it's nice to have an supermarket in the area, something more sizable than a convenience store…read more situated in the basement level, one can easily miss the narrow entrance (and/orvexit). understandably, full size carts are not available; only the frame of the mini carts where one can put baskets in to hold items. narrow aisles filled with limited selections on items, but one would find the most basic necessities from food and snacks to cleaning products. great for hotel guests next door who might need to restock on personal items and such. the produce section is sad -- basic supply and demand -- but it's there. in a city where not much veggies are served with your meals unless ordered separately, it's good to have some fruits on hand, if you are tempted to buy them. couple of fruit stores within a stone's throw, so if nothing catches your eye, move on. "just grateful it is there" kind of deal, and pricing is not outrageous given it's right in the heart of the city. if this one doesn't suit your shopping needs, there's a Wellcome 1.5 blocks away on Chatham Rd S.

Of course, I found it! This place is equal to cross between Whole Foods and Bristol Farms in CA. You'll be sure to find exclusive items you can't find elsewhere. Of course, it comes with an equally impressive price tag. My Maldon Salt cost the same as it would had I gotten it from a specialty store in SoCal such as The Butchery. I was just super psyched to have found it. Other things I like to get from here include: herbal tea and olive oil.

EXCEPT, the lady at the floral section - she's the nicest one. =) Anyway, I love coldcuts and they do meat coldcuts but they don't do cheese coldcuts. Minor detail...but it matters to me. They do have a good selection of produce. I've seen a couple worms in some of the produce, so just be really choosy. I'd just stick to produce that is sealed shut from the company. Shop are tightly, clean and bright. Easy checkout either with self service or cashier service. It's located in the lower level of K11 mall and right next to the hotel I stayed. Jasmine. Pu-erh. Red tea. Chrysanthemum. A great souvenir. Grab some snacks. Mooncakes. Rice treats. Wife biscuits. Dragon candy. Biscuits. So interesting to try to figure out what we were bringing back home. Surprised to see a shelf filled with American Old El Paso Taco Shells and seasoning and Cholula Hot Sauce. Fruits and veggies looked great. Grab a cold Hong Kong Milk Tea to go. Always fun to shop at local grocery stores for treats to bring back home.

Well, nice ones…read more Among closest ones to my place are also some ParknShops and Wellcomes (these last ones always funnily smelling of durians...). They are tiny, underground and a little crappy. For a quick purchase they're fine but if I'm shopping for the week or I'm after something especial, I head to Taste in Hopewell Centre. It's conveniently located on my way from work so it's usually in the evening when you can find me there. It's the only Taste supermarket in the North part of the Island (the other one being in Stanley), it opens early in the morning (8am) and has parking space. Right now it's undergoing renovation, but you can still shop as normal. They are relocating a take away area (sushi, sandwiches, salads, bakery and hot food) on the first floor with the main supermarket underground. It's big enough that you can find pretty much everything - there is a butchery, a cheese counter, a fresh fish counter, plenty of fruit and vegetables (and some of them cheaper than at wet markets I'm afraid), a shelf devoted to organic and locally grown veggies, a LOT of dairy products, a LOT of frozen foods...and on the other side there are the canned foods, bakery, nuts, drinks, etc., pretty much you can think of. There's even an area for alcoholic drinks and in the main aisle you can find especial offers. If you need something for your kitchen say, a pot or a pan, they also have an aisle just for that. Price wise, I still buy some goods elsewhere because they are better and cheaper: nuts and fish, for example, but they have excellent grass-fed beef from New Zealand (branded Greenlea) and some frozen veggies that I use for specific dishes. Avoid weekends, as in any given supermarket really.

Shopping in Hong Kong…read more.. We didn't know what kind of store 360° was, so we went in. I wouldn't say that it's just a convenience store because it had a bit more merchandise than just grab and go snacks. There were cookies, Candies, and 3 in 1 coffee packets. I was surprised to see marshmallows with Brown from Line Friends. I had to get it for Kathy H.! LOL! We looked in another 360° and found Brown marshmallows, but no Cony... Sad... Haha! This store was a bit crowded with narrow aisles, customers, and staff restocking the shelves. It was an educational experience!

Snacks galore…read more.. There's something about it that satisfy any type of issues that you're hungry, anxious or just a craving. Here they have just about any type of fun items and though it's not massive it's a lovely place to find something that even the local convenience store won't have. Staff here is always busy restocking items as there is a lot to see and what a fun place to explore what Hong Kong along with various other countries together share the same love of snacking. Then come to discover that Tesco is one of the world's largest retailers (on-line and retail outlets) that sells discounted products around the world. I think it started in England, but dont hold me to that. My regular Fusion grocery is right around the corner from this U Select location (which has two addresses, because it can be accessed from inside the Food Center entrance off Queen's Road or as I did from the street off Bonham Strand), so I thought I would check it out. This spot is not as extensive as a regular grocery, meaning that you will find stuff, but maybe a limited selection. For example, you can find olive oil and they sell it at a discounted price, but there are only two brands. Or if you are looking for cottage cheese, they did not have it, but they have lots of cheese or dairy items (maybe sometimes they have it and sometimes they do not). They do sell wine, fruits and veggies and dairy. They have a frozen section and household goods too. You do see the Tesco brand throughout the store. The store is set up as one one long space with two aisles. It is organized and clean, but not bursting with options.. I bought a package of blueberries from Chile for $19HKD and a bottle of French Pinot for $115HKD. Both a bargain, but they did not have the other stuff I needed, so I still went to Fusion around the corner.

I also love that they have lots of cut up fruits to choose from, which is convenient for tourists. The website said they open at 9am but they were already opened when I walked past at 8am. And they have applepay, which is not too common in HK. They are located in the basement level of Isquare and is only 1 level above the mtr station.

It's located in the IMALL ISQUARE BASEMENT. I need all the calcium n probiotics I can get but just don't like American yogurt or worse yet Greek pasty yogurt, I fell in love w coconut yogurt Meiji in Tokyo n was thrilled they had it righthere in this market, happy cows! Lol they also have apple yogurt that Europe no longer made dunno why not it's the best tasting ever. We bought fruits all so fresh, they have VN dragon fruit $3.50 each! I have them bigger so plentiful at home I gave them to neighbors. This amazing market is like an oasis in the big city, I'm a tourist n love to hang out here buying junk food snacks like curry chips fr Indonesia they were very good. Highly recommended 5 stars.
