All this is at extremely reasonable prices (Consider the nearby malls will charge you probably double for exactly the same items). Selection is fairly complete although Park 'N Shop has many more items available (and is a lot larger) and some special medicinal items aren't carried here (but you can find those at Watson's). Those used to shopping in North American convenience stores like 7-11 or Circle-K will definitely appreciate the low prices and good selection available at Wellcome.

These stores are 24 hour convinent stores which are perfect for us when we would always load up on the H2O or the Vitamin J. In the store, they designed it in a way where they would put as much fresh products as they can, but going through the narrow aisles can be quite a challenge. Thankfully, there is a security guard who also helps out for the store in case where we would wonder where the bottled mineral water was. We also had to load up on the instant noodles and other provisions in case one of us was hungry I wish places in Canada had a store like this because for some reason, having an emergency convinent store like this can help in case something happens to someone.

In 2017, it moved to the Asia Standard Tower lower level. Super easy to find on Pottinger Street, right off of Queens Road Central (same street side as Top Shop and to the left of its front entrance). Just walk down the short flight of stairs from the street and you will see A&M US Groceries straight ahead. Think Costco and Sam's from the US here in Hong Kong. Loads of Kirkland brands, many US items you might be craving and cannot ever find, sold in bulk. The main difference here is that you will pay a hefty price for your goods (there has to be a consequence of finally finding all those great Costco items here in Asia!). The main items I buy from here are olive oil, certain chips and Damp Rid. High price or not, I often find myself in A&M US Groceries glutinously savoring the aisles and craving the simple pleasure of browsing retail that I do not really need.

We went on a Wednesday evening and spent hours looking at the food, snacks, makeup and we bought tons of stuff. My son got a Kirby wrist band and plenty of kirby figurines. I got some Kuromi stuff and some adorable kuromi face sponge too. And we ended our night with some fresh and delicious sushi. Throughout the store they play this catchy and fun song. You can't get it out of your head the entire night. Service was fast and can't complain even though not the friendliest but I will definitely return.

Shopping in Hong Kong…read more.. We didn't know what kind of store 360° was, so we went in. I wouldn't say that it's just a convenience store because it had a bit more merchandise than just grab and go snacks. There were cookies, Candies, and 3 in 1 coffee packets. I was surprised to see marshmallows with Brown from Line Friends. I had to get it for Kathy H.! LOL! We looked in another 360° and found Brown marshmallows, but no Cony... Sad... Haha! This store was a bit crowded with narrow aisles, customers, and staff restocking the shelves. It was an educational experience!

Snacks galore…read more.. There's something about it that satisfy any type of issues that you're hungry, anxious or just a craving. Here they have just about any type of fun items and though it's not massive it's a lovely place to find something that even the local convenience store won't have. Staff here is always busy restocking items as there is a lot to see and what a fun place to explore what Hong Kong along with various other countries together share the same love of snacking. Even though I like a traditional market, I can't deny my love for supermarkets. Well, nice ones…read more Among closest ones to my place are also some ParknShops and Wellcomes (these last ones always funnily smelling of durians...). They are tiny, underground and a little crappy. For a quick purchase they're fine but if I'm shopping for the week or I'm after something especial, I head to Taste in Hopewell Centre. It's conveniently located on my way from work so it's usually in the evening when you can find me there. It's the only Taste supermarket in the North part of the Island (the other one being in Stanley), it opens early in the morning (8am) and has parking space. Right now it's undergoing renovation, but you can still shop as normal. They are relocating a take away area (sushi, sandwiches, salads, bakery and hot food) on the first floor with the main supermarket underground. It's big enough that you can find pretty much everything - there is a butchery, a cheese counter, a fresh fish counter, plenty of fruit and vegetables (and some of them cheaper than at wet markets I'm afraid), a shelf devoted to organic and locally grown veggies, a LOT of dairy products, a LOT of frozen foods...and on the other side there are the canned foods, bakery, nuts, drinks, etc., pretty much you can think of. There's even an area for alcoholic drinks and in the main aisle you can find especial offers. If you need something for your kitchen say, a pot or a pan, they also have an aisle just for that. Price wise, I still buy some goods elsewhere because they are better and cheaper: nuts and fish, for example, but they have excellent grass-fed beef from New Zealand (branded Greenlea) and some frozen veggies that I use for specific dishes. Avoid weekends, as in any given supermarket really.

The store also has most items you would expect from a gas station store, but more, it's almost like some of the "Truck Stop" stations in the States where they sell, small appliances that can be used in a vehicle etc. Also there is a Car Wash, a discount will be given if you fill up at the station, if not you will be paying full price (HK$110.00) for a premium wash, which is not bad at all. Even though, this is an automatic car wash, but there is an attendant doing a prewash and dry up before and after! So, if you ever are in the area, come by and enjoy this clean and spacious Esso Gas Station!!
