This park is pretty close to the airport, so you can also do some plane-spotting as you please…read more There's quite a few smaller personal aircraft here, so it's great to watch! Now onto the park itself. There's a parking lot with a few picnic tables, and a trail that seems to go out into the horizon. There's nothing stopping you from getting close to the edge of the rim rocks either, so you can peek over the edge if you dare. There are amazing views of the city, especially pretty in the sunrise.

At nearly the half-way point on a trail between Zimmerman Park and both Two Moon and Coulson Park,…read moreSwords Rimrock Park brings you onto the Chief Blackwater Trail in a spectacular fashion. They call it a Park, and I suppose with a couple of picnic tables in the shelter and the "necessary" building, it is a park, but not one that encourages long-term lounging. There's something about this spot that makes you want to walk, or run, or meander. Here, on top of the rimrocks, either direction, there's an impressive view of the City continuing all the way over to the Beartooth Mountains. It's a park that's also the trailhead for further exploration. Along the route there is an occasional bench upon which to sit and look at the sunset, or the sunrise, or the clouds moving over the mountains. The path is wide enough to accommodate walkers, joggers, and bikers in both directions. It's ADA accessible. But, come back to the Park to take a break, or have that picnic, or just stand around and chat with friends. You can't lose with the view.

He knows how to swim it's only 3 ft when you freaking reach the bottom and so yes I swapped wristbands with another girl that was taller and gave it to him cuz the girl didn't want to ride he wanted to ride on the side like he did two weeks ago but unfortunately they saw that so when me and my son went up to go down the slide they had three ladies up there and the one lady was just rude as all can be and she said it's for the saved my child's head reached the middle of the orange part on the pole like I don't know why they got to be so weird about it my son has been on many slides many many waterslides and has never had issues like I can understand if you did not swim or whatever the case may be but the kid just wants to have fun you guys let him on the slides two weeks ago with no problem if you guys all need to be on the same little policies and rules or something because you brok my kids heart today thanks for that

What an incredible city park. There's no way you can visit this park and not find something to do…read moreor see or find a place to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Joggers, hikers, adults, kids, families, dog walkers, little league players, swimmers, all have their own space. It has everything: Swimming pool, playground, baseball/softball field, a hiking/jogging/walking trail, a sculpture garden, picnic tables, and more. The big trees provide shady areas for having that picnic or a party. The sculpture garden is an interesting addition to the park. It doesn't seem to fit into the entire outdoor activity thing. On the other hand, why not? The park sees a lot of foot traffic and if the art community wants to showcase the local talent, why not a park. Art for everyone.

In October 2022, I booked a trip with Austin Adventures scheduled for July 2023. Austin Adventures…read morerecommended that I purchase travel insurance for the trip and provided a link to their travel insurance partner. I purchased the travel insurance. I also made airplane reservations and a hotel reservation for the night before the tour. In April, I was informed that Austin Adventures was cancelling the trip and refund my payment for the trip. However, Austin Adventures refused to refund my travel insurance premium. In addition, I lost money on the airplane tickets. My total losses were over$1000. I spoke to Austin Adventures. I explained I understood that trips are cancelled from time to time. But, that should be financially neutral to me. I lost over $1000 trying to book a trip with them and following their recommendations. I asked if they were OK with that. They told me they have been in business for over 40 years and were highly rated. In conclusion, be very careful dealing with this company. They may cancel your trip and you could lose money you have invested in it. I have since seen other reviews that have reported similar problems. Beware!

About 4.5 years ago, my wife and I were interested in a family Yellowstone vacation as our two sons…read morewere finally old enough for the trip. We had never been to Yellowstone, and I thought I would be able to call a few weeks ahead to book hotel rooms and a rental car, I was terribly mistaken in my naïveté. Luckily, we stumbled across Austin Adventures in a travel magazine and gave them a call to see if we could book one of their family tours. They had one opening left on the first tour of the season and we jumped on it. I will wholeheartedly say that this was one of the best family vacations we have ever experienced. The tour guides were unbelievably knowledgeable about the park, environment, wildlife, etc. They provided an amazing experience throughout the park, at the attractions, on the hiking trail, in the hotels; everything was taken care of. Immediately after our vacation, we booked a tour for my wife's parents and our children. Again, they delivered an amazing customer experience. After that trip, we booked a private tour for our employees. This was the last tour of the season, which could have meant AA might have been experiencing some fatigue from a long season. But, it was anything but that, we had a wonderful tour. Our employees still speak about it to this day. We had another tour this season, everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves. AA has only improved on their impeccable customer service.
