The food here is mostly self serve and you better know what you want because they aren't exactly the most patient people when you go up to them. But you can ask the servers to get you the tea that you want. The clientele is 90% old people which you might have to share a table with; which is just the HK way. There are 2 different locations where you get the food; one where you get the baos and the pan fried items and the other is where the steam table is. The steam table is really a hit or miss since sometimes they will have the item you want and other times you might have to wait for it to cook. The cha sui baos here are good, both the regular baked and pineapple cha sui. The pepper with ground fish meat will be spicy for most people. Har Gow was better than the shrimp cheung fun. They also have rice bowls with meat on top which you pour on your own soy sauce, thats a cheap way to get full.

Sweet and sour pork - execution is not bad since sauce just coats the meat. Taste is also ok Black bean razor clam - only 6 pieces?? Seems like such a rip off. Flavor is not bad. Just as expect with touristy areas claiming to be seafood stalls - mediocre food with higher prices.

I had about an hour left before the ferry and was trying to squeeze in a quick meal. They have sets but I just wanted an alacarte and they suggested the steamed prawns with garlic. It was sooo good. The seafood was fresh and covered in delicious garlic and scallions. Underneath, there is vermicelli to catch all the steamed prawn goodness. For $28 USD it was a bit pricey for HK standards but not bad for how large the portion was. Was it unique to the island? I don't know... maybe , maybe not. But it's nice to sit outside and stare at the sunset over the ocean and eat seafood.
