If I could give zero stars I would. I ran up to this car wash because the hours showed they were open until 9 PM. I went through the drive-through and was helped by a black lady with colored red hair who didn't tell me that they were literally about to close and I would not have time to use the vacuums and all the amenities I just paid for. They turned the vacuums off while me and three other people were mid vacuum and they were still here! And they are still here at 6:45 right now. There were no trash cans no vacuums no nothing by 6:20 and when I asked them to turn it back on the guy wouldn't even ask anyone. He just looked at me and said oh we've never done that before so I don't think so and then just stood there and I'm like OK great thanks so I guess that's a no? This place is a joke and just be sure if you're gonna come here your car will not get very clean and heads or tails you'll get to use the damn vacuums. What a waste of time. They signed us up for a membership after we had already said no and you can't cancel or get a refund in person you have to call a number and when I called they could not find any information regarding a supposed membership so my card number is just floating around being charged monthly for something I don't have! I use to come here before when it was under a different name but stopped coming because my car never got washed properly. I recently got a deal on membership and decided to come by again since it was under a new company and honestly not much has changed. The few times I have interacted with an employee here have been ok, short and to the point. They do power wash the front bumper of my car but never the back. Before I go in I take in my mirrors and my back wiper blade because the first time I went in it flew off during the wash! I manage to get an employee to go looking for it and she brought it back, which was really nice of her. I have not seen her since I was back. The problem I have with this was is that it almost always misses the back area of my window. I have a hatchback and the little nook off my breaks always gets missed by the rollers. The vacuums are ok but they could be better, the other location in Arlington has condensed air pressure hoses and this location does not. I do like that they have clean and dry terry cloth hand towels to detail your car. I also saw cleaning solutions in spray bottles available for everyone but no matt cleaning machine. Half of the vacuum spots are under the shade and those seem to be the most popular so I suggest trying to get into one of those. There is only one way to enter and leave so be careful pulling in/out because drivers in this area do not care and will run you over. read more

I went in to get a basic car wash and the cleaning equipment was so heavy it was slapping my car so hard and loud. I went in with a perfectly fine passenger side mirror and exited without it. Their damage claims are a complete joke and ran by idiots. I don't understand how a broken off mirror gets confused with minor scratches and denied immediately the next day. They made it very clear in their message that they didn't do any research on what happened. Didn't apologize and didn't even offer a refund at the very least. I can't even understand their responses they make no sense. DONT COME HERE unless you want your mirror gone. This happens because they don't clean the inside like they're supposed to so that makes the cleaning equipment heavy and that's also why so many people are complaining their cars don't get cleaned right. Advertise $5 car wash but it's with water only. Minimum wash is $12 and no one wipes your car down or anything. Vacuums seldom work and you have to move around spots to get a full vacuum. There are much better options around town than this place. read more

For $24 I'm not impressed. The roof, back window and trunk on the driver side were not clean afterward; you could just see drag marks through dust/pollen. My car is washed fairly often so this was not weeks or months of build up. I'll stick to the do-it-yourself car washes that are less than half the amount charged here and I can make sure it's spotless. read more

This place is awful. We got it a deal for a membership for $20. The actual car wash is super mediocre. The entire back of our car was still dirty when we went through. It didn't get any dirt out of the corners of the car, and there's were lots of spots after it dried. Also, we always ended up waiting 10 minutes in the membership only line because someone would be signing up for a membership and it takes forever. I wish I could give this place zero stars. First of all, you cannot cancel your service at the location. You must call there main office. I've called probably 50 times and only gotten someone twice. Both times they told me that they canceled my membership but I continue to be charged monthly!! This is honestly the worst service I've ever experienced by any company. read more

In Nov 2023, Zips Car Wash caused significant damage to my truck. They admitted fault that their equipment was rusted and faulty. This caused my truck to come out of the track and ended up falling through a metal grating. It caused a lot of damage to my front left tire, bumper and underbelly. They admitted fault and my insurance company finally got in touch with in around March 2023. They sent a document to the insurance company to complete and send back but the document could not be opened. Insurance asked them to resend in a different format. Here we are in July and Zips has yet to resend that document. AND they ghost me on every email I send to them directly pleading for them to get this resolved. I'm out $500 deductible under they pay and we are now 8 months later. And to make it worse, Zips reopened the car wash immediately after we finally got our truck out of the bay (and our own expense). They care more about profit than they do about safety. read more

This wash is in bad disrepair. Damaged my left front wheel. As being pulled through this car wash it was bumpy and there was a harsh grinding noise. On inspection I found the tracks were grinding on the inside of my left front wheel damaging the lip and knocking off the wheel weights. Last visit (last visit forever) 3 of the rollers brushes didn't work, left side of the car did not get wiped at all. Worse, the wash left a thick film on my car that left it hard to see through the glass. I had to drive it to another wash as I was concerned this stuff might damage my paint. There is a nice new one on Davis. It did an excellent job. I fear they will have to gut this location and rebuild all new to make this wash worth another visit. I bought a promotional membership at Zips car wash on April 25th with the intent of only keeping it for one month. I was told by the car wash attendant that I was required to give a 7 day notice for cancellation. On April 16th, I told the attendant to cancel my membership as I was getting my car washed. On May 25th, I was charged $40 dollars for another month of membership. I tried to call the number on the website to talk with someone about a refund, but was never connected to a live person. I emailed the customer service address and was told without a cancellation receipt, I could not get a refund. Of course, I was given no such receipt upon canceling my membership. I pulled up, he asked me if I wanted a membership, I said no thank you just a regular wash and he hit some buttons and I entered my card not thinking he was going to just add something I didn't ask for nor wanted. Not a bad car wash place. We have the membership and use it pretty often. My boyfriend has the top level membership. The power washer is supposed to get done before his car enters the actual car wash but it rarely gets done unless you tell them. Maybe you're supposed to tell them each time but we were never told that when we signed up. My membership is the basic one and I'm pretty satisfied with it. Their machines to pay sometimes do not read your membership sticker. The past 3 times we haven't had any issues. Hopefully that problem is fixed! The vacuum cleaners are pretty strong and get out the majority of the dog hair we have in our car! I greatly appreciate that. Some vacuum hoses are broken or don't have a strong suction and it's a little hard to go to a new one on the weekends. The car was itself is clean and there's never trash on the ground or over filled trash cans. The employees have always been helpful and tried to fix any problem (the pay machines) that arose. read more

Just had my car washed here today, was giving them a 3rd chance.... still fell short. Pros: great location, quick service. Cons: the tire shine needs attention wheels had zero gloss on them after the wash!!!! over priced for top tier wash, attention to detail by the staff upon entering and spraying vehicle, stopping the entire wash because the idiot behind you doesn't know how to drive, spacing out of vehicles when running through the wash. My biggest hangup is that the machine does not have something capable of really getting your bumpers down below like on the rear if you have a diffuser. If the staff were supplied with an extender brush they could easily scrub back there since they spray it with soap before the car enters the wash anyways. I say thats fair for $20. But then again, if you are taking your car to an automated wash you shouldnt expect great quality.... only reason i brought it here is this heat is just too hot to be doing it yourself, which i normally would. Went to get my truck washed. I was just going to get an express wash, but the guy told me for a few bucks more I could get unlimited premium washes for a month. So $14.95 vs. $8. I said ok, I'll do that. So for that month I went once a week, my truck looked awesome, it even put on tire shine, and the vacuums had awesome suction. The next month I see a $34.95 charge on my credit card. I called the corporate office # on my cc statement and asked what the charge was for. She said I had signed up for automatic monthly billing, for a wash plan. I said no I didn't, the guy never said I was signing up for auto billing. I had my spouse with me and neither of us heard that. I told her the way he presented it was sketchy/ bad business practice. She refunded my $34.95. I liked the wash, would probably do it at $14.95/ month, but the $34.95 is way too steep for me...so beware what you are buying... read more

I am a new member to Zips in Saukville, WI for about a month now. Last Wednesday (11/3) around 8:45am, I took my brand new car to get washed. While in the car wash, I heard an odd noise. Upon getting out of the car, I noticed that there was a area of the back passenger side window piece missing - basically ripped off. I went to speak with the manager right away & filled out an incident report. While still at Zips, I asked the manager to look for the missing piece in the car wash area while there were no cars going through the wash. She looked, but could not find the piece. She did however explain that Wednesdays are 'pit night' and if she found the piece she would give me a call. Otherwise, I should just wait to hear back from someone within 72 hours. I have yet to receive a call regarding the incident.  As I explained to the manager, I hold Zips accountable for the piece of my car that is broken and I expect it to be paid for. Please note that not even 15 minutes prior, I dropped my children off at school and the piece was intact. This is not a windshield wiper, a mirror sticking out, or an antenna. I should not be concerned about a fully intact piece of my brand new car from being torn off in a car wash. read more
