Over the phone, he explained everything he would need from me and told me what to expect from him. He shared how he would help, providing best and worst case scenario. And a timeline. Joe moved away from California, but does return regularly as he's a Ducks fan and has season tickets. He may have been worth the price he quoted. I don't know. The two other quotes I got were more than 50% less than what he quoted. It does not make sense for me to pay 2x as much for somebody living in another state to do my taxes. Here I am! Everyone happy?) 7) Then I told them I had a new accountant, and they sent me an offboarding checklist that literally includes the line: "Future Support: Take Note of Whom to Contact If Assistance is Needed: [CRS Accountant Name] [Insert Email Address Here]." In other words, I have no idea to to contact or how to reach them. ...This is completely in line with the communication I received throughout my time there, and a perfect capstone to my experience.
