They have table service in the back (indoor and outdoor), and counter service at the front facing the parking lot, but it's a fairly small place really.
We split a schnitzel meal (included fries and a salad), and it was enough for us, although we were only ein bisschen hungrig. The salad was quite large, and like a good German salad, was actually made up mostly of things other than lettuce. In this case a scoop of lentil salad, a scoop of pasta salad, a scoop of potato salad, shredded carrots, and cabbage saw, topped with a bit of lettuce and a bit of dressing. The schnitzel was fairly typical, but cooked well and tender. If you're visiting the castle, don't be afraid to eat here if you're hungry!
