Had horrible experience at this location, I've gone to this place throughout high school and i now go somewhere else. i went back today for my birthday $1 tan. The girl trying to take care of me is more worried about her phone going off (ringer on) and printing out her car insurance to take care of me. Finally she does and it was horrible customer service. She kept trying to tell me to use my coupon tomorrow and It would be cheaper which made no sense because it's a dollar. She then stopped talking to me and starting playing around on the other girls computer when she went to clean a booth for the girl behind me. The other girl working was upset with her also because of what she did on the computer which i don't know what she did. She finally comes back to help me again after sending me a text to get a code or something which she didn't tell me what for. She then was trying to charge me $10 for a dollar tan which didn't make sense at all and didn't tell me why it was more. The coupon never said anything about prices going up and she didn't explain anything. I'm like this is wrong and shes like it's not and then she's like It would be cheaper if you come back I'm like what the hell. So i was done at this point and said I'll go somewhere else a different time then. So i went to a different location (dick rd) and the guy that just started working there was so nice and took care of me. I wouldn't recommend going to this location at all because of this girl and I'm so glad i do not belong to zoomtan any longer. read more

The woman at the counter was quite rude, and tried to pressure me into buying lotion with lies. I know these workers make commission off of sales of tanning lotions. However, making up stories to scare people into a purchase is not the way to do it! My husband and I walked in to do a quick tanning session at this location and she notices my coconut ED Hardy lotion in his hands. She asked him where he purchased that lotion, because they do not sell it there. He tells her the lotion was mine, and he don't know where it came from. So she turns her attention to me, and starts telling me that lotions off of Amazon are watered down and that I will burn if I use it. (This is not my first rodeo in a tanning booth, and we actually got pretty good color after 2 sessions using my "watered down" $30 amazon lotion.) but I brush it off and tell her that we're ok with the lotion we have. My husband walks to his booth and I'm waiting for my room to be assigned, as I'm waiting she is STILL going on about the tanning lotion! She now started to advise me that I need to take care of my skin if I'm tanning, and because I didn't purchase THAT lotion from their tanning salon I will not tan and have bad skin... this went on for about 8 minutes before she finally told me a booth number. Long story short I understand you want commission from a sale, but I told you I was all set. DO NOT proceed to tell me lies about a lotion being watered down, etc because it's from amazon. It was sealed upon arrival, and works great for me. That to me is just low, as if your trying to scare people into a purchase. Other that that the booths are fine, and give you a decent tan. But do not buy the overpriced lotions! read more

Terrible customer service. Always waiting for an employee to arrive at the desk. Put in the wrong tanning times multiple times. Tried canceling my membership and spoke the the rudest customer service woman, would not give my call to her manage and directly connected my call to an answering service. I would NEVER recommend going to zoom tan to anyone. read more

Pushy with trying to sell the lotions. You basically pay the same for one or two spray tan sessions as the monthly fee, so I got suckered into 2 month of membership because I didn't cancel on time and they wouldn't give a refund for most of a full month. This company really doesn't care about customer satisfaction. I wasn't told the first time to exfoliate before spray tanning and had to ask for directions on the process. The spray tan looks good for a couple days but fades streaky. Don't get suckered into the membership or their lotions. read more

Terrible at clarifying the rules of age/what you need to get a spray tan. I have had gone there multiple times and every time i have had a new problem. They have different rules everytime i go there. I am never going back there again, terrible. read more
