Our second year competing was with K2, and the growth we've seen since then has been phenomenal. I have two girls who both compete and train here, and the training they receive is truly exceptional. The studio has clear rules that create a safe, structured environment, and as a parent, I appreciate the direction and consistency. They also re-evaluate and assess students regularly to ensure they're placed in the right classes, which shows how much they care about proper development. I don't remember exactly what dip he taught or how he taught the technic, but what I do remember is him saying, "If you're going to fall, what you do is go straight down to your knees, you pull her into your arms, and protect her. You do not drop her." Needless to say, I joined the class, and eventually joined the dance team at the studio he taught at at the time. Ikhlas is elegant on the dance floor and off. He has a way of making you feel special, like a specific individual, rather than "just another student," and he has a genuinely good personality. If you're wondering about his dance skills, all I can say is that you won't be disappointed. He can be masculine, more masculine than any other male teacher I've come across. He can also be elegant in a more delicate, feminine way, so much that it can trump almost all of the female dance teachers I've come across, too. Ikhlas is a great dancer, he teaches dance in a way that's easy to understand and learn, and he's a great person altogether. To bring it all together, Ikhlas is an amazing teacher.

The camaraderie and support are two things that help push me. 24 hr gyms didn't do that for me. I hated to go to the gym. Then I found this place and knew i was where i belonged! In every class the instructor is always watching and making sure your form is good. The staff and members are all amazing and so welcoming. They offer Pilates (reformer, mat, tts, and chair), yoga (vinyasa flow & deep stretch), cycling, Zumba, TRX, tone & strength, and barre. Every class has a sign up list. You can sign up a week before the class. They have a waitlist as well and chances are you will make it to the class. Highly recommend Wicked Pilates!!
