My husband and I traveled to the Fortress Hill area today to seek out InnoVeggie for lunch.
Upon entering, it pops out that the place seems larger than the average Hong Kong restaurant, is bright, sunny and has an open feel with its high ceilings and white walls, The place looks like a Williams-Sonoma tasting kitchen. Wooden topped farm-like tables, mismatched chairs, funky vintage pieces about.
We had a their set lunch option, which included a small welcome app, homemade vegetable soup (with real veggies and a hearty consistency), entree or choice (we consumed the eggs and shrimp scramble & their stir fried veggie dish) and a drink. We also enjoyed one extra a la carte item of sweet and sour tofu. Total bill for two for lunch was $188HKD. The stir fried veggie dish was probably the best of the lot we consumed.
Let me also highlight that the bathrooms were clean, spacious and very clean as well (kind of something to be noted in a city of tiny tiny restrooms!)
The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was professional and friendly. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. We thought this was a good find and really reasonably priced for what we received to our table. With so many check boxes ticked on what we like from a restaurant, we would not hesitate to go back if we were in the area again. read more
