We had no reservations and were promptly seated at a window four-seater which faced the glorious skyline of Hong Kong. The menu had lots to choose from, including a four-course generic menu. I like how they had a dedicated vegetarian menu section in the back of their main menu too. The male staff informed us that all drinks were 15% off that night. The drink I had was a white beer called Bianca Lancia, a pure malt ale brewed with organic barley and wheat malts. It has "a fresh and fruity taste, a low bitterness, and is slightly acid with a thick creamy and adherent head". It won the European beer of the year in 2016, the China beer awards in 2016 and is 100 per organic and made in Italy. The server poured the bottle table side into a long-stemmed beer glass. It was orange in flavour and easy to drink. It didn't taste too bitter either as the description claimed. The Bone Marrow with Escargots appetizer took forever to come (approx 26 mins for it to arrive). That's too long to wait for the first course when there weren't even that many guests in the restaurant. Nevertheless, it was a terrific appetizer. Escargot and bone marrow are two of my favourite appetizers, so to see them together on one platter was a dream. The escargots were lined up carefully along the bone marrow with three crispy toasts and salad on the side. A small spoon was provided for us to scoop the marrow onto the crisps to eat. The bone marrow was ample and just fat enough to be delicious. The crispy toast was SO good. The escargots didn't have a lot of flavour. I guess the best way to eat escargots is still baked with garlic in a dish. Our first main course was the Stuffed Cannelloni with Ricotta Cheese & Wagyu Beef. The wagyu definitely caught my eye, and I wanted some Italian cannelloni which led to this pick. After receiving it and eating it though, I realized that the wagyu beef was a bit wasted since it was actually contained within the cannelloni itself. You couldn't taste the pureness of the wagyu beef which misses the point of having wagyu versus any other kind of beef. The stuffed cannelloni was drowned in a pool of thick tomato sauce. The tomato sauce was actually not sour at all and a good consistency. I cleaned it all up. It was so delicious. The cannelloni was tasty and easy to eat. The second main course was served about 18 mins after the first one -- again, it felt like a long wait. This second dish was the Miso Glazed Black Cod with Daikon in Dashi. Black cod is such a common item in fancy restaurants and it was done well here too. The strip of black cod sat on top of two daikon columns with the dashi soup all around it. The black cod came away in flakes and was thoroughly well cooked. It was slightly sweet due to the miso glaze on top. The daikon was smooth and the dashi broth was clear and tasty. It would have been nice for this dish to be accompanied with some carbs like rice or noodles... but then again I understand that fancy restaurants do not pair their dishes like this. Usually, the feature item is a standalone. We ordered a dessert, the Flamin' Chocolate Fireball. This didn't take long to arrive and was an experience worth filming. The server brought forward the platter of the chocolate ball surrounded with diced up fruits. She then had a serving cup of flames that she poured on to the chocolate ball. I love dessert experiences like this. The chocolate ball was on fiyah! The server told us that the dessert was ready to be eaten once the flames started to die down. The flames licked around the chocolate sphere and melted it to reveal white vanilla ice cream underneath. The quality of this dessert was obvious. The chocolate was rich and also a bit bitter, signalling true quality dark chocolate. I actually liked the refreshness of the plain vanilla ice cream to cut up the bitterness and strong chocolate flavours. Some of the chocolate ball stuck on to the plate after everything had melted down. It was a really good quality chocolate dessert and a feast for the eyes. Overall, the portions of the food at Sky 726 weren't very big and so we were just satisfied enough. To feel filler, we could have ordered another main course or appetizer. Nevertheless, this was a really cool experience to be able to dine on the 25th floor and overlook Nathan Road and the rest of Hong Kong. The skyline was gorgeous with all the sparkling lights. Because of the unique views and romantic atmosphere, Sky 726 Kitchen and Bar is the perfect restaurant to enjoy a New Year's Eve dinner, holiday dinner, or special occasion. At the time of our visit in November, the staff had already decorated the restaurant in full Christmas and holiday gear.

Not especially exciting dish but done pretty well. The salmon is served on a piece of toasted bread and topped with greens. The greens were a bit too much and could have used a bit more salt. Overall still pretty tasty. The French chicken dish is a signature dish and I can see why. You get too pieces of chicken served over mashed potatoes with asparagus. This dish is really delicious. I will come back here just to order this. Chicken is really tender and juicy and the asparagus is cooked perfectly as well. For dessert I had the apple tart. This is ok and wouldn't really recommend. Really loved the enormous red cheese slicer that was used to shave our Grana Padano on the charcuterie platter, the stand outs of the evening were the gravadlax-- lovely and smoky served simply with a bit of creme fraîche and toasted baguette as well as the most wonderfully cooked lamb chops that were perfectly seasoned. Other than the mutton at Bowrington Road's Hot Food Centre this is probably the best lamb dish I've had in HK thus far. Full bar was there, but I only had wine. To roundup: Great concept, awesome service and decent pricing scheme. I'm a fan!

I remember liking the place, but was only ever here for drinks. I guess forgetting about this place has a lot has to do with the restaurants location, being nowhere close to anywhere I usually frequent. Recently wanted to eat something in Price Edward because I rarely ever go there, and I found this old friend on Yelp! Came here on a Saturday afternoon, and was surprised how packed this place was. Even though we arrived at a time after the usual lunch rush (around 2pm) we still had to wait a good 30 mins. I really like the decor in this place. The restaurant is plastered with travel-theme everywhere. Such as posters, items, and souvenirs all around. I wonder if the owner actually collected all these items on their travel? Anyway, its very cool to see a little part of the world every corner you look. In the middle of the restaurant there's also a mini stage, which I guess musicians perform at on certain days. On the corner seats, there's a big tv showing videos of the performers. Overall, the vibe of this restaurant is very nice. For the food, they have a decent variety of western food available. We ended up trying the cheese shrimp pasta and the chicken yogurt pita sandwich. We ordered these because its a little different than another typical western restaurant. The pasta was pretty good! Not overly cheesy. But I was disappointed with the pita. The sandwich was just way too bland, and the mini salad that came with it was also bland. Both meals were lunch sets which included a drink and bread + soup. The bread and soup were both decent. Although Alchemist Cafe is a little out of the way for me normally, I think I will return some more in the future to try some of their other dishes.

Luckily for me, the L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Hong Kong is 3 Michelin stars and also affordable (relative to its reputation). I decided to come here for lunch with my wife as my first ever 3 Michelin star experience. I reserved a lunch reservation about a month in advance. The restaurant is very romantic and fancy. We were seated at a bar style counter, and we were escorted to our seats. The staff were all very attentive. Many were multi-lingual in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. We ended up each ordering the lowest cost lunch tasting menu with one amuse bouche, one appetizer, one soup, one entree, and a dessert. We also each got a drink. I got a mocktail with lychee and mint which was an amazing palate cleanser between courses. The amuse bouche was a cracker with uni on top. The uni was very soft like Hokkaido uni and the cracker went well with the soft texture of the uni. We had a complimentary bread basket with a variety of different breads, all of which were amazing. I loved the croissants. For my own appetizer I chose the salmon caviar. I've never had that much caviar in my life in one sitting, it was amazing. My wife got the yellowtail carpaccio which was also amazing. The soup was a mushroom style soup with foam and a single matsutake mushroom. Soup was savory, rich, and a delight to the senses. We both got the pigeon entree. I'd never had pigeon before, my wife did but said she did not like it before. She loved this pigeon though, which was cooked slightly on the rarer to medium rare side. The pigeon was super soft. It was also wrapped with foie gras which made it decadent and rich. For dessert I chose coffee and also the coffee ice cream dessert with gelato, coffee crumble, and coffee jelly. Super rich but quite tasty. The coffee also came with a variety of small sweet snacks. Joel Robuchon truly lived up to its hype, and was well worth the cost. I will definitely come back.

The cake layer distribution in the new cube version is just now as good as the dome version. There are more cream than cake/chocolate ball crunch ratio. It is still good, I just prefer the dome version. I also tried their green tea red bean roll cake and that is not my cup of tea. Speaking of tea, I also tried their latte. Not my cup of tea again. It is below average for a latte drink. I mean it is better than Starbucks (and way better than McDonalds), but not up to the average latte level for a coffee shop. I could hand whisk a latte better than theirs, and given they have the machine... I have higher expectations. BTW I have been there 3 times during my Hong Kong visit, and by the 3rd time, they have a promotion where basically the drink combo is like HKD$20 cheaper (roughly). Not a driving force for me to buy their drink. I will opt'ed for the drink downstairs instead. Service is great. I will return.

We came here on a Tuesday night celebrating my friend's birthday. It was such an excellent dining experience! First thing I've got to say is the service here is above and beyond. From the head chef @willy_cuisinier, the staffs that took care of us, everyone was so nice and caring. The food was amazing too. We both ordered the ten courses from the omakase menu and the wine pairing. My favorite dishes are the Uni Lobster, Sakana and all the desserts!!! Basically every dish has the components I look for. And all the ingredients taste fresh. Plus the platings are gorgeous too every dish is so unique and creative. ------------------------------------ 1st course - Japanese Tomato 4/5 It's very refreshing starter. It comes with the granita and the jelly on the bottom. All of the flavors worked so well with the tomato. 2nd course - Caviar 4/5 Japanese Yam, marusho rice vinegar, Caviar. It was very nice indeed. Soft and delicate. 3rd course - Aubergine 4/5 Very beautiful presentation and it was tasty with the nori sauce. And it goes very well with the sake! 4th course - Sakana 5/5 The fish was cooked at its perfection, so soft and juicy with full of taste. One of the tastiest pieces of fish I had ever eaten. And the broth so good that you wanted to soak it up with anything available. 5th course - Japanese Sweet Onion 3/5 The sweet onion was good. The dumpling broth was light not too heavy and creamy. 6th course - Lobster (+$178 add Uni) 5/5 Add Uni is a MUST if you're an UNI fan like me!! Believe me it was worth every penny. The whole dish was very satisfying and mouth watering. So fresh. And it had perfect texture and delightful flavors. It's like an explosion in your mouth. Main courses - Guinea Fowl and Wagyu Beef A4 (+$228) 4/5 I really like the French chicken with the harissa sauce and grape jam. It was flavorful, juicy and tender. The subtle flavor of this dish is so comforting. And the Saga Wagyu beef was cooked on point and very juicy as well. Loved the nori as well. Both dishes paired very well with the Merlot. Dessert - Momo 5/5, Chocolate 5/5 , Miso 5/5 I can't even pick my favorite. I don't really like sweets but I loved all these. They were incredible and tasty. Momo, a peach dessert with candied hibiscus and roses. Sour and sweet. Great paired with the complimentary liqueur peach. Thank you! Chocolate, loved this magical pairing of three different types of matcha and chocolate. It's really pair well together, making for a slightly nutty, sweet, and bitter combo. Miso, White Chocolate Shiso Choux. I ate so many Choux cream puffs before. But this was so delicious! The filling for this Choux is to die for! Hahahaha Loved every dish and can't wait to come back here again!! Service (Excellent service) Ambience (the decor is beautiful, chic, modern, relaxing) Food (Incredible, delicious)
