My best friend is an interior designer who specializes in kitchens, so she had told me everything to look for in a painter, and Ron checks all the boxes. First of all, he was the ONLY person who specifically answered all the questions in my Yelp inquiry, everyone else just said, "please contact us to schedule a quote". Secondly, after spending a good chunk of his time answering my questions, I was thrilled to hear that he would take my doors & drawer fronts to be done in a climate-controlled warehouse to cure, also something most painters don't do. We trusted our home to Ron & his crew to do our cabinets while we were on vacation and they were very respectful of our property, and nothing was out of place when we returned. The work area was cleaned up, and free of fumes, and most importantly, my cabinets look amazing! My husband and I got to know him a bit while he reinstalled the cabinet doors and drawer fronts and he is an upstanding, hardworking guy- the kind of person you want working for you. Cares a lot about quality and customer service. I told him he nailed it with us- we are already planning to have him back to do our trim. Thank you Ron & Dan!

Not only did everything turn out exceptionally well, they blew all of our expectations away. Hands down the best painters we have ever used for any home we have owned. Our walls are clean, fresh looking, free from drips and imperfections and our cabinets look factory new and we couldn't be happier. Recently we re-hired them to refinish all of our garage doors. Again impeccable work by Michael and the Decra Tech Team. They communicated with us every step of the way and were cleaner than any painting company we have ever contracted with. They were fair, didn't price gouge or surprise us with any add on invoices. We can't recommend this company enough!

Dave built an incredible pergola and fence in my driveway. The project was tricky because the…read moredriveway isn't square, but a little wedge shaped. Aside from other good reviews and pergola jobs on Next-door, I picked him because his proposal included detailed plan and profile drafting markups of how he envisioned the pergola. He gave me three options considering different wood choices (cedar, douglas fir, etc.). He showed up when he said he would and worked continuously through the project. He continually communicated with me on schedule and project decisions. To call his attention to detail impeccable hardly seems to do it justice. Every surface was beautifully sanded and stained. He used black steel hardware everywhere he could. Where a few of the bolts couldn't be purchased in black, he painted them black so that everything would match. I didn't even know they made black silicone, which he used to seal any seems where wood butted against other wood. He custom crafted the corner supports. Instead of bolting beams onto the driveway, he cut the concrete, dug a deep hole, and poured concrete around a massive steel footing for each post. He custom built the gate around the style of fence I'd asked for so that it blends in perfectly. He carefully preserved the grapes and wisteria that were growing on the old fence so that when he was finished I was able to move it all onto the new structure. While building, Dave covered the wood with a tarp even when there was no chance of rain, which saved me a lot of money when my sprinklers threw a fit and doused the driveway he was working on in the middle of the night. His labor cost was extremely reasonable, and he's a fantastic person.

Matt and his Father are actual jack of all trades, and their work speaks for its self. They installed a new front door on my OLD home built in the 1950s. Nothing is strait or level on my home, and it came out looking amazing. I even bought the wrong door frame and they were still able to make it work and do a bit of extra trim work as I had already painted the door and could not return it. I would highly recommend Talbot Handyman to anyone, and they will be getting all my business for my real estate and property management clients as well as my own personal work!

When we met Matt he genuinely seemed like a good guy, I truly believe that this job was bigger than…read morehe could handle and he should've said so upfront instead of following through with this in a very unprofessional way. We hired him and his father to build us an outdoor kitchen. They quoted us 6 to 8 weeks in the beginning and we were very patient with him all last summer when we started the project. All the sudden they started dragging their heels and things weren't getting done. Messages would go unanswered and he would say he was coming and not show up. Matt had issues with the countertops to begin with and changed to butcher block assuring us that the butcher block was made for outdoors. We never even got to use the kitchen before the countertops were completely cracked and warped . Instead of fixing it he knocked the price down because he did not want to have to take care of the countertops. We did agree and asked him if he could at least come and fix the concrete that wasn't setting right. After I realized what a nightmare job he did on the pizza oven I asked him if he could repair it, not once did he answer me or acknowledge the issues with the pizza oven. He told me prior to us hiring that he had indeed built another pizza oven. I am doubting that at this point since the pizza oven is now cracking and heat and smoke ks coming out of the cracks. This pizze oven also smokes from the front when the smoke should be going out of the chimney. After researching I found out that a chimney for a pizza oven needs to be a minimum of 6 inches in diameter and he put a 3 inch flue on there. This whole process has been a disaster. The bricks are now falling off on the kitchen sides and we have continually had to glue them back on. We had another contractor out to finish the countertops for us and he pointed out that the kitchen sink is not plumbed right and there's no way to blow out the pipes ao they won't freeze. They also put no insulation around pipes going to the house.
