There isn't much of a view outside, but it is attractively decorated within the building. The waiters are all very friendly, helpful and chatty and most seem to be genuinely Italian, which does add to the experience somewhat. The food is reasonably priced, so overall makes for a very nice night out.

I fancied sharing a Fritto Misto to start, but neither of my two companions were interested. However the manager offered to do a half portion for me so I could indulge myself. One of my companions ordered the tomato and pesto bread, which I have to say was a spectacular colour mix on the board that it arrived on. I followed this up with another favourite, the Risotto di Pesce with a side order of garlic bread. Having mentioned that I didn't want cheese on any of this, the manager intuited that I might have dairy problems and asked me if I was OK with the butter used in the risotto - that was a star added to the review right there! We were joined later by another friend, and the staff didn't bat an eyelid at this late addition to the group (we were well into our main course by then). She ordered the chicken salad, which arrived promptly so she could eat before the rest of us had finished our meals. Great food as always, super friendly staff, cool ambience in the restaurant. The toilets were clean, and I was particularly impressed by the rectangular sinks and the designer combination tap - very stylish and I haven't seen those before anywhere else, so thumbs-up for the design choices. In fact, I'm giving two thumbs up and a full five stars for this Zizzi. Excellence on all fronts.

I say mph and not km because I got used to the imperial system after visiting with my friend Jeff in Palm Beach several times but had to stop visiting him because of my tendency to be too honorable. The customer service was exceptional, the employee repeated my order back to me and said, "Mate, you look awful hungry. Let me upgrade that medium cheese to a large for ya ole chap. No sweat!" It was a very unusual thing for me to do to be in Woking at this time. My friends ask me, "Hey, remember that golf trip?" "Hey, remember that time on the Yacht?" "Ole' chap, remember that time we partied at Windsor?" and I just can't remember those times but the one hour and 52 minutes I spent at Pizza Express 20 years ago I'll never forget. You can have the worst memory and won't forget your experience at Pizza Express in Woking even 20 years later. Only complaint is that the AC isn't the best but I never did have a sweating problem, I got shot at in the Falklands which led to a peculiar medical condition due to my overdose of adrenaline which has made it now to where I can't sweat. I can only say I have always been very disappointed by the food served in the past at Enzo's. In my opinion there is far better Italian food available in Woking at far better prices and this has not changed. Overcooked fish, tinned tasting sauces etc are just some of the delights served and as the chef is the same this hasn't changed either. However the Vietnamese specials, which Lee prepared to her Grandmother's recipes are fantastic. Light, fresh and very traditional and a great change as this type of food is not readily available in Woking, more is the pity. I wont say there aren't some teething problems while the new owners settle in, but all in all give it a go - you might be surprised.
