Easy accessibility to this mall via MTR, bus, ferry, & taxi. I've definitely spent HOURS, maybe even an entire day here because there's so much offered. They've got three hotels here, as well, so if you're looking for a place to stay, the hotels are stunning! I've only ever had pleasant experiences whenever I have visited and is definitely my favorite mall to go to when I'm visiting. Perhaps, I'd even consider this to be my favorite mall that I've been to in not only Hong Kong, but mainland China as well!

Basically every high-end designer you've ever heard of has a massive flagship here. The food options are great too, especially the restaurants by the water with floor-to-ceiling windows. The Bad: Honestly, the vibe can be a lot. Because the mall connects a bunch of different giant buildings, it feels like an endless, confusing maze. The maps aren't super helpful and it is way too easy to get lost. We didn't have a ton of time to spend here, and we felt like we wasted most of it just trying to figure out where we were.

Langham Place is a stunning, modern, multilevel shopping complex right in the heart of Mong Kok…read more The futuristic architecture and massive indoor escalators are definitely impressive. However, this shopping centre gets intensely packed. We visited on a Monday, and it was still way too crowded inside. The combination of the heavy crowds and the unique spiral layout actually made me feel a bit dizzy while navigating the floors. On the plus side, there is a great variety of shopping options, from upscale retailers to trendy boutiques, along with a movie theater and plenty of standalone restaurants. That being said, the actual food court area felt surprisingly small for a mall of this scale. We ultimately didn't spend much time here because it was a bit overwhelming, and we preferred to walk around the vibrant open-air spots nearby in Mong Kok. It is worth a quick look for the design, but be prepared for major foot traffic.

(This review is also posted under the "Langham Place Mall" page)…read more One of the major factors that we have been staying at the Cordis Hotel every time we visit Hong Kong in the recent years is its convenient location. The hotel is connected to the Langham Place Mall on Level 4 via a shelter walkway across Shanghai Street. Langham Place is the largest shopping mall in Mong Kok. The 15-floor (+ 2 basement levels) mall with 180,000 sq ft of shopping space has over 200 shops and eateries, and direct access to the Mong Kok MTR in the basement level, making it very convenient to stay at the Cordis Hotel. I can't believe that the mall is already 21 years old. It still looks modern and funky. It has a 9-storey glass atrium that makes it look very airy with natural light during the day. There are many eateries and a food court on Level 4, plus many more restaurants and eateries dispersing throughout different levels of the mall. There is a long escalator going up from L4 to L8, and then another one from L8 to L12. There are also shorter escalators going up the floors after the long ones. The best strategy to browse the mall is to take either the escalators or elevators to the highest floor of the mall (supposed to be L15), and then work your way down by walking. It took me about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to do so. But it depends on whether you have something to shop for, or just browsing. I like to look at the cute things in the gift shops or toy stores. In my trip back in March, 2025, I purchased a Lulu the Pig disguised as Ne Zha. It was so cute and a great buy, it was on sale for HK$100 (US$13), down from HK$700 (US$90). However, the rest of the merchandises were at full price. We like the restaurants at the hotel, but have also tried different eateries in the mall. There are so many different cuisines to try. In our most recent trip in October, I noticed a big sign announcing that "Din Tai Fung is coming soon"! For a DTF fan like me, this is really great news. It is going to be close by Orchid Padaria Café (one of our favorite Cha Chaan Teng) on Level B2. I really look forward to dining in there when it opens! The Langham Place mall is an air-conditioned oasis in Mong Kok. It provides free WiFi, free parking, and long opening hours. It constantly attracts a lot of people. If you are not used to places with dense population, I suggest that you don't venture out there on Fridays, weekends, or any holidays, so that it would not be too overwhelming. Give it a try on a "slow" day first. Have fun!

You're in Asia, where are all those cheap deals? Mong kok is the place to go. If you're a bargain wizard, you will definitely have fun here. + Variety: from food, bubble tea and earrings to clothing, you can probably buy almost everything here. Minus...probably groceries. + Public transportation friendly Cons - "Trying it on" is unheard of if you're buying clothes. Better to prepared and know your measurements. It's like buying clothes from aliexpress, but you get to see it in person before you buy - Cash: you probably need to bring cash. Each stall likely has a different policy about credit or debit cards (let alone international cards). This is basically a girl's shopping haven. My heart goes out to your partner if you're bringing a dude along.

I would describe it as more of a building full with tiny tiny shops. Whatever you can imagine, you can find at the mall. There were electronics stores, clothes of all kinds, purses, food stalls, gift shops and much more. Here's the interesting thing, each of these shops were only about 50-100 sq ft in size. Now there is about 4 stories on shops just like these. 4 floors of mini shops, with the bra shop sitting next to a gift shop next to a closet that sells curry fish balls. Was it a ton of stuff to buy, no, not really. But it was interesting. It was just like a indoor "ladies street." (Read the other review) So please, if it's only once, come on down to check it out, you may find something.
