Famous for it's chicken hot pot which is actually a half or whole chicken broiled for the broth. You can eat the tender juicy chicken pieces first before proceeding to add your other hot pot items. Unlike America hot pot, there is no sauce to be made. Whatever you cook in the pot takes on the flavorful taste of the broth. You order ala carte and can share one pot between 4 people if you like or one pot per 2 people. A must try is the fried fish skin, simple dip in the broth and immediately consume while it's still crunchy. Not many Americans order this in the states but I heard its quite popular and common in HK. The broth is very condensed and thicker than your typical soup, waiter will come refill soup quite frequently which is always appreciated. While I would return for its novelty and uniqueness, my taste buds and habits miss the sa cha sauce with scallions in typical hotpot. read more
