The start-over has consisted of reseting and packaging all of the skills I have learned throughout my education and work experience. Because of the breadth and depth of the skills being groomed, it had to display from a qualitative point of view. As I began to package my newly groomed skills, documenting progress and milestones became more important than ever. Suddenly, I decided that I would use a photograph as my mode of documentation. It would form memories of the build up, and provide a timestamp of the occurrence. This would be the first portrait I've take on my own. What a great way to document! It had been over 12 years since I'd last taken a portrait, and that was the idea of an ex-girlfriend, and not of my own. I was somewhat clueless of what to expect with getting in front of the camera... I remembered a photo studio conveniently located in the center of a local mall. I had a good feeling about the work there because every time I had ever passed by I remember passing the photographer providing friendly professional service. She was often seen passionately making children smile, while they prepared for their photos. I was able to locate the studio through a Google search, to reach out and schedule an appointment. The phone call to schedule the appointment scheduling was simple and straightforward. The photographer answering the phone, Runeen process was fairly simple. Runeen, insured an appointment could be set, and further confirming availability. While on the phone she described the process and while also providing the option to take a photos using the Studio's provided wardrobe. The experience turned out great. Runeen was able to take several shots and allowed me to pick the ones I liked. I will definitely go back. I have already been back for a second take shoot, and have another one planned for my next milestone.

I am terminally ill and I am hanging on as hard as I can for my boys. The only thing I wanted before I die is to have a big Canvas picture of my boys to look up at when I'm laying down so I can see my boys not someone else's painting or picture, I wanted a picture of my boys before I die but it looks like that is not going to happen. The owner was very insensitive, could care less about my situation and would not give me a retake (I have a free sitting fee slip) but she will not. I am an Air Force Veteran, I could not even speak with the employee because she was the owners Mom and she could only speak Arabic. Very offensive to any Veteran. 168.00 plus 20 for a flash drive because she put it on a CD and I do not have a CD player on my computer or anything else. I don't even own a DVD player. So I basically spent 200.00 for 4 pictures, the one 11x14 by far is the worst picture of all. She is the professional, she is the one who knows how to organize the boys in the picture. It looks liKe a kindergartner took the pictures and said now give me 200.00 for this crap that only my Mom and Dad will say is nice because they love me and don't want to hurt my feelings. Well Jannah you are not my child and I will say it like it is, THE PICTURES ARE HORRIBLE! I wouldn't give these pictures free to anyone. They would say: are you kidding? Who wants these? Someone without sight or a family member such as a grandparent that will take any picture and love it. The boys look wonderful, I love them no matter what they were wearing or how fat or skinny. I don't care they are all beautiful in my eyes but my eyes are not the only eyyes lookIng at these pictures. Everyone walking in my house will see those horrific pictures and think what kind of Mom put up pictures of her boys like that. Well I guess I am because I get no retake, I'm on disability so I do not have another 200.00 to take a chance on getting better pictures. You see it is more than pictures for me. I don't know when my last day will be. I took every picture down from my house for hopes of one large Canvas of my boys. At least their faces are painted in my heart. As for Jannah I really hope you change your ways. There is only one judge and he knows all, nothing is hid from him. Boys I love you, you all look great, it was the poor customer service I received and it was very hard for me to get the photos. I love You oxox. It's not any of your faults. She is the professional, she knew the pictures looked bad esp the 11x14.
