Me and my girl are from Southern California and had planned a trip to Zion National Park this past weekend. Initially, when we had planned the trip, we had booked a campsite at the KOA in St. George.......then we realized that it was going to be almost 100 degrees those days we were going. So the thought of tent camping in that heat was suddenly a terrible idea! Lol She came across Zion Tiny Getaways website and immediately fell in love with it. The website was a little confusing at first but for those whose are looking into it.....the Apple Valley section is right off the road and the Hurricane section is "off the grid", meaning they are more secluded, miles away from the road. We stayed in the Suzy Q tiny home in the Apple Valley section (about 40 minutes from Zion) and it exceeded our expectations. The patio was great for relaxing and having steaks on the grill after a day of hiking In Zion. Inside was very welcoming and had everything we needed for our stay, (utensils, plates, smart tv with sound at, coffee pot, stove, and microwave). The skylights right above our bed were amazing for stargazing. I only had to contact the host once via text and he responded very quickly. We are already planning a trip back in September and plan on staying here again. Loved it!

Overall the stay was very enjoyable and as advertised. For a couple old guys, the sleeping quarters were tough to negotiate. Very steep access and very low ceilings. We enjoyed our stay and learned a few things about tiny home living by the time we left. One thing we felt would add a great deal to the property would be a cover over the back deck, and possibly even the front door. It rained a lot during our stay, and the outside amenities were inaccessible for two of our three nights. Great place and very nice people to work with.

Absolutely LOVE coming here for vacation. I've made it a trip every year for the past 3 years and I hope to continue this new "tradition" going! I've stayed on both locations and had the best experience! I now have a dog and love to travel with him and they are pet friendly which is so convenient. The tiny homes are so clean, comfortable and spacious enough for a great getaway. Highly recommend this place for a nice escape!!

Oh my goodness!! These tiny house are not only off the grid they are also off the charts! They are Truly a tiny house! They are located near so many outdoor activities! Minutes from Zion, Gooseberry Mesa for hiking or mountain biking, paddle boarding and many more things. This is a super cute place that is perfect for glamping. We had 4 people in our group and it was so much fun! The tiny home came fully furnished with French Press coffee maker, plates, towels, blankets, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, snacks, tea, fully furnished kitchen with plates, salt and pepper and everything else! The only thing I would change is the website! It needs way more details such as what is included like hot dog skewers, camping chairs, and a can opener. The owner was very available and answered my questions extremely quickly. He was very helpful. We took one of the hikes they recommended near Zion and it did not disappoint! This is a must experience! Prices were extremely affordable!!

My cabin (premium Single sans bathroom) was quite small, but I spent hardly any time in there. I travelled in early January and it was pretty cold outside so next time I might opt for the room with an attached bathroom, but the communal facilities were close and clean. Zion is about 40 minutes away which might be a plus in the high season and Apple Valley has a lot to offer too. Just down the hill is town and plenty to do/eat/see. They seem like a family operation which means quick and personal communication and consistent improvements to the property. They had a mini golf course, great communal room, pickleball and fire pits for each cabin. They are adding a pool/spa which looks like it'll be ready by summer 2026. They also offer laundry which was great but the machines were a little grubby but useful, I don't fault the property for the DIRTY DIRTY things other guests must be putting in the machines. Overall, the price was fair and I would consider staying there again in the future. I extended my stay in the area and stayed at a hotel in Hurricane and had way more fun at Gooseberry and felt more at home. I will also add that they offer snacks & drinks which were priced fairly and very convenient.

Each cabin is designed perfectly, and the one we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and just the right size for our family. If you're looking for something not too big but perfect for a family of five or six, this is the place to go. There are grills and bonfire pits right in front of each cabin, which made our evenings under the stars unforgettable. The views of the sky at night are absolutely breathtaking. They also have a great park area for kids, and they're even building a pool, which will be an amazing addition once it's done. The check-in area is really nice, too, and the lady who helped us was super friendly and welcoming. Inside, they have pool tables and other fun amenities like golf, so there's plenty to do on-site. Overall, Gooseberry Lodges exceeded our expectations. If you're considering a getaway near Zion, you won't be disappointed!
