Anyway, with all that aside, this mall is an experience just because it is designed with such beautiful interior aesthetics. Really, I believe anyone would enjoy just wandering around and seeing the beautiful things in here. I did -- and I didn't even buy anything. The food court on the bottom level is also fairly good. Of course the shopping is next-level too--Chanel, LV, Dior, Hermès, all the big names under one roof (or connected roofs lol). Feels extra fancy strolling around with the holiday decor everywhere. I really thought the entire building was owned by the Sincere Family . . . WRONG. Confused as I was . . . I didn't realize Sincere House and Dragon Hostel are two separate Guest Houses located within the same building; however, each business has their own separate floor levels housing their guests! WOT? Really!!!! I automatically visited the Sincere Office thinking I registered my reservation correctly; however, I totally freaked out when the Sincere Office Manager flatly stated, "I don't have your reservation listed nor did I receive your advanced payment." I totally lost my fortune cookies hearing such disastrous, devastating news, i.e., I could feel those fortune cookies furiously, violently crumble underfoot with my remarkable exclamation, "DOH!" The Sincere Office Manager was sympathetic and very understanding when I provided my reservation and payment receipt WHICH was written in Chinese scripting . . . Which I'm absolutely illiterate reading . . . The Office Manager exclaimed, "Ohhhhh~!!!!," then, proceeded picking up the telephone saying something in Cantonese . . . "Hao, hao, hao . . . Huh? Hao!": Hanging up the phone, the Office Manager stated, "You go to Fifth Floor-register there, ok?" I took the elevator down and entered a dark, small office: The Dude behind the desk said, "Are you Shirley?" "Yes," I exclaimed! "I've been wondering if, you were going to show up or not because these people wanted your room you paid which I had reserved for you! Uh-Sorry, guys~Shirley is here so, I have no vacancies . . . Tiny and cramped but cheap and clean…read more The "HQ" is located at the 9th floor but the room are at the 14th. The elevator system can be daunting, pair on one side and impair on the other but, you can always use the staircase if you are on the wrong one. I had a double bed (let's say Chinese size) with a private bathroom (let's say Chinese size). The wall are paper thin so you can hear the alarm clock of your neighbours. Regarding the bed, I would say that if you mesure more then 5'10" that you might have some issues. The bed is squeezed between 3 wall so if you are a tall couple only one of you will have the luxury of having your leg out. Other than this, don't forget your HK adapter to recharge your phone. You can purchase one easily around 20 HK$ in a shop next door.

However, this shopping centre gets intensely packed. We visited on a Monday, and it was still way too crowded inside. The combination of the heavy crowds and the unique spiral layout actually made me feel a bit dizzy while navigating the floors. On the plus side, there is a great variety of shopping options, from upscale retailers to trendy boutiques, along with a movie theater and plenty of standalone restaurants. That being said, the actual food court area felt surprisingly small for a mall of this scale. We ultimately didn't spend much time here because it was a bit overwhelming, and we preferred to walk around the vibrant open-air spots nearby in Mong Kok. It is worth a quick look for the design, but be prepared for major foot traffic.

Since my last visit here 4 years ago, much of the stores have been closed. Many of the stores now have been taken over by phone, computers or even food stalls. I even saw one of stores were now an adult toy store, which is a very weird place to be. There are still plenty of choices to chose from, there were many businesses that have switch over to toys as well. I am both a toy and video game geek, so I was very happy. Unlike some of the other specialize areas of shopping in HK, like the computer shopping area has buildings and blocks having the same stuff. The Oriental 188 is very isolated, they do have one building fill with games and stuff, but nothing surrounding it. So if you are looking for a game hunting adventure that would last ALL day, you may be slightly disappointed. If not, fantastic place to go to.

I went to get it the next day as they were to fix the glass and they were closed. They stayed closed for 2 days until they knew I was leaving Hong Kong. They STILL have my phone TWO months later and refuse to mail it to me, they laughed and said I should fly back to Hong Kong to get it as they were not spending money to ship phones. I even gave them my credit card number so I would pay for it -- and they have every excuse not to send it. Lamp Pui is the owner and she is impossible to deal with. She plays games, like blocking me from WhatsApp, not answering her phone or playing games on email. I just got the police involved and hope she gets arrested. DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO IMPRESSION DIGITAL AND LAMP PUI. (BTW: They didn't even fix the glass as the owner LAMP PUI claimed she "didn't know how to fix it.") BEWARE!
