It comes in a big silver tray with heating below so it stays warm and stewing while you eat. The fish is tender and flavorful, having soaked up all the decadent chiles and spices. You can also order add-ins to include in the stew such as potatoes, bamboo, tofu... whatever you're in the mood for. The lotus stuffed with sweet sticky rice was a first for me but provided a nice light finish to the meal that was just the right balance of sweet and fresh. Also, if you're directionally challenged like me, yes the restaurant is the one with all the hotpot signs in front! We saw many people doing different styles of hotpot as well as grilled skewers which we will definitely be returning for. The flavors are Real at Real Beijing.
