This was an awakening for me. Anjilia taught me more about my hair and scalp than I had ever learned before and I have been using stylists for many years. I won't ever go anywhere else. *** Eyelash Extensions Review for Claudia *** A Groupon got me in to test out the eyelash extensions at this Salon. I bought the full eye extension and 1 refill. I'll talk about each session I experienced. ----Full Set Experience My BFF made the appointment for us, what she forgot to disclose is that there's only 1 gal (Claudia), that took us in one at a time. Each person can take up to 2 hours long, which meant both of us had to wait that length of time for each other. Talk about a long long day! But good thing Zolf had free WiFi for my iPhone, so, I was able to catch up on 1.5 episodes of Gilmore Girls on Netflix. Once you go into a tiny closet-sized room at the back of the salon, Claudia asked to remove my shoes and hop onto the bed. She tucks you into the softest mink-fleece blanket and asks if your comfy. After putting patches under my eyes, she starts gluing eyelash extensions on top of my short lashes. There's no pain but occasionally, it tickles. And for some reason, my nose got itchy during my session. I dosed off and started drooling a little! But mid-way through, I was done napping and started blabbing my mouth off with gossip. Once she pulled off the eye patches, I slowly peeled my eyes open (It was a little stuck due to some glue). She handed me the mirror... DAMNNN! HOT GIRL ALERT! I was so worried I would end up looking like a drag queen but it was still me - just better!! Jenny 2.0. I loved them! I mean, I really loved them. The lashes felt natural. They were longer, lusher, curled and gave me a bit of va-va-voom but not over the top voom. And best of all, I don't need to put on any eye makeup. ---Refill Experience Exactly 2-weeks later, I still had Claudia's lashes on me! I even had a bad cold for 3-days and thought I would sneeze all the lashes off but those bad boys stuck on me like glue... literally. Once again, Claudia tucked me into a warm fuzzy blanket and put patches under my eyes. The refill was a lot faster and took less than 1 hour to finish. Claudia had to detangle a few lashes on both eyes, which gave a 'pinch' effects and made me tear up slightly. After my session was over, she handed me the mirror and once again, va-va-voom! The refill is just as fabulous! Really really gorgeous. I can't believe she can do this all day long because you have to be precise, meticulous and have steady hands. I gotta give big kudos to her - she's great at her craft, she's sweet, and really really nice. The lashes are so long, that your sunglasses will be the only time you'll notice that they are longer. And they feel natural when you blink! NOTES - Lash care: No oil based products can be used around your eyes. Try to keep water off the lashes. Need to remember not to rub your eyeballs! Must brush them at least 2x's daily. Strangers will stare into your eyes or say hi to you for no reason. Long lashes have magical powers. Full lashes done on 1/30/2016, the last 2 lashes are on my eyeballs as of 2/3/2017. read more

Tanya is soo awesome, caring, listens to what you want AND DOESN'T ABUSE YOU! Trend Hair Styling in Union City not only destroyed my youngest's hair and they also left broken blood vessels on her neck, which I will be filing a police report. I'm actually visiting town for the holidays, and I was in DESPERATE need to get a haircut, so I made a brave decision to book an appointment with a salon I didn't know. There were actually two people who teamed up to do my hair. Anjila was in charge of my cut. She's actually the owner of the salon, and so sweet. It's clear that she cares about each client that walks in, as well as her entire staff. She gave great suggestions for my hair bc I had no idea what I really wanted. She told me exactly what she was doing as she was cutting it. I ended up with more refined layers that really flatters my face while keeping the length I wanted. I was then passed on to Tanya, who was a DREAM to work with!! I wanted to change my color and add more dimension, so the consensus was highlights. I've never gotten a full highlight before, but I wanted to stay with dark hair and not do anything super dramatic. Tanya was able to achieve perfect caramel tones to compliment my dark hair, and I'm literally obsessed with the color. I told her I'm horrible with hair maintenance, and she blended the highlights in a way that will look great as my hair grows out. If you're looking for bomb color, TANYA is your girl!! If you haven't been to see Angela yet, you're missing out! I was lucky to find her again after I moved around the country for a few years. She did my hair years ago when I was fun and daring and had two toned hair (it was the 00s!) and a funky cut. She was amazing then and she's even better now. She cuts my stacked mom-bob like nobody's business and attends to every detail. She makes it look COOL. She rocks with color, too. She's done a million things with color for me but what I love is that no matter what I ask for, she finds a way to do it. And I MAY have a touch of the crazies when if comes to changing my hair color. Love that flexibility AND talent. Personally, she's lively- funny and chatty, but also know when to lay low of you want to chill. Zolf salon- I likey. I followed Angela here from her previous salon and Zolf is perfect. I took my 8 yr old daughter in for her first ever hair cut. Something I have avoided for as long as I could as my daughter has ADHD, DMDD and sensory disorder so she can be quite explosive if she becomes uncomfortable with her surroundings or sensations. SCAMMING A** BUSINESS ALERT These people charged me $150 for a eyelash extension fill. I called and the manager told me the price is $75. I left a $20 tip. So I really paid $170. The manager says there's nothing they can do. To make it worse they used FAUX MINK when I asked the "esthetician" more than once if they were real. All in all. The manager should be able to use their experience in customer service when their employees make a mistake in order to keep a client. read more

I had been looking for a salon nearby, and found Zolf Salon via the wonderful reviewers of Yelp. I had the pleasure of visiting Hedy for a desperately needed cut. I was nervous given that this was my first time visiting somewhere aside from the salon I've been loyal to, but with a new baby, traveling to San Jose was becoming more and more challenging. I was greeted kindly by the receptionist and offered a multitude of beverage choices but settled on infused water which was fabulous. Hedy was kind and after a short cut, I expressed that I was ready to grow my hair out and wanted only a 1/2 inch cut. She took her time, even showing me every few minutes what she was doing, how much she was cutting, and offering tips for haircare - which I loved! She also did an amazing massage during the shampoo process which as a new mom - yes! I left with a gorgeous cut and style and I'll definitely be back to visit Hedy.
