long :) Came on a Saturday afternoon too! But...a huge crowd came in right after we left so thank god we left!

But this one, K11 Art Mall on Hanoi Road, is much more our style. It is very close to the MTR train station and stays open every day from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The mall has 7 floors, 5 above ground and 2 below. It is not like a regular, boring mall. It mixes shopping with cool stuff everywhere. The stores are perfect for younger people. We saw a lot of local streetwear, cool pop-up markets, and unique designer clothes. They even have a Pop Mart store inside, which we loved! The food areas are great for a casual meal, and the whole place feels very new, modern, and clean. We had a great time here and highly recommend it!

Apparently, everyone in Hong Kong is obsessed with "Labubu" right now? There were swarms of people specifically looking for those. I admit, I was a little overwhelmed at first because there are just too many choices. Wall-to-wall blind boxes, big figurines, and so many different collab characters I couldn't even keep track of. It took a minute to navigate through the crowd, but we finally picked out a really cute one for her (fingers crossed she doesn't have it yet!). If you're shopping for gifts, this is definitely the spot, just be prepared to squeeze through some serious crowds! Pros: Insane selection, super cute displays. Cons: You need sharp elbows to get to the shelves!

I took a taxi up here during the mid-autumn holiday weekend. Took my partner and I about an hour to do the loop and took some incredible photos while we were at it. I highly recommend doing this vs. the peak tower because its what the local does and it feels much less touristy and more quiet.

Lots of runners in the morning, and depending on the time of day the breeze is super good up there. Not much else to say except to see it yourself. It's pretty nice for a hike.

The experience was incredibly educational for my daughters, helping them gain a deep understanding of Hong Kong's history and its various periods of development. At the same time, walking through the exhibits provided a wonderful trip down memory lane for me, bringing back old memories of growing up in Hong Kong. I was actually surprised to learn that many of my local friends had never visited this place. After I highly recommended it to them, they all went and thoroughly enjoyed it.
