Entire paint job with zero issues and never a repair or patch needed. Recently, I had water damage on one wall from a broken Air Conditioning unit and even though it was a very small job they came right away...took care of it in one day... and gave me an amazing deal. Gilbert and Chris are respectable, fair, honest and do impeccable work. Don't look anywhere else- this is the company for you and any of your painting needs. Instead, focus on fair pricing, and not assuming that because a woman is requesting your services you can assume she does not realize that 2500.00 to paint one room, it's ceiling and a hallway is outrageous. We had the entire outside(1800sq ft) of our home, with eaves painted for 2000.00. Also, don't laugh and hang up on customers when they attempt to speak with you on your quote. I am a General Contractor who has hired Zamora Painting on a number of projects for both residential and commercial buildings. Their prices are fair and their work is excellent. As a General Contractor, I also appreciate how thorough their estimates are. This is important to me because I know exactly what I am paying for without being concerned about additional charges at the end of the job. When I received my first quote from them, they provided me with all of their insurance information without having to ask for it, along with a number of references. I was even able to look at some of the homes they had previously painted. They earned my trust before I hired them, and I was not surprised that the quality and timeliness of their work were excellent. Gilbert is on-site managing the quality, while Christopher follows with me daily to discuss progress and address questions. I had a concern with the sheen of the paint Zamora used on one of my projects, and despite the fact that they had already painted the entire room and their contract said they would use the paint that they applied, they went ahead and repainted the entire room free of charge in a lower sheen. I called two painting contractors for estimates to paint the exterior of our house; the first didn't respond, but Zamora responded promptly, gave a clear estimate of work and time, and did what they promised. The best thing was their attention to detail. They explained what they were doing and did detail work that I would not have ever thought of, but after the fact, realize that what they were doing will make our house look better. It surprised me how many workers they sent to do the job; I expected one or two, but there were at least six people working on the job. Wow!!! I have never met a company that is adamant about customer satisfaction. Gilbert kept his guys, Saul and Haido, at our house until the job was done. They even REPAINTED our entire living room because the paint we chose was not what we expected. We hired Zamora painting to paint our kitchen from white to light grey- a simple job for a kitchen, not a lot of detail work. The morning of the job they showed up on time and one of the owners Gilbert showed up with his employee. He went through the kitchen with him instructing him on what needed to be painted and discussing details with him. He told him to remove the shades from the two windows before starting. And then he left. His employee decided to ignore him and proceeded to start prepping without removing the shades. Both my wife and her assistant asked him to remove the shades before starting, both requests he ignored. Of course he ended up getting giant paint stains on the largest shade (a large, expensive custom shade). Gilbert came to the house, apologized profusely and then said he would have the shade replaced. He sent back another couple of guys to finish the job his first painter did because the quality of the work was so poor. They attempted to scrub the shade clean but it was too late. Then Gilbert returned a third time. This time he proceeded to accuse my wife and I of lying about the stains on the shade. He told us "I will pay for it, but I'm not a fool and I know those aren't paint stains". It was ridiculous and insulting. We'd been incredibly patient and understanding in spite of what a disaster the whole experience had been. When we tried to explain to him that we saw the painter do it, that he admitted to doing it, that there was really nothing to debate about he interrupted us, raising his voice and repeatedly accusing us of lying. We had to ask him to leave before we'd even settled the issue because it was getting out of control. The painter he'd subcontracted came to our house later that afternoon and apologized telling us that he'd cover the cost of the shade or do painting work around the house to repay us. Since we hadn't really hired him and didn't think it was fair that he should have to pay for something like that, we proceeded to try to sort it out with Zamora. After Gilbert threatening to "put a lien on our house" when I told him we wouldn't accept anything less than the shade being replaced, that we would submit a complaint to the BBB he finally wrote a check. Then he cancelled it because we wouldn't give him the damaged shade until the replacement arrived. He continued to make crazy threats about putting a lien on our house, at one point standing on my doorstep shouting after my wife had ended the conversation and closed the door. Eventually his son and co-owner called us and worked to resolve the issue with us (after a 30 minute phone call where my wife had to go over the entire situation repeatedly with him). They ultimately replaced the shade and the son apologized for his dad's behavior, but working with them was such a nightmare I would save yourself the headache and hire another company!! read more

All I can say is that Christopher was never on the job!!! Only Gilbert and his team. Most of what Christopher is saying is disingenuous. What Christopher is forgetting to tell you is that I had to assure Christopher that I would take my posting down if they returned to me the left over paint. This was the only way I was going to get the paint back that I paid for. I stand by my word: be cautious when considering this Zamora Painting. Zamora and co. were hired to treat and paint a retaining wall and a garage door for my back yard area. Having burned through at least three other desert area painting companies who either never returned my calls or flaked out on arranged meetings, I was excited to work with a company that seemed to be focused on doing good work for a fair price. In fact Hiberto returned my call same day and a few days later we met to discus the work at my residence. His quote came the next day and seemed to be very reasonable and he and his team were ready to go. In fact, I felt as though I held up the job due to my obsession with the paint color. After the color was chosen Zamora and co. were on the job as discussed a couple of days later (in 100+ heat...). The work went quickly and I appreciated Hiberto keeping me in the loop as to what exactly was being done and approximately how long the work would take. I was impressed with the team's knowledge of practice and materials. Every job is different and they knew what would be the correct route to take with both surfaces. This is a review for pure customer service. My mother was in need of a painter's ladder to get to the second story of her apartment... on Easter (It's a long story). She had called because she was without keys, with no way into her car or home. The man who answered was exceptional in helping my mother to feel better and even said that he'd be out in a matter of minutes with his wife ON A HOLIDAY to assist my mother. Great Work!! I would definitely call on Zamora Painting again as well as referring to family and friends. I used Zamora last Thanksgiving holiday for a large family party i was hosting. I had an idea of what i wanted but not down to the details. I wanted an accent wall and a total of three colors to be used. Gilbert came in with his crew and "made" it happen. I was provided with recommendations and told if i didn't like it - they would change it. Luckily I liked all the suggestions and still receive compliments when people see the work. A horrible company with bad work and moral ethics. I needed doors painted about two months ago and received a couple bids. The main reason I went with this company was the fact that the job could be started within a day. Gilbert is the owner and the person that came to my home to give me the quote. I showed him the doors which needed painted, wood color doors. He had quoted me a price that initially was way too high and after I told him it was too much, then he lowered the price to get the job and said he would put only 2 guys on the job to get the price lower. Then he called about 5 times within a 5 minute period very manic type of way saying he would only have 1 guy doing the job in order to get the job done at the price. After the painter showed, the painter said the job wouldn't be completed in the amount of time and needed to call Gilbert to ask for another painter. Then Gilbert called to yell me out that I had not been truthful about the color of the doors and that it would take 2 painters, because it was wood and would need to be primed first as well as raising the cost. I reiterated to him that he is the one that came to my house and saw the doors (which was only the day or two prior). After the painters were done with the job Gilbert asked if the job was done well, so I pointed out that the doors needed another coat since you could still see the oak color behind the white and all the brand new hinges had been painted over. He then stated that the hinges were all ready painted and I had to show him that they were brand new brushed nickel hinges. He then yelled really loudly at his painters and I told him it was ok and that I would scrape the paint off myself. He even fired one of the painters which was so bad. I could not believe he would yell at both of them right in front of me of which I had to repeatedly say it was ok and that it was not a problem. One other thing, the only thing that seemed to matter was money and a 5 star rating here on Yelp (He said he would only give me that price if I gave a 5 star review). I hope he gets better values someday, it was very unfortunate to work with him. read more

I honestly don't know where to begin. My sister and I were just healing from the death of our mom and dad within 6 weeks of each other. The condo in California had no visitors for 10 years because of our parents failing health. From 3000 miles away, we hired this company based on the wonderful reviews.
