Patio seating is great for people watching. Service was very friendly, spoke English and chatted with me for a while. I ordered the Pad See Ew (13,90 Euro) which comes with eggs, carrots, onions and spring onions. You have your choice of veggies, chicken, beef, shrimp, and all sorts of other meats. I chose the chicken. When it arrived I was surprised that the dish came with thin, soft rice noodles instead of the thick flat ones. I'm used to the thicker ones. The flavour was also not authentic. It tasted more like Chinese Chow Mein than Pad See Ew. That being said, it was flavourful, and was packed with chicken and other ingredients. The ratio between noodle and chicken was good and the portion size was good. Not too big or small. So if you're not too picky about authenticity, this place is decent. I'll give it a "indifferent" rating as I can't recommend it or tell people to avoid it.

All of the dishes were excellent. The plan was to leave enough for lunch tomorrow but that did not work out so well. We finished it all. They use fresh ingredients, fresh oil, and the chef does a masterful job. In May we had our glass of port, paid the bill, but didn't leave straight away as we were chatting to the couple at the next table, so up came our waiter and topped up our port glasses for second helpings! The place is always crowded because the food is good and the service is rapid. Apart from the Portuguese staff, the remainder are Chinese (obviously). Some have limited English so they don't say much other than the names of the meals - some people could think they're stand offish - but it's just that they are nervous when trying to converse further.
