Its a real family run establishment and have a comfortable vibe when you go in. We tend to order the crispy duck, beef chow mein, prawn toast and chicken satay with some crispy seaweed. My SO thinks their prawn toast is the best thing ever, the density of prawn on there is unbelievable about half an inch thick and the portion is so huge you really get spoiled. I wont ever change my local Chinese as this place really has it for me. my favourite part of the yum yum tree is the bar. The place was fairly busy for being between normal breakfast and lunch hour but it may be because they're new. Sat in the window by the door and around noon the 'baby pram armada' moved in, so I had a joke with the manager about housing more kids than an average nursery. But that's Chiswick. Hopefully the housewives will then have left the kids at home.

Nothing like a massive restaurant with at least 20+ tables and only one other party in the entire place. That would have been nice if it were a tiny romantic place but it is a big restaurant. Well one of the pluses of an empty restaurant is that we did get lots of attention from the charming Italian waiters. The "free appetizer and dessert" that Cheryl refers to is standard--they dropped off a little gnochi amuse buche and then a truffle and a little pastry at the end. The food was good--had a salad with goat cheese and fried artichokes and sea bass. The best was the spicy spaghetti with tomatoes and fresh mozzarella that my dining partner had--nice and spicy and the spaghetti was al dente to perfection. Had the whilte espresso gelato for dessert--still not sure how they made it--they wouldn't give me the recipe. The food was good just not 5 stars and the empty restaurant just killed any hope of atmosphere. Sweet people though....

The café has attractive, interesting and imaginative modern décor both upstairs and downstairs. There is bottled lager and a wide variety of wine. I enjoyed both. It's a fairly new place and the deal is amazing value: £12.50 for as much antipasti as you can eat. Super proprietor Dominic said, just say stop when you've had enough! The plates of antipasto just kept on coming until we could eat no more. There were 6 of us. I thought every plate was delicious. After calling stop, Dominic insisted we try another couple of dishes. The hot and cold antipasti did not major on meats, there was a wide variety including tuna salad, pasta dishes, grilled thinly sliced squash, funghi, a stuffed seafood dish, Italian sausage dishes, aubergines and more. I stopped counting at 14 different dishes and there were plenty more. I was compelled to make room for some dessert samples - again delicious. All the staff were great; what a pleasure it was to eat there. I always think an Italian restaurant would be the first place to try in a strange town if you wanted a happy dining experience; although not a strange town, it was a very happy dining experience. It was different to the standard "eat until your eyes pop out of your head'. My daughter's eyes lit up when she spied someone with a dish of gnocchi; Dominic gave her a serving to take home. All in all, Café Class was a great find, and I am keen to go back. If anyone wants to take me, I'm theirs.
