Although a little pricey , the place is so cute & quaint! our food did take a while but it's a one man show in the kitchen and he works his butt off! his service and serving the food is excellent! our food was freshly made & tasted delicious!

Zuly's is by far my favorite New Mexican restaurant I've ate at, the owner Chalako is awesome and extremely polite every time! The food is always amazing, and in my opinion the best chili cheese fries in the state, his chili is just phenomenal! It's a cozy little restaurant with nice outside dining as well, over all a really nice ambiance. If you're in the northern part of the state or passing by Dixon stop in for some food because you will not regret it

Food was fantastic. Potatoes were crispy and flavorful, and got the Christmas Chile on my omelette, and could pick a favorite because both blew my mind. Yummy gut warming and soul filling food served up to you by amazingly great cooks and staff.

Enchiladas calabaza (squash)

Excellent chef. All on point as many have stated from the main to the rice and beans. Really outstanding New Mexico food - all the flavors come through crisply and well cooked and not drenched in cheese, oil, or (shudder) floury chili sauce. All hot on arrival. Highly recommend - locals tout all I've not tried from sandwiches to burgers to salads. Side note - what a friendly group servicing!

Two hour drive to the airport, 2.5 hour flight and another two hour drive to Zuly's and it was worth every minute. If you are anywhere near Dixon NM you have to try this place. The roasted flavor to the green chile and the smoky flavor of the red chile really is like none other I have had anywhere in New Mexico (really, anywhere). The restaurant isn't anything fancy but the food is five-star all the way.

Big Sur!

The best Mexican food in this area! Try the shrimp enchiladas verde. Get a small side of sour cream, lemon and green chile, worth the few extra pesos. He is the best, his wife is always kind, too!! PBH - former Head Pro/GM for Pebble Beach MCH - former Host/Floor Mgr. for Clint Eastwood

Great food, nice atmosphere, and the owners are wonderful. Have never been disappointed with their food, and I eat there often.

Zuly's is the Best!!

The BEST Mexican food in Santa Fe is Zuly's in Dixon!! Try the shrimp enchiladas verde or anything! Best preparations, best chili, best know-how, best TLC, BEST Everything! Delicious!!!! These people are Quality! Wish all the cocina workers in Santa Fe would take lessons from these good folks. Go treat yourselves, and don't forget to tip Big!! We want to keep these guys. I can't recommend this place. I'm sympathetic to the difficulties of running a restaurant in a…read moresmall, isolated location, but every dish we had used canned green chiles and stewed tomatoes, an absurd amount of cheddar cheese, and was prepared in a microwave (which you can hear if you are seated in the restaurant). The enchiladas consisted of small hard bits of meat scattered through a soupy mix of shredded cheese and watery red sauce. I understand that this restaurant has a storied past, and was previously a favorite stop for many former governors. But I fear those days are long past.

Explains everything for the newbies. Patient and erudite. Such poise in such a young person. It's a small dining area. Clearly a local fave. Phone was ringing off the hook. But many clearly knew their way around. A few ppl walked in, placed their order and said they'd be back at such and such a time. There's only a small kitchen We got to mean Domenic, our cook A sweetheart and a skilled chef. The food itself seems straightforward and pretty simple, but each dish had its own flavor which I think is pretty hard to do and each was so satisfyingly delicious. I think I would've bn satisfied with just the menudo and the half order of nachos, but didn't know it at the time we ordered so we went on and got the El Faro burger, my friend ordered the cheese enchiladas and of course we got the chile Christmas on the side. Fantastic! And a tremendous value. We were quite shocked that our entire meal, including 2 sodas came to less that $40, such that we left double that bc these small businesses are such treasures and we want such places to remain in business. Seemed there were quite a few locals but also lots of travelers coming through. I certainly plan to be back soon!

I ordered chile rellenos with red and green chile sauce (Christmas) and they were some of the best I've ever had. The prices were some of the lowest I'd seen in Taos and the food exceptional. There was plenty of staff who checked on us on a regular basis and they were all very friendly.

Finally we figured it had been put on the wrong side of the Main Street so we went the other way and ended up hungry and ready for a drink and dinner. The only negative is that I couldn't get a margarita other than the wine margaritas they have. Since there is a sweet and sour mix in them I went for a white wine instead and it was perfect for the day. We ordered our drinks and chips and guacamole to get started while we looked at the menu. Our server was super and we sat on the patio in the shade which was lovely. There was plenty of shade for the hot day. To stave off our hunger while we looked at the menu we ordered the chips and salsa with guacamole. The salsa was fabulous as was the rest but I had to comment on the salsa because so often these days it's just too tomato-y or bland. This was flavorful and had a bit of spice. For dinner, we ordered the steak tampiquena and I would get it again. Savory, perfectly cooked and hearty. Check this place out if you are visiting!
