Carefully peel it off the steamer with a spoon underneath in case you burst the dumpling so won't lose the soup. Bite a small hole in the dumpling and blow in it because it is very hot. Then, slurp up the soup and savor the dumpling. Eat it with your eyes closed and dream of fairies dancing on Mount Emei in a sea of clouds.... Also, be sure to order the rice roll wrapped around a crispy fried bread stick with shrimp inside. I don't know how they do it because when you steam a rice roll, the bread stick inside will get soggy. They must've fried the crispy bread stick with shrimp inside, then wrapped the steamed rice roll around it afterwards. The rice roll must've been cooked separately. It is soft outside because of the rice roll, then crunchy inside, but with a savory shrimp center. Atmosphere (**** out of *****); Average large Hong Kong restaurant. Service (***** out of *****); The waitresses will check up on you often. This is unusual for a Hong Kong restaurant. Most of them just take your order and then drop off food. However, the waitresses here are unusually service oriented. As a result, I usually tip them 20% instead of the usual 10% customary here in Hong Kong. Conclusion (***** out of *****); The tally is 5 stars due to the exquisite food and crazy low prices. They always have different specials every month with half price dishes. Also, certain times of day has special priced dishes, too. There's no English menu so be sure to bring a Chinese speaking friend. It is worth the commute across the harbor to dine here. Their dumpling and rice roll dishes are even better than the legendary Michelin starred Tim Ho Wan (添好運點心專門店). Bon apetit ;0)

In contrast, Victoria Harbor served me a delightful hot goose with very little fat under the crispy skin. The flesh was moist, moderately soft, and tasty. Yung Kee will only serve their best geese to their VIP diners. Victoria Harbor, in contrast, will serve the exact same high quality geese to ALL their diners. Atmosphere (**** out of *****); Average large Chinese restaurant. Service (** out of *****); Because they can get really busy sometimes, their staff might be overwhelmed at times. Sometimes, you get good service, but other times, you get poor service and have to flag down the waiter for everything. Conclusion (**** out of *****); For excellent roast goose with O.K. service in a large Chinese restaurant, go to Victoria Harbor. P.S. They do not have an English menu, so bring along a Chinese speaking friend unless all you want to do is order the roast goose, "Seew Gno."

Food was above average, hints the two stars, but nothing was spectacular, hints the two stars. If you are wanting something special go to a place that specializes in that one dish. This place was good but nothing wowed me especially after seeing the bill. Would I return? Only and seriously only if a large group was torn between various types of protein. I'm pretty good and convincing people where we should eat so I'd like to think this place was one and done.

Food (**** out of *****); Fish ball flat rice noodle soup has the best quality fish balls. The chef…read morereally spent a lot of time, skill, and effort making the fish balls springy, airy, and they just literally bounce in your mouth. These would be the best fish balls flat rice noodle soup in the world except that the fish balls are a bit too salty and the broth is bland, almost flavorless. I would give it one star, except it feels wrong to do so to a restaurant that makes such high quality fish balls. If your palette enjoys salty food, then put a dash of salt in the broth so that it matches the fish balls and you will think that this is the best fish ball flat rice noodle soup in the world. Otherwise, I would only recommend that you come here if you're in the neighborhood. It's not worth crossing the harbor for it. Atmosphere (*** out of *****); Typical Hong Kong Tea restaurant with simple booths and spartan decor. Service (*** out of *****); You pay and place your order at the cashier and the cashier gives you a receipt. You drop off your receipt with the chef at the open kitchen and when they call your number, you pick up your food from the chef. there are no waiters. There is no English menu. just say, "Yu dahm fun," pay your 28HKD, then stand right there at the open kitchen to await your meal because if you don't know Chinese, then you won't know when they call your number. Conclusion (**** out of *****); The tally is 3 stars, but I gave it an extra star for value because it is so inexpensive. If you don't like salty food, then the tally is only 3 stars.
