When to go: Any week night the place is dead. Crowd: Mostly alcoholics then after 2AM, those trying to still find a special friend to go home with or convince to go home with that they brought. So, not really a pick up bar. Type: It's an older crowd. How to go: Kinda like Vegas or Macau, bring a limited amount of cash and order bottles. If you order cocktails, the bar men will make up prices and the more hammered you are, the higher the price. So set your limits. What I found that I didn't like about this bar is that it was very smoky - typical at local bars. People all over were smoking, i actually felt my lungs getting darker as i was sitting there. You will also find that this is not a place for a quiet chat or classy night out- its straight forward in terms of a grotty local bar that's cheap and convenient- its not pretending to be anything its not which is part of its charm. Delicious and cleverly crafted beverages, but especially or only if you enjoy gin, specifically gin & tonics. That's the menu: all G&Ts. Lots of Spanish gin. I wish they had more seasonal flavors in their menu, maybe like a summery peach, lychee twist, or mangosteen punch, just something besides the classic citrus-flavor profiles. It was a solid G&T, but a bit pricy for HK$130. A few friends in the group ordered some food, but the verdict was just so-so. Someone in my group had accidentally knocked my half-empty glass over, causing it to spill and break into pieces on the floor. The staff were quick to react, clean up and carefully remove any glass residue on the floor.
