In regards to Zeus Lending I think theyre great hard money lender. Personally I worked with a LO that is no longer with the company on a personal hard money loan app. HOWEVER, for my clients they were given someone my the name of Diana "Dee" De La Cruz. She has provided a horrible experience for my clients as well as the seller/agent! From multiple amendments needing to be made of the closing date because she was not attentive to the file, to non responsiveness for DAYS at a time. She has no since of urgency. We were due to close 12/4/23. I've asked for a manager on multiple occasions, and she will not give me the information. I will continue to use and refer Zeus but DEE should either be trained better or needs a job change. In real estate time is of the essence and she isn't good for this business. We are due to close for the 3rd time tomorrow and she has yet to respond to a single email or text. SMH MAKE SURE THEY GET YOU A GOOD LOAN OFFICER! read more

Is it possible to give 0 stars? If so, these guys would have earned a 0 star rating from me. So I gave these guys another chance after my first review, I sort of had to because they were holding my money. But anyways, I was assured by one of the department managers that she was on top of it and would personally watch my next transaction to assure it went smoothly. Again, I was told 3 to 5 days to get my money out of escrow to repay me for the expenses I had to pay the contractors. I was skeptical since the first transaction took about 2 weeks, but who knows, maybe they'll be better the 2nd time. HA! I submitted the request August 17th. On August 23rd (day 4) I reached out to them to make sure everything was in schedule to be completed by the following day. The person who answered couldn't tell me anything, just that she would check in it. I never got a follow up. That Friday, I was promised it would be done that day or the following Monday. If you are keeping track that would be day 6 or 7 after being assured it would take 3 to 5. We'll that Friday nothing happened and that weekend Hurricane Harvey hit. I left them alone the whole next week until September 1st, knowing people were having trouble getting to work that week. I was informed that they would need a post hurricane inspection. WHAT?!? If they would have done their job, they wouldn't need another inspection! I was told it was required. We'll by this time, there is a tenant in the house and we would need to be courteous to them and schedule a time to inspect. The inspector took until the following Thursday to reach out to me to schedule it. Now we are on day 10 if we don't count the week after the hurricane, 15 if we count it! He schedules for the following morning and shows up on time on day 16. At 6:35 pm of that Friday evening, I got an email that everything was fine, but that the bank wanted a copy of the waranty for the AC system. This is something they could have asked me for at the beginning of this process. Feeling like it's been one issue, one excuse after another, I finally lost my patience and sent a strongly worded email along with the waranty. Today, someone new calls me to apologize for the lengthy delay in getting my money to me. He assured me I would have it today. He followed up a few minutes ago to let me know that they have finally sent my money. When I asked how much, the amount was several hundred short of the expected amount. Upon asking why, I'm told I was being charged for not 1, not 2, but 3 inspections! I'm ok paying for 1, but the post hurricane inspections should not have even had to happen. This should have been cleared up before the hurricane even happened. They are charging me for their mistakes! The poor guy said he was only trying to fix the problems so I asked him to actually fix it. They are one lie and excuse after another. Stay away, stay far away. read more

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Began a purchase on June 2, was assured it would close by July 8. When the week of closing arrived, I was informed that Augusto had set everything up as a refinance, not a purchase, so the entire process had to start over. Excuse after excuse. To keep my contract, i had to agree to pay the seller 1 month mortgage and utilities. Fast forward to the week of closing and the appraisal that was ordered was never completed. Not only that, because zeus didn't give the appraisal company adequate notice, I was charged a $550 trip charge. I finally said forget it, and hired anther mortgage broker. 16 days later, after firing zeus mortgage, we closed on our house. I never did receive a refund for the appraisal that was never completed, so all told, zeus cost is over $2500 that I will never see again. BEWARE, they do not know what they are doing and do not care at all. I would never recommend this company. read more

BEWARE! BEWARE!! BEWARE!!! Unbelievable dishonesty and fraud. I gave them a chance to finance a triplex that they assured me 100% would be financeable. The loan officer ran my credit, took my financials and even sent me an email saying it was 100% financeable. He then charged $575 for an appraisal and told me it would take a week to get back. A week came and went and the loan officer called and said the appraisal had been delayed another two weeks and they had to up the price on the appraisal to $750. Two weeks came and went and no appraisal and again the loan officer called and said the appraisal had been delayed. Another 5 days of waiting and still no appraisal. When I asked for a refund because I still had not received an appraisal the loan officer told me a refund was not possible. I don't think they ever ordered the appraisal and they took my money to steal from me. Very fraudulent company. read more

It has been 6 months and I am yet to close on my $81,000 refinance. I know sometimes that hiccups happen and they are unforeseen and not able to be prevented. I have been very understanding through those things and they were not at the fault of Zeus Mortgage but since they have received all of the other information they have requested I have still not received a final approval and it is now getting rather difficult to reach Brian Noir (Sales Manager) and Jackie Sager who appeared to be so helpful through the early steps of the process. I would like to add that I have an 800 credit score and make well over $100,000 a year with zero debt so if they are having this much trouble getting my loan done God only knows how horrible they must be with customers that are more credit challenged. My advice would be stick with more nationally reputable companies that have built their reputation on customer service. Sometimes trying to give your business to local companies is a bad idea and experiences like this are why they can not expand beyond the local market. read more

I've worked mainly with Roger Salinas who is the senior loan officer and he has offered great service along with the rest of his staff. There have been bumps along the road but that is expected from trying to get a loan these days. Zeus has been patient with me and have made the time to answer all my questions along the way. Be very cautious using this lender. They are unprofessional, uninformed, and do not care about the customer. You have to bug them to get with the title company or insurance company. They tell you that you're approved let you spend thousands and then you are suddenly not approved and then you get what they ask for and you are approved again only to find out a week before closing they aren't on top of your file and they expect you to extend the contract. Knowing your angry after all of this, you call to get answers and they won't pick up the phone, business or cell. So you text and they ignore you. Again knowing that there's a week until closing, expecting you to extend but not saying how long or providing any updates on what's left to do on the loan. Run for the hills. Do not use them!!!!!! They're great until they get you locked in and then you're screwed!!!!!!! read more
