Lemur experience! $45 per person for 15 mins

Such a fun place! We've been in town for 3 months and have been to Zoo World three times! Just to come as general admission you'll probably spend about an hour checking out all the animals. You can pay $45 per person for a 15 minute experience with animals (lemurs, cabybara, kangaroos, tapir, a baby alligator, etc) which was super fun! There can be long lines, and if you show up after 3pm you may not be admitted (since they close at 4pm). The workers were all nice and the person leading our animal experiences was super knowledgeable!

Awesome affordable experience when you're tired of the beach! The best part was feeding the budgies and Tony the giraffe! Capybaras are in multiple exhibits and they even have a 15 minute baby experience for an additional $45 if you want to splurge! The staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this cute zoo.

The rating is based on their ticket system.. there were two lines and the employees didn't know where we should go. It was hot and sunny and we stood there for 15 minutes with about 100 other people before we left. We came back later and their computers moved so slowly we would have been in line for an hour. They should mark the lines for memberships and need to purchase tickets. Once we were inside it was a cute little zoo. It was definitely a little overpriced but we were in a tourist destination so that's why the price was so high.

Exceeded expectations, small space but lots to do for kids, especially if you go early and are willing to spend on some of the extras. My 3 year old really enjoyed feeding the leaves to the giraffe. Yes it's expensive for lettuce but also a pretty unique experience. We spent about an hour feeding the rest of the animals then onto the birds. Some cool alligator and flamingos to see as well! Perfect 2+ hour activity that was very memorable for both kids.

Fantastic experience! We are a "zoo family" and was unsure of how this one would compare to others since it is a little smaller than the "big city zoos". We had a BLAST! Our kids (2 & 4) loved the interactions with animals, close viewing options/angles, and uniqueness of this zoo. We were satisfied with general admission and only added on the "animal feed combo". Spent around 3 hours in total and revisited the budgie feeding area! Top exhibits/experiences were the giraffe feeding, budgie feeding, lion exhibit, and alligator swamp.

When I pulled up to this establishment I was weary of what we were getting ourselves into because the outside looked sketchy. Once we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff members. You definitely get your money's worth. We did the kangaroo experience. It was AMAZING! The staff members are so friendly and care for the animals. Would recommend to everyone and hope to go back again!

I had a very fun time at this zoo. I saw animals not available at my local zoo, and even got to interact with some. The entrance of the zoo is at the gift shop, where you can purchase personal animal experiences with animals such as sloths, kangaroos, and lemurs. These experiences are pricey, and one thing to be cautious of is that some of the experiences don't allow touching the animal, so you're just paying to see them close up. I purchased the sloth experience and luckily got to pet and feed them. You can also purchase food pellets around the park to feed animals throughout the park. This is a more interactive zoo than the others I have experienced, and recommend it if visiting Panama City beach.

It's a nice zoo that seems to be taking good care of their animals. We were there on 1-1-25, the parking lot was full but the zoo really wasn't that crowded inside. It's a great place to bring the whole family.

We went here while staying in Panama City Beach . We loved it . The animal exhibits are well done & very nice . We were impressed with the different kinds of animals the zoo had . We especially loved the Parakeet enclosure that you could walk into & Parakeets would land on you . We were impressed with how clean this zoo was & how friendly everyone was . It's located right in the city so easy to get to . I would recommend coming here.

What a wonderful place. I took my sister there for her birthday. The staff was so helpful and kind. Tony the giraffe was so gentle when feeding him the lettuce leaves. The animals were well taken care of. The highlight of the day was having our encounter with "Snail" the Sloth. Savannah the caretaker was so knowledgeable and kind. She took lots of pictures of my Sister and I and Snail. This was the topping on the birthday cake for my Sister. Zoo World is the place to go to learn about different animals and contribute to their conservation.

It's an enjoyable little zoo. If you take your time and are at the Animal Experience locations at the right then you get to pet some of the animals. The staff is friendly but seemed very busy. Reading the animal description signs was informative but would have been nicer if the staff was a bit more interactive with guests and willing to take the time and talk about the animals. The petting area of the zoo with farm animals was fun and the bird aviary was a blast. If you stand still next to the cage holding your feed sticks out they will come to you and at one time we were covered almost head to toe with birds licking the sweat off us as well as eating the seed. Be aware some do bite a little. Doesn't hurt.

Although this Zoo is perfect for kids, a great size, and the animals are too cute, I think that the environment was not the greatest for each animal. They did not have fresh water, their cages were dirty, and I wish that the animals were taken care of a little bit better. Other than that, the zoo itself is perfect for kids, and I would definitely go again! It's mostly outside so be prepared weather wise! Great activity for families.

Everything was great! It was me my wife and our 3 year old. Cost was about $80, $25 for adults, $19.99 for kids but not sure where the age limits changes for price. The variety of species was somewhat different from most zoo's we've been too but it's spread out over 5 acres. We didn't get many pics cause as everyone who's had a three year old knows we were busy chasing lol. I would say it's definitely worth going too. Price seems average. Gift shop is expensive but they have neat things for kids. Kangaroos, alligators, feeding giraffe, and the bird cage was probably our favorite but we enjoyed it all. The baby monkeys were really fun to watch with there mommas and how they react with them. Also it was pretty humid and hot so they have misting fans in a few spots you can cool off under, several benches to stop and rest as well as shade. There's lots of shady spots which was also nice. Bathrooms on site near the barn and the alligators on the northeast side of the park. We would recommend it for sure, I mean I didn't think for such a small zoo it would be that interesting but it caught us by surprise for the size and location and it's very well taken care of! Friendly staff would come and explain certain aspects of the animals as well and just converse with you super nice folks! Go check em out your kids will enjoy it!

This does not seem to be the norm with many small family run zoos in the US There is a large variety of animals some of which we've never seen in enlarged shoes and this is one of the few zoos we've been to where the animals are active and almost interact with visitors. While we were there, the lions that are penned together or playful and seemed interested in the humans on the other side of the fence. We fed the giraffes which include a young one who is very adorable. We also had a nice interaction with one of the zoo staff who was cleaning out the porcupine pen. She was very informative and was willing to answer questions about the porcupines and gave us some information about other animals that we would encounter in the zoo. Overall, it was a good experience and we would highly recommend the zoo to people who enjoy learning about animals or just want something different to do. On a fun note we appreciated that the signage told us the names of some of the animals like two emus named Karen and water buffaloes named fast and slow, if you're a fan of Veggietales, you'll get that last reference.

We saw stingrays, dolphins, penguins, manatees, turtles, crocodiles, pelicans, snakes, lizards, frogs, and many other animals. Even though we missed the scheduled shows, there was still plenty to see and enjoy at our own pace. One of the best parts was learning that they care for many rescue animals and help rehabilitate and release them back into the ocean when possible. It was great seeing a place focused on marine animal rescue and conservation. The park was family friendly and easy to walk through, with lots of close-up animal encounters. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars instead of 5 is that some of the animal habitats and viewing areas were not very well maintained. A few tanks had noticeable algae buildup, which made it difficult to clearly see some of the animals. Overall though, we still had a good experience and would recommend visiting if you are in the Fort Walton Beach area.

Unfortunately, for myself and my family we were sold on this idea of a pretty cool pirate ship that tours the island of Destin. Not at all with this ship does. This cruise is solely intended to entertain children while you explore a small area of the waters for example passing crab Island starting just a short distance away from Harbor Walk. We were lucky enough to see a dolphin take a quick flip above water, but if you blinked and missed it, which some people in my group did, then you missed it but it's not advertised as part of the experience so for those of us that saw it, we were lucky. I do find that there are many dolphins and you get to see them probably any day you're on the water. The ship is exceptionally clean, and I loved the laboratory facilities. Not your typical tiny bathrooms that you find on a boat. We did order the fast on boarding Tickets, which I did not feel were necessary. No one asked us for it and when we got to the ship, we were instructed to walk to the front just like everybody else and had to wait for one family to board ahead of us as they only board one group at a time. In my mind that family did not have a fast on boarding, however, who knows. We were not asked for the Pass and there was no line or sign to indicate what side to stand on if you had a fast on boarding. Maybe this is more valuable during peak season but definitely not now.
