First off, if you have equipment down, or have inability to see patients that don't have COVID put something up that says that. We wasted time just to be told that the doctor couldn't see anyone, because apparently they were too occupied with COVID patients; their pull in parking lot had 1 car. If you can only handle 1 car at a time and you're an "urgent care" it's probably best to shut down. An urgent care is meant to help all problems, not one "issue", don't make excuses. read more

I know going to any urgent care clinic is not ideal, but I must say, I was impressed with the quality of care at this one. Yes, the receptionists were a little unfriendly and didn't really care about answering questions, and yes there was a little bit of a wait time (less than 15 minutes), but I was TOTALLY satisfied with Diane McDonald, the PA who treated me. I went in for a UTI and she did a pelvic exam and was very gentle. She explained things, in detail, and suggested I see a specialist, but treated me right there (which is better than having to go to a gynecologist). She was SUPER knowledgeable and friendly and I was actually surprised that she was filling in at a ZipClinic at all. I eventually tracked down the private practice she works with and at made her my PCP though my insurance! ... she was THAT good. Another plus about this clinic is they accept VA care, which is helpful for veterans like me. I'm rating it at 4 stars though because the receptionists weren't great and the waiting room was unwelcoming ... but that has nothing to do with the physicians who actually treat you. All of that being said, if you must go to an urgent care, go to this one and ask for Diane, if she's available. It will be totally worth it. read more

I just took my husband here for congestion, sore throat, etc. We had gone here last month when I was feeling sick and had gotten a young, male doctor who was excellent so I didn't hesitate to take him here this time. We checked in ahead of time online and filled out the paperwork. When we arrived we had to wait 30 minutes to be seen, which was a pain but not too unusual. When we did get taken to a room, the medical assistant asked a few questions and took his blood pressure, temp, and did a pulse ox. She then said she would do a Covid and strep test. I asked her to also do a flu test as well. She did the tests, but made no other attempt to examine him. She never looked at his throat nor had eyes on it when administering the throat swab. She also never checked his heart or lungs even though he told her he was having trouble breathing and had a cough. After she administered the tests, the medical assistant left. We waited about twenty minutes anticipating the doctor to come in for the exam but when the FNP, Shannon Rodriguez, arrived she already had prescriptions in hand and told him his tests were negative but she was giving him SIX prescriptions and that he could leave now. Then she left, leaving the door open. We were a little shocked as she had not done any examination or asked any follow up questions. Her curt treatment of us left us questioning for a minute if that had just happened. I decided to walk out and flag down the nearest healthcare professional to let them know that my husband had not been examined and we were concerned he was not really receiving treatment only having prescriptions thrown at him. The person we spoke to was kind and said she would have the FNP, Shannon Rodriguez, come back in. When she came back in she was clearly unhappy we had said anything and not left. She immediately began to chastise us for asking for the exam and saying the prescriptions should be enough. She claimed she was trying to protect herself from Covid and that's why she did not perform an exam (even though his Covid test had been negative) and that by asking for her to "touch him" (her words) we were putting her at risk. She then went into how he had no complaints that would warrant her listening to his lungs and heart (not true) and that her medical assistant already saw his throat (again not true). She then tried to make a point saying that she trusted the MA and somehow tried to infer that we did not or that doing an exam somehow was related to mistrusting her. It obviously had nothing to do with the MA, instead we just expected the FNP to actually spend even a minute with my husband before over prescribing him and asking us to leave. I was apologetic and explained we simply wanted to be seen and get the basic level of treatment to ensure nothing else was wrong, but she was big mad at this point and lectured us about being in a pandemic and not having time to see patients before prescribing them meds. She did eventually listen to his heart and lungs and check his throat before making a sarcastic remark about being thoroughly done and then leaving without further comment. We got out of there fast and we will not be returning. This whole situation has been a major dissatisfier and I worry for anyone who is examined (or rather not examined) by Shannon Rodriguez. read more

Currently very sick. Called ahead to see if I needed to make an appointment or if I could walk in for a rapid Covid test. She told me I didnt need an appointment and to walk in. I Drag my sick butt out of bed and drove here. I arrive and they tell me they stopped taking walk-ins. I realize I'm speaking to the same person I spoke to on the phone. I mention our conversation 30mins ago and she leaned back in her chair with her arms crossed and gave a snarky response about how that decision was made in the last 10 minutes. Very rude! I understand the current circumstances, I gave the place a call, the receptionist told me to call once I arrive. However, when we arrived the parking spots in front were completely filled, so I assumed the parking that's adjacent to the building was fine. When the receptionist arrived she gave me extreme attitude had me move my car TWICE, when clearly she walked right past the spots that were taken. Normally, this wouldn't have bothered me had she been more polite about it, or advised on the phone when we spoke. Again, I understand the circumstances and the level of service, however she didn't need to be rude or raise her voice at us like she did. Receptionist is rude an unhelpful. Been to this clinic 4 different times for a bladder infection each time I was prescribed the same antibiotic. They pulled labs each time and can't tell me the type bacterial infection I have. This place deserves zero stars. read more

I do not recommend this place, I went for a Covid test with my roommate, he got his results the next day, I got no phone call or anything and then I had to call and ask for my results a few days later and then it took me calling 4 times to finally get them to send me my results to send to my job.. This place needs to be closed down!!!! They do not provide any care, They have a very rude and incompetent staff. The witch at the receptionist desk does not know how to do her job. She did not have my correct personal information in the system because she entered the wrong information. They make you do your "exam" outside the building, in front of God and everybody to see. There is no privacy!!! The P.A. That was on duty who had more than enough PPE on did not want to give a thorough exam. He stood as far away as possible from me, trying to "listen" to my heart with his arm extended as if I was toxic poison. Needless to say, he could not hear that I had pneumonia. You can't call this health care, they ONLY accept COVID patients. If you turn away patients who need health care, how can you call yourself health care? Must be because they are getting paid more to push the COVID numbers. They should be ashamed, but as long as they get paid, they are happy. read more

Be aware that if you pay the copay by credit card they add a hold for $250 that they do not release for 90 days. They could avoid having to do this by calling the insurance company to verify coverage. We left and went to another urgent care that was more interested I'm providing patient care than in tying up patient resources for 3 months. In addition, the receptionist was rude. read more

The initial care was very good but my wound wasn't healing properly so I returned two days later and the young lady at the reception desk was the rudest person I've had meet in the last few years she would not let me talk to anyone about the wound without paying and kept ranting "your looking for free medical care" I'm just expecting normal medical practices which if a wound is not healing at least tell me my options before I need to go further if I needed to be treated than yes I could pay my deductible again but if I could just wait for a few more days to see if the wound would be okay that would of been nice to know I will NEVER return to this clinic and I suggest you do not go it because if anything goes wrong it'll be a nightmare for you to try and resolve it It's just too bad some people are this way read more

I called the office off of Buckley at 5:30 p.m. and spoke With a staff member. I asked what time they would stay open because I needed to come in and have my ear looked at. I've been in Agony all day with an extreme ear pain. The person on the phone told me that they were open untill 7:00 p.m. for me come on down. I made my way To the facility about 5:50 and the doors were locked. there was a sign on the door which read "we're sorry we had to close our office at 4 o'clock due to an emergency". If I spoke to you at 5:30 how in the world could you close your office at 4:00??? sounds kind of shady and doesn't make any sense. I would never recommend anyone to use this facility. read more

I was told to wait 5-7 days for my COVID test results. Now, 12 days later when I call I can't get through and when I arrived in person I'm treated like I'm bothering them instead of a person needing answers. I guess I just expected more and am now seeing a greater lapse in the reason why we as a community are not fighting this virus in an effect manner. read more

Receptionist was not very friendly. I signed in online and was marked as a walk-in. Waited 30 minutes. The waiting room is small, cold and has nothing for children to keep entertained. Was called back by a tech. She didn't tell me her name or say hi, how are you. She told my 6 year old son not to cough on her while she was trying to stick a cotton swab down his throat. She was wearing a mask! The PA was very professional and the only good part of my visit was him. He listened to my concerns and addressed them. When I left the tech didn't say good bye or hope you feel better. Definitely will not be returning. read more

I went to ZipClinic Urgent Care yesterday, 3/22/18 and I must say, this was the best medical visit I've had at an urgent care facility. The entire staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The check-in process was easy...not a ton of paperwork to fill out. The wait time was about ten minutes, if that. I was seen by Dr. Foley. Receptionist unfriendly and uninformative. Took my insurance information and copay, but didn't say anything about how long the wait would be, who I would see, or anything else. Waited and waited and waited even though there seemed to be almost no one in the waiting room. Finally brought into an examining room and asked some questions by someone I think was a medical assistant (had no way of knowing since she didn't introduce herself). Waited some more. Finally a PA came in (I had to ask if she was a PA, as she also didn't introduce herself). Said the assistant needed to come back in to perform a procedure. Waited some more. Finally decided to leave. Asked for my money back. Got the copay refunded but the receptionist said I'd have to talk to to their billing department to make sure my insurance company wasn't billed. Unprofessional. Unfriendly. Inefficient. Note that the other reviewer who gave this place 5 stars has done no other reviews and refers to a "doctor" which ZipClinic doesn't have. read more

The ZipClinic Urgent Care located by Buckley and Mississippi near Safeway was perfect! I used their automated early sign-in to lock in a set time to come in, which was honored. The staff was completely polite and professional. After meeting the medical professionals there, my pink eye infection was treated with better medicine than a previous urgent care I visited prior to them; the previous prescription had no effect on my eye after 3 days, so the ZipClinic professionals made a change that gave me almost immediate improved results to my eye and my vision. Furthermore, this ZipClinic actually showed up on my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance under PPO. I highly recommend them if you are in need of medical help. BK read more

We're from California and I exhibited early Pink Eye symptoms the morning we were headed to a ski area to chaperone a church group over the Martin Luther King weekend. ZipClinic Urgent Care was great! I received good care and was in and out in 30 minutes. We have a high deductible for our health insurance, so I opted to pay a flat fee out of pocket and submit my receipt. Dr Foley was kind and thorough. The eye drops ZipClinic gave me were effective. This clinic is a joke. I went there only because I was unable to find a doctor with an open appointment. I was seen for vomiting and spent less than 15 minutes in the exam room. They took my temperature and my blood pressure and told me I needed to go to the ER immediately. They said they were concerned about my gal bladder or appendix and got me really scared. After spending hours in the emergency room racking up more medical bills, I was simply diagnosed with the stomach flu. The clinic did nothing to take care of me as a patient. I paid my co pay and was later sent a bill for $200. I am currently disputing the charges. I refuse to pay that amount to have them take my temperature and blood pressure. A week after receiving my bill I checked my bank account and they charged the $200 bill to the card I used for my copay without any authorization. I am so beyond livid at that way I have been treated. I feel completely taken advantage of when I was in need, and not only did they completely disregard my need for their care, they then proceeded to charge me for care I didn't receive. read more
