DO NOT STAY HERE - Dishonest Management, No Power, Zero Accountability…read more We booked this hotel for one night in August, when daytime highs were in the 90s and nighttime temps still hovered around 80 degrees. At check-in around 3:30 PM, we were NOT told of a planned power outage until I happened to notice a small paper at the front desk. Only after asking did the front desk admit there would be no power that night--but reassured us there'd be backup power for essentials like air conditioning (since it would be unsafe and miserable otherwise). That turned out to be a lie. At 11:30 PM the power cut out completely--no AC, no lights, no security cameras, nothing. When we asked, the front desk said we were simply out of luck ("SOL"), and if we didn't like it, we could leave--but they wouldn't refund us. Staff even admitted the manager, Dave, is too cheap to provide even the bare minimum for guests. The next morning, I confronted Dave directly. He told me to call my credit card company for a full refund. He said he would authorize for a full refund but when I called, my card company informed me that Dave only authorized HALF the booking. When I returned to confront him, Dave blatantly lied to my face, claiming he had approved the refund and that my card company was the one lying. I actually recorded this exchange and gave it to my credit card company as proof of his dishonesty. This hotel is not only unsafe (imagine paying for a room in desert heat with no AC or security), it is run by a manager who is dishonest, deceptive, and insulting to paying guests. His own employees openly dislike him, which tells you everything about the toxic way this place is run. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the sleepless night. There are plenty of other places near Zion where the management actually cares about their guests' safety and experience. This hotel is an absolute disgrace.

I am someone who can typically sleep anywhere so that is saying something. I really could not get to sleep and there were already 3 people in the King size bed. Around right before midnight, I looked into booking my own room for the night. With it being so late, it was only like $90 - and I signed up for something that gave me an extra 20% off so I only paid about $80 for a King size room. They upgraded me too since there ended up not being any regular King size rooms available so that was awesome. The bed was so comfortable and spacious (especially since just me enjoying it), and I loved that you could control the air condition in the room. I ended up calling the next morning and extending for the other 2 nights we were staying (originally I was buying an air mattress to just put in place of the pull out couch for the other 2 nights). They could not offer that steal of a deal but I signed up for their Wyndham rewards and still got some discount which was nice. The service was great - everyone was friendly and helpful. The location was clean and nice. The breakfast had a variety which was nice - cereal, muffins, waffles, eggs, sausage, basic breakfast drinks, bagels, etc. All your basics for a continental breakfast. The 1 star was knocked simply just for the pull out not being comfortable to sleep on so I had to spend more money for something - whether it was a room for 1 night and an air mattress from target the other 2 OR the route I took of my own room now for the 3 nights total. I'd absolutely be back though in my own room again!

There are a lot of convenience stores that are closer, then lit of restaurants and food delivery options. The breakfast buffet is comparable to other Comfort Inns, definitely worth the price and good breakfast. The bed arrangement for four was perfect with two beds .
