From the moment I reached out, communication was top-notch. He was prompt, professional, and asked the right questions to understand the issue before even arriving. He showed up right on time (a walked me through what he saw, and clearly explained the best options for repair. I had some pretty bad water damage under my kitchen sink and was honestly dreading the process of getting it fixed, but Scott made the process so easy. There was more damage than I originally thought. He calmly assessed the situation, laid out a detailed game plan, and handled it like a pro. He even sourced materials on the fly and kept me updated every step of the way. On top of that, he's super friendly, respectful of your space, and really takes pride in his work. The attention to detail was amazing. Place looked great when he wrapped up, nice and neat. The wife was very pleased. Hire Scott and relax as he is that someone to fix it.

I can't say enough good things about Vlad. He has helped us with several projects now, and each…read moretime he has gone above and beyond. We originally called for help removing an unusually placed back panel underneath our kitchen sink so we could access the plumbing. Once it was removed, I planned to install our new kitchen faucet myself, but quickly realized the space was so tight that I couldn't get the old fixture off. I called again the next day, and Vlad came out that morning and installed the new faucet for us. Then, later that same evening, I accidentally broke the cartridge while trying to install a new shower handle. We suddenly couldn't turn the water back on to the entire house. Even though Vlad had already worked a full day, he came by after his last job to help us figure out a way to at least get our water back on. What impressed me most was that he didn't just look for a quick temporary fix. He took his time, worked through the problem, and ultimately ended up fixing the shower handle and getting everything working properly. Vlad is knowledgeable, resourceful, patient, and genuinely cares about finding the right solution rather than just putting a bandage on a problem. After moving into a new home and tackling a seemingly endless list of projects, finding someone this dependable has been incredibly valuable. We'll absolutely be calling Vlad again for future projects and would highly recommend him.

Our AC drip line, which ties into the sink in our upstairs bathroom, had backed up and caused the sink to clog and overflow. I am extraordinarily detail oriented (thanks to my Dad who is a contractor) and Tom picked up on that instantly. He constantly checked in with my husband to ensure that he was doing what we wanted. DO NOT RECOMMEND - Unprofessional and Dishonest Experience…read more I was referred to this contractor by a friend and initially had a good impression and I was excited about working with him - he was helpful. Unfortunately, things went downhill after we started the project. He kept asking me to purchase more materials, and despite paying 90% of the agreed cost up front, he did not complete the job. He also increased the pricing beyond what we had originally agreed on. When I reminded him of our initial agreement, he argued, so I had to document everything in writing and reminded him AGAIN and AGAIN what he had promised. He miscalculated how much wallpaper was needed--at first, he said two rolls would be enough, but it turned out we needed four. So, I had to get more materials. This wasn't cheap wallpaper either; it was from Anthropologie at $350 a roll. I trusted his judgment and paid for the extra materials. He completed part of the job and even installed a cross for me, which I appreciated. I gave him an additional $25 tip and even more later. I later paid him $500 for the rest of the work, which he promised to return and finish. It took a while for him to come back. He finally did, which again I was thankful. But when he came back, the wallpaper installation was sloppy and horrible, with gaps clearly visible. I wasn't at home to address the issues. After I returned from a work trip and contacted him to address the issue, he ignored my messages completely even though he told my husband if we needed anything then tell him and he would fix his mistakes. He didn't. Not a person of his words, dishonest. I've been kind, respectful, patient, and fair throughout this process, but he did not honor his word. His poor work ethic is extremely disappointing. He has an excuse for everything and doesn't own up about his mistakes. This is a genuine warning to others so they don't have to go through the same experience. I've also spoken to the friend who referred him, so they're aware of what happened. And the people who have used his services are now warning me about him too. I was not surprised.
