(There is a park behind the beer garden, so the overall vibe is super chill.) As for the food and drink, they exceeded our expectations. After having eaten out a lot over a two-week trip, the food here was much better than most of the places we visited in Germany. The pasta my daughter had was great -- lots of fresh veggies mixed in and it was her most memorable dish the entire two weeks. I had the white asparagus with a schnitzel and could not have been happier -- the asparagus and hollandaise sauce was outstanding, and the schnitzel one of the better I had all trip. As for the service, the folks who helped us were polite, funny and cool. I highly recommend this establishment. So glad we found it. Highly, highly recommended!!

The atmosphere was very old feeling with the decorations, and the waitstaff wore historical looking clothes. The food was very good, the service was outstanding, and the prices were reasonable considering it was a central area with lots of shopping and probably tourists. Plus the beer was great!

The staff were friendly, while the table-to-table entertainment avoided us. Maybe we looked unfriendly. It had been a long day, after all. Service was very good & they were accommodating. The price was a bit higher than elsewhere, but our guests were OK with that, as they enjoyed the environment & decor.
