My friends had a wedding here recently and everything was perfect. The food, venue, DJ, stay and team overall were on point. You know the team works well when shortly after pictures or videos are taken they are quickly uploaded to be shared with the party the same day. I've never seen a team work this efficiently. Wedding food is always important I had the short rib here and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Everything you possibly need for a wedding is on the premise. The after party taco bar was a nice addition. Each of the cabins in the main barn had fast WiFi, AC units and clean bathrooms. "Your wedding was the best wedding I've been too" That was the compliment we constantly got after our big day from many of our friends and family. And let me tell you, my friends have been to many weddings, so for them to say that ours was one of the best is a high rating. There were so many parts that made our wedding amazing and the credit goes to Zion Springs. Let me tell you why, 1. PACKAGE DEAL A big part of why our wedding was so successful was because how well it flowed. The Zion Springs team is deeply mindful of creating a magical day. They purposefully start the ceremony right when the sun is setting so that when the bride goes down the aisle, the lighting is PERFECT. They set the dances and speeches after dinner so that there is full attention on them. And so much more. And the team works seamlessly together to get everything going smoothly. That is what you get when doing a package deal rather than getting random vendors and try to make them work together. As the bride, I didn't have to worry about what would go where and what needed to be done. Zion Springs handled it all. And that gave me the freedom to just enjoy the party. 2. CLEAR COSTS I hate when there are surprise costs and figuring out tip and all that, which is why Zion Springs was so great in this regard. They gave me a clear invoice which I could pay off month to month which included everything. No hidden fees. No surprise bills. It was refreshing to have honest people give me honest costs. 3. AMAZING OWNERS John and Chris cared so much about making sure we had an amazing wedding. They truly went above and beyond what any owner could do. I felt so cared for. 4. AMAZING COORDINATOR WHO KNOWS HER STUFF Laura is the MVP. She knows how to pull together an event and handle last minute questions and issues. She is there when you need her, but also gives you your space so you can enjoy your wedding. She is the best balance of both authoritative and relaxed. She is someone you will want on your side on your big day and you can trust she will get things done. 5. AMAZING VIDEOGRAPHERS The videographers are out here risking their lives, running in the hot sun and almost running into trees, so they can get the perfect shot all while wearing all black outfits. They were so hardworking and got the best video shots I cannot believe how beautiful they were! 6. AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHERS The photos. The photos. The photos. I haven't gotten the full album yet, but from what I've seen in the sneak peak... my god... my husband and I look like models ya'll. The visuals, the colors, are so vivid and romantic. And all thanks to Bethany and Doug and their team. Bethany has that fun energy that also makes you feel relaxed enough to be yourself when taking photos. She is sweetness itself. And she knew exactly where to snap the prettiest photos. 7. BARTENDERS I heard from so many people how much they loved the bartenders. They were friendly, open and energetic. They danced to the music and never let the line get too long. My friends and fam loved them. 8. FOOD Usually Im disappointed in wedding food because they come out overcooked and bland but not here. We got the beef short rib and salmon and it was so moist and delicious! Ice-cream was served for dessert and the line was instant! But man. The real winner though was the after party tacos. They had it all. Meat. Guac. Chips. Salsa (fancy flavored ones). My aunt was so happy being fed deliciousness before returning home. She stayed until 1am to eat them. Which was surprising because most family leave early at wedding. But the tacos... the tacos keep them around. OVERALL I honestly cannot say enough about how great this place was. It's a beautiful venue and an all inclusive package deal that lets you having a worry-free wedding. Before I found them, I was overwhelmed by the venue search process. I couldn't believe I had to figure out the prices of the venue, but the caterer, florist, photographer and dj too?? And they all had such confusing prices I wanted to just throw in the towel and not plan a wedding at all. And then I found Zion Springs and they solved all my problems. All I had to worry about was finding my dress and a hair/makeup person and I was set. They had everything else covered and I trusted they would make my vision a reality. It was a year ago that my husband and I invited the most important people of our lives to celebrate our marriage with us. For the event of the century, in our minds, the Tigges and the entire Zion Springs staff created a weekend that far exceed all those dreams I had as a little girl. We went with the all inclusive package and it was a great decision for us. A wedding planner, THE wedding planner, was included. Elise was the best gift a bride could ask for; she brought all the ideas, laughs and non of the stress. Elise met with us several times and walked me through all the wedding tasks to ensure we had a prefect weekend. She was by our side through the entire weekend and I never had to answer a question because Elise had it all taken care of. The catering crew was beyond top notch. We had phenomenal food and beverages all weekend long. You have to ask for the Short Ribs! The servers and bartenders made our guests feel like they were at a 5 star restaurant and took care of everything. The photographer, Doug, is so great. He provides such a warm spirit and has an incredibly East going personality. Our photos captures all of the amazing moments we had hoped for and has helped us encapsulate memories we can look back in for a lifetime. Our wedding party stayed in the guest rooms all weekend and that was the icing on the cake. Chris Tigges provides yummy breakfast and lunch throughout the weekend. The rooms were beautiful and a wonderful addition to an already amazing wedding venue. Our goal was to have family and friends walk away with the best time. We still get feedback from our guests about how amazing it was because of the venue, music, food and overall ambiance. A year later, my husband and I still talk about what an amazing time we had and how we'd give anything to go back and live that memory all over again! Elijah and I got married here on 3/15/2025 as winners of their first ever #BestDayEverGiveaway and I write this review with a box of tissues by my side because my heart is so full and I cannot stop crying So apologies for any typos. First off the Tigges family is so warm and amazing. The weddings that they host are like no other. The ceremony was stunning. Sophia did amazing with our flowers! Our DJ, Mr. Jon Tigges himself, was amazing and kept the party alive all night. Sophie the baby sitter kept the kids entertained and safe in the play room. The food, prepared by head chef Anna Tigges and the Zion Springs staff was sooooooooo good! We were able to select appetizers and entrees that spoke to our crowd, and even a few custom food requests from our personal journey. Nate and the bar team kept the drinks flowing for all of our guests. The decor was just gorgeous. Our table settings was so pretty. The venue itself is just plain perfect. Plenty of space to connect and have fun. Zion Springs arranged all of the major services using their well tested process and our phenomenal Event Coordinator Laura made everything so easy for us. Laura, we will always love you. Thank you for such an amazing night. It was more than we could have ever asked for. We have a heart full of gratitude for this place and all of the people here. I had the pleasure of staying here for a night and am already thinking of ways to go back! The owners are welcoming and warm. It's a perfect venue for a wedding! They have a gorgeous property and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful!! The prices are reasonable. The bathroom for my room seems newly updated, the tub was huge and the place was so clean and comfortable. I hated to leave! They have several spaces on the property to sit and just be outside, they have a huge barn with tables and chairs outside to sit. Last night, for the 4th of July, they had some special fireworks for the guests. Can't recommend it enough! read more

My husband and I tied the knot here about a month ago and we are still floating. The place is obviously beautiful but the people are what make it amazing. We dealt the most with Laura and Doug leading up to the big day and all I can say is that they are masters of their craft. They made my life SO EASY in regards to the planning process. And on the weekend of, Sophie, Lorelei, Sabrina, Jon, Chris, Tommy and the whole crew worked so hard to make for an absolutely seamless few days. I felt so relaxed and stress free through the whole weekend. I couldn't recommend this place more. I came to Zion Springs not realizing how exhausted my mental state had been. As soon as I woke up, I was welcomed by the smiling faces of the hosts, a beautiful breakfast, a comfortable home, and gorgeous Virginia scenery. I've stayed at a few B&B's before, but never one that embraces community as much as Zion Springs. The grounds are peaceful and full of flowers, trees, birds, and butterflies. I became relaxed and rejuvenated completely by the end of my stay. If you need a weekend getaway, or are looking for a beautiful wedding spot, I highly recommend coming to Zion Springs. Wow! Where to begin. We used Zion Springs as our wedding venue and couldn't be happier! The owners welcome you into their home and treat you as family. They are passionate caring people who helped me through every single step of my wedding. We were lucky to see the process of building their absolutely stunning barn, where our reception was held. My guests were completely blown away by the venue. Jon's team worked hard to make my whole weekend so special! We rented out the whole B&B and my family and friends fell in love with the rooms and service. Might I add that the food was amazing as well! Breakfast everyday was phenomenal with eggs, sausage, bacon, waffles, and ample coffee! We booked a couple of nights at Zion Springs B&B to enjoy a getaway and relax. Upon driving up, we were happy to see that their property is beautiful and well-manicured. It's attention to detail like this that means a lot. When we checked in and during our morning breakfasts it was very nice to talk to John and Chris, the owners/innkeepers. Chris did a great job preparing really nice breakfasts in the morning and sitting around their large breakfast table with other guests and their family was an enjoyable way to start the day. The room we stayed in was quaint and comfy, as well as clean and stocked with everything we needed. Bathroom in the room was clean and worked perfectly as well. If you're looking for a place to hold an event, like a wedding, their barn and event area looks amazing! The area they're in seems to be about the middle of Loudoun County, which is perfect for making any destination within the County a short trip. There's PLENTY to do in Loudoun and in nearby Leesburg and we would recommend staying at Zion Springs as a way to take in all the area has to offer. read more

Made a last minute reservation after one too many vineyards and I have to say - it was the best decision ever! The place is great, but it's really the people who run it that makes the difference. Mrs. Tigges made us an amazing breakfast which we are with the other guests. We sat for over an hour drinking coffee and getting to know some really interesting people. The atmosphere is very nice - upscale but homey and personal. The room was great, comfy, spacious with a lovely view of the rolling hills. First I'll start off by saying this is a beautiful place. Had dreams of having my wedding here. After going to look and booking my date it was apparent Jon couldn't get my contract or pricing accurate. We were sent other people's contracts, wrong information added in to the price, verbally promised things but never had them written in the contract. After having many mistakes done by him he DECLINED to have my wedding here AFTER the deposit was paid!!!! WHO DOES BUSINESS LIKE THAT?! Be careful booking your wedding day here and read into the contracts very carefully before you show up and your day doesn't have what's promised. read more

Our only regret about Zion Springs B&B is that we didn't get to stay longer! Everything was excellent, from our cozy accommodations to the wonderful breakfast prepared by Chris, and the absolutely beautiful place they choose to share as they minister to others. My wife and I had visited upwards of six venues looking for the one that was "just right" for our big day, but after touring Zion Springs, and meeting the Tigges family, by the time we closed the car door, we knew it was it. As we neared the wedding date, we began working more and more with John, Chris, and their family, as they all coordinate efforts for weddings onsite. We were also lucky to work with their family friend Bart, who was also extremely helpful, and on point when it came to timing, logistics, coordinating, etc. Having a single vendor like Zion Springs for everything from accommodations, coordinating, photography, music, etc. definitely makes things easier, but we were thoroughly impressed with how the Tigges family pulls it all together. Their experience led to everything being well coordinated, resulting in a great time had by all. My family to this day still talks about how great their home/accomidations are, and how they were also excellent hosts. We all had such a great time that we definitely envision having family get-together weekends at their Bed and Breakfast in the future. From the moment we arrived for our tour of Zion Springs, we knew we had found "home" to our wedding! Jon and the entire staff welcomed us like old friends and we felt right at home. They happened to have a spring date still available when we toured in December and without hesitation we booked an early May date. My baby brother got married at this bed and breakfast tucked into a beautiful and well landscaped property far out in Loudoun County. The entire process was wonderful, the owners, staff and family of the home were more than accommodating, being so involved with so many details. I think about 100 guests packed tightly but well for the seated dinner and speeches. The decorations were exactly as had been planned and tasteful country bouquets spanned the ceremony and reception areas. A big white tent beside the house allowed for some shade In the sweltering day and we ate really good barbecue, as chosen as a favorite of both my brother and his bride. If you're looking for a recommendation on a good place to visit: This is one of them. The rooms all have history worked into the antique feel of each themed room. Great drive, great views, the black cherry trees planted on the far corner of the lot are planted beautifully and added a cool entrance appeal to all the guests of the wedding. My husband surprised me with a quick visit to Zion Springs B&B. Yes he's amazing. ;) To say we had a transforming, rejuvenating visit is a complete understatement. I can honestly say I've never met more gracious, kind or hardworking hosts as the Tigges family. From the moment we arrived (which was later than expected!) Chris greeted us with a smile and wave on the front porch of this breathtaking property and the barre had been set. Their B&B was warm, cozy, inviting and relaxing. Breakfast was exquisite. The beds/mattresses are what you'd expect at a five star hotel. Our room overlooked the back patio, massive rolling backyard and the Barn. Their 'Barn' was like nothing we've ever seen. On Chris's suggestion we toured it before we left. As soon as you slide open the magnificent doors, you are immediately greeted with the welcoming scent of cedar. The massive vaulted ceilings are strung in fairytale twinkle lights. The warm wood, open concept, indoor/outdoor space is the very definition of rustic elegance. I told my hubby we should think about renewing our wedding vows to utilize this space. :) We will recommend, and return to Zion Springs without hesitation. Thank you Tigges family!! read more

Chris and John Tigges run a fantastic B&B with comfortable accommodations and spectacular rolling views that only Virginia can provide. My husband and I stayed in the Lee Suite while my sister and her husband stayed in the Davis Suite. This was a 1-night get away for our respective anniversaries. We could choose to relax on the expansive deck, patios, fire pit by the creek or walk through the walnut orchard. Her croissant french toast with strawberries was divine! Zion Springs is so close to Purcellville, we were able to shop, have dinner at Magnolia's Mill then sit and enjoy a glass of wine on the porch while watching the stars. On a side note, although we weren't there for a wedding event, their layout is a perfect setting to host a wedding. Plenty of space in romantic settings next to the creek, tree line and fields would be a bride's dream come true - maybe we should have renewed our vows! It also sounds like Chris and John have made valuable connections with reputable caterers, florists and DJ's/Bands near by to make any event (wedding, family reunion) a memorable one. We stayed at Zion Springs about 2 months ago, and have been there several times. FANTASTIC getaway place. Close to Leesburg restaurants, Loudoun wine country, etc., but away from the city. Rooms are nicely furnished but the place doesn't have that "Don't you dare touch anything" feel to it. The price was right, too. Beautiful area. The all homemade hot breakfast was excellent (don't miss Chris's blueberry/almond muffins). We decided to stay in a B&B in Virginia wine country to go wine tasting in celebration of 3 birthdays in the family. when we arrived the property took our breath away in its beauty, both inside and out. We were greeted by the John Tigges who immediately invested his energy in making sure our excursion to the local vineyards and restaurants was the best it could be. In the morning we had the most wonderful breakfast and conversation with Chris Tigges. It was an honor to spend time with the family, getting to know them, and enjoying our time in the B&B.
