He provides as little or as much assistance each person needs to have a great time, while maintaining safety as the highest priority. This was an opportunity for our group to get more hands-on experience than we've ever had at a commercial glass blowing operation. There's also an element of background and glass theory that provides each student with a deeper understanding of the grade and characteristics of glass. There are easy projects and harder ones. The easy ones are trays and coasters, or little dishes. Medium are dogs, horses, etc. Harder are lazy Susans, 3D objects, etc. I think it can take one hour, or 3+ for the harder ones (if you are particular!) They also have wood painting for smaller kids who you want to bring along but don't trust handling glass!

He pressure washed the house, then caulked the prepped the house for paint, then sprayed the house with two coats. The last two days were spent doing trim and wow did it look good. He came to give a bid on the same day that I called. Very good response! His bid came in the lowest among the 3 painters that I had called. He started the job 1 week after I agreed for him to paint my house. He did 1 day of powerwashing, 1 day or prep work, 1 day of spray painting, and 1 day of trim work. He shielded areas that do not need to be painted (e.g. windows, shrubs) with plastic, tape or clothe. He cleaned up daily and left no mess. He was also very easy to work with and is willing to put in additional work for very little cost. All in all I am very satisfied with his work and would highly recommend him to anyone.

These rings are very special to us, one is the promise ring I gave my fiancé 12 years ago and the other is her engagement ring. I spoke with Barbara, I explained to her that the engagement ring had a small diamond on the side missing. She asked me multiple times where I got the ring and the age of the ring. I was a little uncomfortable to admit I had bought it from a pawn shop, so I didn't know the answers...I know, probably not the best place, but my fiancé loves the ring and had no complaints, but thanks for making me feel like a bum Barbara. Barbara explained they needed to hold the rings for a few days to get an official quote. I thought this was odd, I had been to a few places that same day and received quotes without holding onto the rings. A few days pass and I didn't receive a call so I thought to call in and check. I spoke with Barbara again, she explained that she had some personal problems that were taking up time in her life and she didn't have the quote yet. I explained I just needed the rings back my fiancé was uncomfortable without them for this long and maybe she could send me a quote later. She put together a number very quickly that was 3 times over the other quotes I had received. I told her I wasn't interested and that I would be by to pick up the rings. She explained that while they were cleaning one of the rings a very small diamond fell out. This was the exact reason I was having the ring quoted and had explained that to her. Okay, no problem accidents happen, thinking of course they would fix it, why would I be burdened by their mistake. I didn't ask for the ring to be cleaned so of course I would not have to pay to have it repaired. We had the ring cleaned at our local Fred Meyers, they had the same issue happen and fixed the ring at no cost to us, so this is what I expected from a much higher end jewelry store . The cleaning wasn't something I experienced with the other quotes so I found it odd they had cleaned them without my permission in the first place. I go down to pick up my rings, I receive two bags, 1 with a ring and the other with a ring and a small piece of paper containing a diamond. What am I supposed to do with this? I can't take it back to my fiancé like this, I wouldn't survive. Barbara wasn't available so I told them I would like to leave the ring until it has been repaired to the condition I left it in. This was on a Friday, so of course I would have to wait until Tuesday when they are back open. Tuesday comes, this is now over a week and my fiancé was hesitant on giving the rings for a day! I get a call from Robert. He tells me the ring has a design flaw and the diamond was going to fall out anyway! Well, no duh, that's why I brought it to have it quoted. I didn't expect it to be further damaged, I was trying to stop the damages. We have a heated conversation because I feel they should fix the diamond and apologize for damaging it and performing tasks I didn't ask for. He is now refusing to fix the ring, even though I never asked to have it cleaned, but because I'm being unreasonable after he provided the same sob story about a their personal life. I now have to tell my fiancé, which puts me in dog house, and I have to find someone else to repair it. My fiancé will have to go another week or so without her ring all because this business is having personal problems? I understand things happens and makes life difficult, but why are you taking that out on your customers? I think this could have been avoided by simply repairing the ring without me having to ask and argue. This feel like a very bad business to work with and would never recommend them to anyone.

Located on 6th street, this shop is your one stop shop for all things Idaho, handmade and incredibly special. You can find blown glass, textiles, soaps, lotions, chocolate, peanuts, ornaments, shave oils, cutting boards, games, mugs, vases, ornaments and so much more. Most of my favorite makers were there (think Ladybug Press, Sawtooth Glass Project, City Peanut Shop, All Spun Up, Sage Woolens, etc.) It felt like a holiday craft bazaar that is open year round and housing the very best products. I found the selection to be varied and affordable. You could find things for men, women, children, pets and even yourself! It bears repeating that you are paying for handcrafted, small-business wares. It is not going to have the same price tag as a manufactured good from a big box store. It will be a higher price tag. I like to think that I'm paying for a story. My purchased items contain all the love, hope, and hard work that each maker poured into their product.
